My beautiful man was concerned I never had more than a couple of gluten free options when dining out. The whole menu is gluten free and you wouldn't even know! Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Big serves and great service. We will be back.

I am coeliac and having all food being gluten free is great, especially since the food is high quality, I had a birthday dinner there a while back so this place is a good pub for groups.

The Duke of Brunswick is a cool place with a lovely homey feel. Delicious food, so many options, so happy!! The Dob dog is a favourite, the Coleslaw is killer. You can get a good stiff drink here too.

This restaurant offers a gluten-free menu and has a pleasant atmosphere with beautiful lighting and paintings. My experience with the food was mixed. The chicken fried wings were excellent - crispy and flavorful. The dumplings and garlic bread were ok. For the main course, I ordered Thai green curry (vegetarian); it was tasty but lacked enough sauce. I expected a rich, creamy curry sauce to pour over the rice, but there was very little on the dish. Overall, The meal was ok and there's definitely room for improvement.

The service was excellent- 10/10! All of the staff were friendly and efficient. Our food, however, was quite pricey for what it was, and most of the people at our table said their meals were bland. I asked for chilli and was charged an additional $2 for a tiny sprinkle of chilli flakes. The presentation of the meals was good, but out of 7 of us, not one person was happy with the flavour or price of their meal.

Food:
I've never really had a great main meal here, the food is always so tasteless and you'll never have the same meal tasting the same.
3/10
HOWEVER, the entree's are amazing, with a 10/10 GF garlic bread
Also the majority of the food is gluten free which means a great place for dietary restrictions.
Service:
Amazing, the staff are lovely and very helpful.
10/10
Atmosphere:
A great little place with many different kinds of rooms to eat, I would give the rustic, modern and garden decors a solid

Excellent service ??'?
Beautiful place, nice clean and I liked the vibe. I would definitely come back if I'm around the area. The food was good , the chips could use a boost of some sort ???" maybe a herb salt or something but overall nice.

Delicious lunch today, celebrated my birthday a day early with a stress free, coeliac safe meal that was equally enjoyed by the non coeliac.

Had my get Ted ready workshop at the upstairs. The venue is convenient, not too bad for parking and the room is relatively small. But you get what you need if you run a group of 10 workshops. Quiet enough though losing the atmosphere of a professional set up...
Downstairs has all the pub facilities. Did not try food; perhaps that complements other limitations.

For a pub that boasts everything on the menu is gluten free, they still manage to have a huge menu range with plenty of options for your taste.
The food was pretty good, but the atmosphere is a little plain, a bit like a country pub feel. But it was a comfortable dining experience and not noisy.
The staff are super friendly and really helpful.
Worth visiting, essential if you're gluten free.

My family had a lovely meal here. We all enjoyed our food very much. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is fresh, perfectly cooked and lots of variety in the menu. Prices are very reasonable. There's such a lovely, comfortable feeling about this hotel. We sat outside with drinks after our meal and chatted and really enjoyed the whole experience. (Everything is gluten free)

I am going to provide facts only and hope the owners and chefs can make changes.

Lovely ecletic styled pub of the 1800 circa.

We were excited seeing the menu with some south-east Asian dishes on offer. The staff who greeted us and sat us down were very friendly and Jen was bubbly. You could see her with other patrons recommending food and providing sample beers to taste etc. 5 stars

We ordered the Samosa's and spring rolls as entrees. Not much flavour or filling but heaps of soy and chilli sauce. Not worth the $18

For mains we ordered the Thai Green Curry and a Nasi Goreng with extra chilli . To add chicken it was $6 extra so we both did that to both dishes so $28 each.

What we got was not what we expected. The Nasi Goreng barely had chilli or any chicken. I got four small pieces. The rice was heavy with sugar. Not anywhere near a Nasi Gorenng. I did not finish half of my plate.

Next was the curry. The vegetables were spoilt/rotted (see photo). It was watery coconut milk with hardly any curry flavours. It was bland. Look at the photos. Chicken was poached and flavourless. That plate was left also.

On getting the bill staff saw our plates were half finished and did not ask how our meals were. Not worth the $120+ we paid.

That would be one of the worse pub fares we have experienced in Adelaide to date. Try learning to cook these dishes and 'taste' before serving please.

The place is very nice, especially the secret garden at the back. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a whole menu of Gluten Free dishes. We had a cheese burgers and a chicken schnitzel, the taste was good, we didn't have to compromise taste for Gluten free food. The staff was accommodating too, a gentleman there guessed our cultural background and tried to speak to us some words he knows from the language.
Highly recommended ??'?🏼

The waiting staff were all very friendly and served the large group very well. The food was absolutely superb. If I'd known how big the salad was, I would have had it as a meal. Lovely atmosphere and the private room catered to everyone.

Staff are soo good. Food is all gluten free (not that I am). I really enjoyed my pork and the crumble of the day. My friend loved their pizza. She also loved the gin flight the staff put together for her. I had a latte and then another.. Whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

Wow, what a place, all gluten free food and beer. Atmosphere was great, service was fantastic. We had pizza and garlic bread, very tasty. Will be back for the burgers. Wish there was a place like this in my home town of Gladstone QLD.

Amazing food, extensive and varied menu, as well as an excellent wine list and great range of beers. Such a treat if you are gluten free (GF) to be able to enjoy so many pub classic dishes and fried foods. This restaurant is supported by a very friendly and welcoming team, who all provide great customer service. Thank you to The Duke of Brunswick Hotel!

After a solid day of exploring the bars and pubs of Gilbert Street, we ended up at the Duke for a night cap and dinner. Lovely, fire warmed interior and cool beer garden out the back. Friendly service and schnitties were on point

Loved the food, all gluten free. Lots of quirky art and an amazing selection of gin if you are into it. Fireplaces with crackling fires too and on a cold winters night, what more could you possibly want? Perhaps an uber if you get too much into the gins.

As a person with coeliac disease, this place is my safe haven! Great selection, and I don't have to worry about contamination. The food is of great quality. I would give 5 stars, but I've had a couple dissatisfying experiences. One time I ordered salt and pepper squid that was too salty. Another time I ordered a pasta (special of the day) and was informed that it had a creamy base, but instead was served up a pasta that had tomato chutney as the sauce and it was awful. Due to being misinformed, I was offered a free dessert, and the manager changed that dish from the menu after I spoke to them about it because they want to keep customers happy in the future. Had a couple other not-so-great experiences, but overall it's been great. I have noticed that their bread for the hot dogs has improved, I was impressed. I'm keen to try more dishes here. Despite a couple poor experiences, I've had many good experiences here too.

Only been here for events, but keen to come back for a dinner and drinks to try the menu.

Great little event rooms for fringe shows, small and intimate but not uncomfortable.

Staff were helpful, and stayed open late during those times so we weren't kicked out after a late show to the street straight away which was nice -

Went here for a meal before an improv show upstairs. Unfortunately the two items I ordered (zucchini and lentil orbs and the hand-cut fries) were far below expectations. Orbs were stodgy, flavourless and overall had a very unappealing texture and taste - could be improved by adding seasoning, not pureeing the orb mixture to death and maybe deep frying the balls to add some texture. Chips were floppy and an oily disappointment, which is a shame because I remember this same item being great a few years ago. Service and drinks are good though.

This place is brilliant. Big rooms that don't echo, well staffed by seriously friendly, happy staff. I has been a while since I have seen so many staff members in pub.Rooms not overly decorated (great for my autistic child), BOOKS while you wait. Not that there is long to wait. Meals, which cater for those who normally have traditional meals, came out hot, fast and delicious and in decent sizes. The garlic bread, the hot dogs, the ploughmans lunch, the meat skewer, and the Chinese pork dish. All gluten free and perfect.Drinks were spot on. 67 types of gins. The wine list was huge!I found my go to pub. Thank you very much DOB!!

With my wife's recent diagnosis of coeliac disease, her discovery of The Duke of Brunswick Hotel has been wonderful giving her hope of still being able to enjoy a great dining experience without the frustration of limited menu options. The choice of exclusively gluten free food was extensive, including pub favourites and the customer service brilliant! We enjoyed a fantastic night out and now have a new favourite pub that we both can enjoy.

I went here as part of an office event and could only sample a few things but full marks to the excellent veggie arancini and the vegan cold rolls. Have added to my bookmark list to go back for a drink or two on a leisurely evening. Bonus points for their pet station complete with treats and tennis balls!

We went there for our 30th wedding anniversary party with a group of 20 in a upstairs function room and we could not fault anything at all. When we arrived the room had been set up for us which was more than we expected. The food was 10/10 all the platters and main meals were of exceptional quality everyone enjoyed it , not one complaint. Then Riley who was our barman as well as our host took such good care of everyone a true gentleman. Couldn't do enough for everyone right to the end of the night.
Thank you DOB and Riley. Keep up the great work and hope to see you again.

Seriously the best gluten free food we've ever had! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. There are so many vegetarian/vegan options, finally a place were I wasn't stuck with plain veggies. The servings were huge, you will not leave hungry and the food had so much flavour! Best dining experience we have had in a long time.Definitely our new regular spot. Thanks so much team
