I stayed for a week in early June for a conference and was really happy I chose this hotel. It's a really great location, the rooms are comfortable and although reception isn't open on the weekend the service was so accomodating. It's in the middle of the city and the street noise did bother me the first night, but I quickly got more used to it and to be fair the location outweighed any of that discomfort.

The university is just across the road and the art gallery, botanic gardens and dining on Rundle St East of the Mall are all an easy walk. The hotel is a charming heritage building and I really enjoyed walking in the doors each evening. Thanks to the team who made it such a pleasant stay.

If you are looking for an accommodation experience that isn't a 5 star multinational owned tower, but offers a historic location with thoughtful & comfortable appointments, then perhaps this place is for you. I've stayed at The Intercontinental, The Hilton & The Stamford numerous times, & what they offer is a generic notion of luxury. My suite had more than I needed for my 3 night stay ie a full kitchen etc, especially since the hotel's proximity to Rundle St restaurants & bars made cooking an option that I didn't take up. I was afforded my privacy, which I value greatly. I'll be booking in again next visit without a doubt.

This apartment provided us a private haven to escape the chaos of a family visit.

Location was great, facilities good, kitchen well supplied, and comfortable bed. The refurbishment seemed recent, room was spacious and comfortable.

Reception team were kind and friendly. Just what we needed after a drive over three days, to arrive.

Parking is in a secure site across the road from the apartments, so just be prepared when you check in to utilise the loading zone, nearby.

Incredible stay with massive rooms and great location
I booked mansions on Pulteney quite last minute and was fairly surprised. The rooms are extremely spacious with high ceilings, fully equipped kitchen and they have been renovated recently so the decor and equipment is very modern. It definitely felt like a treat staying here.
The staff was very friendly too and were willing to provide information on things to do around Adelaide.
The location is amazing, just a stone's throw away from Rundle mall and plenty of shops, cafes and parks. While Christmas time was a bit quieter, it helped being in the middle of the city as there were always people around
I would definitely recommend you stay here and will be staying here if I am ever in Adelaide again

Refurbished apartment was large, immaculately clean, plenty of crockery and cutlery and a very comfortable bed. Kevin was very friendly and helpful and the location just round the Rundle Mall was superb.

Unfortunately got the old room, ask if you can stay in the renovated rooms. Only positive thing about the room is it is spacious. The vent in the bathroom was very dusty, and the curtains need replacing which was dirty. Too bad the reception are closed on weekends to ask to move. Great location, pay a little more to stay somewhere else if they can't put you in the renovated rooms.

Upgraded to a new stylishly renovated 1 br appt on the 3rd floor for slightly extra. Excellent value. Could easily have a dinner party for 4.

Soo sad we had asked for a family room we where on 2nd floor and it wasnt kid safe the air conditioning was to the height of my 1 year old and felt the whole set up wasnt child appropriate the photos look nothing like what it was actually like there was no carpet the floors made my kids feet really dirty I had to continually wash my kids hands and feet because how black they where from the floor the tiles where cracked in most parts it smelt really bad lucky I had sprays not to mention their cleaning efforts where bad enough that my 1 year old picked up a used bandaid on the floor and lucky we noticed other wise she would of had it in her mouth really not happy about our stay not hygienic at allCustomer service was great just a poor room and set up

We spent one night at mansions and I couldnt deal with it. Absolutely disgusting! My husband had to buy window cleaner to clean the dirty windows, there was dust everywhere and apparently we had one of the best rooms we asked for a upgrade they wanted to charge an extra $40 per night... we asked to be moved to la loft on nth tce, had to forfeit 3 days of a 15 night stay. We then stayed for another three weeks and spent over $4000 in accommodation. Mansions charged us a $100 deposit and we are disputing with them to get it back as they claimed it was never taken... we cant speak highly enough of Kevin (la loft north tce) but Richard at mansions needs some cultural training on how to deal wit bc customers that are Australian Citizens than have a Canadian accent!! Very poor management on his behalf and we are appalled with his behaviour!! DO NOT STAY AT MANSIONS ON PULTNEY!!

I stayed in a room facing a very big an noisy building under construction about 5 meter away from my room window. I asked to be moved to a different room and they said that I would have to pay for the difference and it was about double the price. I then asked for a refund for the following nights and they said that they wouldn't do it and that there shouldn't be an issue with the noise because it was only a daytime issue (from 7am to 5pm). The noise is not only an issue when you sleep, I don't want to be in a room were there is loud machinery noise going on constantly for ten hour a day. The hotel would not give me any compensation. This room should not be available for booking, it's ridiculous.

Excellent location, very attentive and professional staff - Julian at the front counter was amazing. Briefed me quickly on where to go , what to do and was just super efficient. The rooms were great , big and airy - older style, but I quite liked it. I'll will be bringing my family back to stay in a few months time to see more of beautiful Adelaide and S.A. I will be staying at the Mansions on Pulteney ! Need I say more.

Definitely can go back. Had a weekend there. Secure and clean place. It had a big room with one double bed and one single, balcony, full kitchen and enough area in the living room - dinning table. Recommended for less expensive options and mostly if the intention is not to stay there but to go around Adelaide. It is well located also in the city, close to everything needed.

Stayed there recently with my family, during the statewide blackout. The staff were super helpful at all times. Some of the rooms need renovating, and this is not the place to stay if you are expecting a five-star modern hotel. Instead, if you want a beautiful and unique hotel, with fantastic staff, right on Rundle Mall, I'd highly recommend the place.
