Customer Review

Love this place. Food is pretty great for pub food. The chips had so much flavour. Food always came out hot quick and the portions are good. The staff were so friendly and happy to have a chat and tell us the story of the place. 100% will go back every time.

Great place to meet and eat. They even serve Imperial Pints! The burger and drink deal is a great way for mates to drink, chat, and eat.

Very friendly staff and the meals and drinks are always great. I love the happy hour prices . Great range of beverages available. They always have specials on during the week. We went on Wednesday and all meals are $20 plus an extra four dollars for a drink.

I had the Scotch Fillet steak cooked medium rare with pepper sauce and it was cooked lovely.

They have a nice outdoor seating area on the balcony upstairs and a great indoor area. Also have a ground bar which is nice and relaxing.

Harry's Bar situated in the heart of Adelaide's CBD is steeped in history.
We loved sitting on the balcony while taking our time eating lunch with a coldie watching the below hustle and bustle of the busy city streets 🍻🥂

Went for lunch with colleagues - service was great, generous servings and very reasonably priced and the food was great. Awesome place to gather for after work drinks too.

Friendly staff who are happy to help. Order to table was fast too which means you don't have to woof your food down.

Highly recommend this place

Harry's has a special place for many. It's a great venue for corporate/work lunch/drinks. Whilst the food and staff are good. The dining area is well aged and likely heritage listed.

Do you appreciate Australias historical architecture of the late 1800s? Do you like to look at mounted pictures and photos and interior decor that tells the story of the history of the pub? Harrys Bar is upstairs in The Tattersall Hotel and one you could easily miss as the en trance isn't obvious. But if you look up from the street (Grenfell St in the city) you'll notice a deep balcony at 2nd floor level. Drop in and enjoy a beautiful South Aussie Red (Hedonist was nice) or a nice cold beer. Watch the races or football. Enjoy the coolness of the south facing building if hot outside. Friendly staff. I wouldn't say its outstanding but its an interesting little piece of Adelaide's s pub history.

A solid option for pub food and drinks in a characterful building with a great balcony, bang in the city centre.
The quality is consistent and the food and drink specials are keenly priced. Each of the three levels has its own daily and regular offers. A reliable spot for a quiet drink or feed, a cheery group meal for work or pre-show, or a nosebag after donating at Lifeblood!

Absolutely love Harry's. It's one of the few venues left that haven't been gentrified. A genuine, humble proper pub. The customer service is unreal, the staff remember your name and your order! Welcoming, friendly and without pretentiousness. Everyone is at home at Harry's. Angus is truly a customer service star. Thank you, never change.

Harry's Bar is a nice place to go for dinner.
Unfortunately we did book a table, and when we arrived they couldn't find our booking and there was no table ready.
Of course it was at a busy time so it took a while to make a table up for 7 of us.
They did end up making a table for us, and the food was really nice. Good schnitzels.

Ground Floor has gaming and a small bar, but the upstairs bar will have you raising your pinky thinking you're royalty with custom platters to order along side wine pairings from their platter fridge an open balcony and nicely furnished bar. All the attendants have been incredibly nice weve met so far in our past 5/6 weeks of coming to this bar. Happy hour is at 5 :)

I recently booked Harry's Bar to host a party that I was holding. The experience could not have been easier. Michael the manager was very helpful during the planning phase, explaining our options and giving us advice on how much food to provide etc. On the night, Gus and Tom were friendly and attentive to my guests and me. I was able to display my photos through their televisions and play my music through their sound system. The décor and layout of the bar itself was excellent. The costs were reasonable. I will book Harry's Bar again if I host another similar party. Thank you very much. Highly recommended.

I just love the food here. I usually go for the best chicken with mushroom sauce schnitzel in Adelaide. Today I had the Thai beef salad. Wow. I would have taken a pic but I destroyed it. Beautiful flavours with a perfectly cooked medium sliced steak to go with it.

Great place to have a few knock off drinks after a long day in the office. It has a good selection of snacks to go with yiu drinks including chips/wedges. It has a lovely wood interior and the staff are very friendly. Has a decent selection of wines and beers on tap. The highlight for me was sitting on the outside balcony having a beer overlooking the busy Grenfell st/ King Williams St intersection below.
