Hello, went to the casino on Saturday, The first time in 14 years. They spent quite a bit of money up grading it. It's defenatly better than previously. They taken the pullman restaurant away, any put Cafe restaurant in on the ground floor with and Italian restaurant. This wasn't for me the Cafe restaurant was average.you needed to review the specials and the days they are on to be worth it. Directions around the casino average, most tables are closed during the day as normal. The Pokie machines pay outs are really low, lower than the clubs I go to they really take your money. Last but. Not least dress codes have really gone the way now.

The Central Cafe is generally friendly, with energetic and smiling staffs. However, the VIP Opal Room restaurant and bar staff exhibit arrogant and cold attitudes. In the past two years, I've never seen them greet guests or smile. The quality of food has declined significantly since they changed the menu, with reduced variety and portion sizes. It feels like there's no longer a need to patronize them.

Perfect venue for great music and games. Food choices are first class or value for money if you want. The experience is brilliant secure and welcoming for fun or serious action. A must see and visit every time I am in Adelaide. Beautiful location

This was a near perfect hotel experience. From letting us keep our bags there whilst we flew to Alice Springs for 3 days to the seamlessness of just actually staying there, it was all excellent. The location is great for both the city and the river. We had a river view room and the view over the Oval, Festival theatre and the river was stunning. I didn't book a room with a balcony as we find we don't use them, but this time I wished that I had done. The bed was comfortable, there were complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine for my birthday arranged by the wonderful concierge, Lavinia. I loved the iPad to control the room and anything else that you needed for your stay. The staff were good without being too obsequious; when the remote broke, we had a new one within 30 mins and a sorry for putting us through that! The casino was huge but didn't impact on our stay, and the bar and restaurant were fab! The mixologist made me the best Cosmopolitan even though it wasn't on the menu. This was also the first hotel to have both a rubbish bin and a recycling bin.

And live music during weekends in District plus live sports to enjoy from.

Great poker room, handful of 2/2 tables running that had a great mix of friendly locals up for a chat. Any skill level is welcome and would recommend for a first timer!

For those who are interested, rake was 10% on 2/2 capped at $16 with $1 of that going towards the jackpot (currently at $35000 for royal flush)

2/5 rake was 5% capped at $21 with $1 for jackpot. They also run a high card on some nights which is drawn at 11pm. If you are the winner of the highest holding at the end of this time you also get a $250 bonus for the night.

None of the higher limit tables seem to get up often.

Oh what a night, it really was. The ballroom was decorated so beautifully for the xmas in July show. The food was absolutely amazing; staff were attentive and friendly. The show was brilliant, well done all round. Worth every cent and more! Brilliant!

A really nice place to go to loose your money ! Drinks are a good price and happy hour is even better . The restaurant has some tasty and surprisingly good value meals . Steak was perfect. They have done a wonderful job converting the old railway station.

I visited Skycity mainly for eatting
Lots of food deal, delicious..
Free parking (when you spend 10buck).
I try my luck from now and then as well, for fun, having a great time.
It is a pleasant to be here.

Yeah, it's a Casino so you could be lucky or not.
Plenty of bars. My personal favourite is the sports bar.
If you like sports and a bet or Keno then this #1 in Adelaide.
It's central to meet up with friends or groups, in general.
Public transport to the door.
Great deals for drinks in the late arvo with discount drinks. $4 from 4pm $5 from 5pm & $6 from 6pm, simple.
You get even more discounts if you sign up with their Sky City card. It's worth it as it's free to join, just come with current licence for ID.
With cheap meals on different days it's a winner 🏆 every day. The meals I posted were Lobster tail @ $20 & chicken schnitzel at $23.

I had a fab time here. Most staff are friendly. I won on the machines and didn't even know till someone pointed it out. 10% off food and drinks if you're a member. For month of March 2023 - free parking if you spend over $10. Happy hour drinks (4pm on a sat is when we were there) were amazing value - $4 for sparkling wine. Had a nice decaffeinated latte. Came here after taking my UK friend on Popeye. He's never been to a casino but he enjoyed the excitement. Will definitely come back. As a girl I would feel safe on my own in here. Nice place to visit if you want to try to gamble for the first time. Ambience is good and the smell in the place is very attracting in a good way, not sure why. We had our dinner here as well, would be a 5 star but gave it a 4 cause our meal arrived almost 45 mins late as they had issues with the gas at the kitchen not working on that day.

It's a nice hotel with huge range of gaming options. Great vibe, lots of different faces. Always alive.

The boozy brunch at Sol rooftop was just what we needed to kick off my friends hen's night. The service here was incredible and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive - I would visit again here for the service alone. The cocktails and the brunch was too notch too

Attended a Tasting Australia event at Madame Hanoi with friends. Madame's Gin Takeover Festival of Food. Lovely surroundings. Gin cocktails sympathetically paired with the food. A lovely evening of wining and dining. Bought a bottle of the locally made Gin to take home. Really enjoyed this event.

One of the best hotels i have had the pleasure of staying at in Adelaide. The rooms are spectacular, the staf are extremely good at their job, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for the luxurious get away from the everyday grind.

Very sad to see what used to be a classy establishment with good, regular live music turn into a boring, corporate hovel. Also sad to see they have chosen madness over reason and now discriminate entry on medical grounds. Nothing would make me happier to see the place get hit my a meteor. A haven for lost souls.

Awesome place. I signed up for membership today and received for free five free beers, a beef burger, and plate of wedges. Best place for a bet and free feed.....

Some good bars to visit. I prefer Madam Hanoi's. Good service from helpful staff. Very tasty food prepared in local kitchen. Plenty of choice s for drinks also.Try the new skycity bar for excellent views.

The casino is ok, but the District bar is why I go... for live music with a party atmosphere. Sol rooftop bar has "to die for views", but you pay for that in the drinks prices. Overall, worth a visit, and a revisit! Well done with the redevelopment.

I am talking about the Guardsman restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful and the steak was cooked to perfection. It was great to see products from South Australia instead of cheap imports! It is a place where you can taste a great variety of South Australian beers without having to drive all over the place. The restaurant is next to the railway station, which means you can enjoy a nice meal , a few drinks and take the train home.

The sky city is looking great with the new building.
Had lunch at Central Cafe, food was good but the Asian lady who attended to us at the order counter was very rude & not very accommodating.
Lucky noodles is more nicer + food really great & yummy ??'?

We went to the balcony bar.
Whilst the views would be fantastic in the daylight, at night we found the glass safety barrier way too reflective and too high to provide a decent viewing experience

Not sure why it was so bad here but for some reason it works at 2KW for example

Also on the night we went it was very cold and wet - inside the bar as well as outside

There seemed to be little or no heating provided
Also all the chairs and tables were totally wet, yet they weren't adequately wiped down by staff if at all.
You could see people arriving and quickly leaving due to this

Once again 'The District' has out done its self. Great vibe, amazing beers on tap, and a new amazing poker zone. If its just a beer, or a catch up, this is the bar you want to visit! Oh did someone mention Brewers Shout?!

Lovely time at SkyCity Adelaide. Very friendly staff! Beautiful buildings and amenities. The best big breakfast we have ever had! The coffee was very good too!

The new casino and rooftop Sol bar are excellent. It's had a pretty big upgrade and is normally where we finish a night out off in the city. It's a casino so expect all the usual games and machines. There is also a great TAB area upstairs in the old casino.

Staff are fantastic, friendly and very polite. From the time we pulled up to valet, check in, concierge, spa staff absolutely wonderful. Our new favourite hotel.

Great casino place but I don't gamble probably the best place if you're after a game or so but would not recommend if your very addicted to gambling. You will get addicted but either then that everything else is very good.

Havnt been for many years........Wow, not much has really changed to be honest, apart from signs everywhere reminding people of the 1.5m distancing rule...... however they allowed so many people in there on a Saturday night, it was impossible to accomplish.... It displayed to me the attitude of " Money before Safety" the building and it's historic value is impressive however.

It's amazing how they connected the new to the old which I guess was in the wood works since development...And it almost feels like your walking outside when you walk through the back entrance that just opens up to the world. And the members rewards are anything but under par.

Sol bar was amazing! It has the best views of Adelaide that I have ever seen and a great selection of drinks. Definitely worth a visit! I'll be going back

The two new bars in the new extension are worth a look. Sol Bar rooftop experience offers the best views of any rooftop bar in the city. The new Pirate Life brewery is worth a look. Live band, locals brews and a skateboard ramp!

This is truly Adelaide premier hotel .From the second you walk in You are made to fell amazing. The staff rooms and finishing are at the highest quality. With bar's and restaurant this is truly a must have experience
