Great atmosphere, welcoming staff, great food. We shared tapas and they were all really nice. Anchovy fingers, Korean meatballs, beef skewers, potato focaccia (really generous and tasty). Lots to choose from. Cool atmosphere and the music in the background was enjoyable. A very nice evening.

Real impressive beer list, and wonderful bartenders who created a mint choc espresso martini for us upon request! The onsen egg on the Caesar salad felt wrong but was so right, and pasta was not too bad either!

Fantastic experience at this pub! The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. It's the perfect spot to unwind on a Friday night, with great DJ music and a lively crowd. Highly recommend for a chill night out!

If you're looking for the best place to get wings in Adelaide this is it. Great wing night, just remember to order in advance.
Other food on other nights can be a bit hit and miss, but you can't have a bad wings night.
The pub it's self is a nice local with a good selection of Aussie beers and in winter when the fire is on its a nice place to catch up.

Yéééé we found a place that is alive in Adelaide. This place is fantastic, lots of people great choices of beer a bit iff the beaten track. Still in cbd but we meet a lot of local people. Nice chat, did i mention nice beers. Loved it.

We really enjoyed our dinner at the Gilbert!! We are local. We loved the different eating areas, out the front, back and indoors. Staff were lovely and so helpful! We enjoy a range of dishes including the barramundi, jackfish and curry dishes. Every dish was presented well using fresh produce, no frozen seafood, and all seasoned well. Really spacious dining area, clean bathrooms and easy to get to. Enjoy

Great lunch special, although steak was very much medium - well rather than medium rare.

Great little place to relax with a small meal and wine. Excellent to find a small pub with a really nice wine selection and not just buy the bottle. Only thing missing was a good old Coopers Pale. Young lady, doing table service was outstanding. So nice to see someone friendly and with a smile on their face.

Was recommended to come here by a legend bartender at Mismatch, and he was 100% right. Great beers (specifically Behemoth's Hopra Kai), but also great staff, and then a great band (currently playing right now). Good job, everybody!

It is a one of the best pub in the CBD. Especially I recommend to visit it on Sunday when live music and they have very cool beer Mucho Mucho Lager.

Typical Adelaide pub with good pub food & good service. Have been there on a few occasions and was always very noisy so not recommended if you want to have a quiet meal. Prices are fair so if you don't care about the noise it's a good place to go to.

Favourite little place to enjoy a few drinks alone, with friends, during the day or night. Read the paper, come for wings night, chat to the peeps around, live music is chill and non-amplified with new beers all the time. Great spot

Wings wings wings on a Wednesday or Thursday. Was here 4 years ago and finally made it back. Make sure to call the day before to reserve your seat for a American bar food treat.

This little corner pub has a great variety of craft beers on tap. Have had dinner twice at this hotel and both times the food was excellent. They have plenty of options and serve unique, well prepared meals. I do recommend it.

Upmarket dining in a cosy pub setting, accompanied by a range of craft beers. Front bar was packed for a Friday night, only downside was my chicken sandwich came out ten mins after the other 5 people on my table had already begun eating. Was tasty though.

Great selection of beer. Second best in Adelaide after Nola. My only complaint is they don't post the weekly wing special early enough. I always seem to book in for wings when it isn't a flavour I like. Should post the wing special flavour on Sunday.

It seems that the comments from a week ago are from 3 years ago or more. NO pokies, since then. However, the craft beer is very good, the atmosphere is quiet, the service is not very good.

Great range of beers. This is another busy place especially on a Saturday night. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Meals are good. It is very loud inside and I wish some of these busy places would use a little acoustic dampening to fix that. It really is easy to do.
However, there is a good half-outdoor area at the back and seats out front which in warmer weather will be great.

What a fab night! Picked this little pub to celebrate my birthday with my work friends on Friday 24th September.
We had a brilliant night. To top it off the bar staff were awesome. Remembered what everyone was drinking! Wow proper bar staff - you don't see that every day. Loved it! Thanks for making my celebrations even better!

The Gilbert Street Hotel is a really great place. They have a large variety of beers and are always changing what they have in stock. I have to recommend the chicken wings, but you are best making a booking. I also have to commend this place on getting rid of their poker machines.

Absolutely love this place, it's a regular for us for their wings night. Amazing prices, quality chicken and sauces. it can take a bit to come out but this event does attract a lot of full tables. They do well to manage time. Little bit loud with the live acoustic singer, definitely not somewhere for a quiet chat but an awesome vibe for drinks and a cheap feed with your mates!

I decided to just pop in for one drink. Being located in the south-west quadrant of the CBD it is easy to drive there and park without any hassle. Nice relaxed atmosphere and always some new beers to try.

Great hotel. Craft beers to die for..and forever changing the taps as well.
Great go to place for a couple of mates or upstairs for the party.
One of the better places in Adelaide.

Great little pub - location and friendly bar staff. Couldn't give it 5stars because the staff didn't walk around with the platters of food and just left on the table. Unfortunately I was standing outside and didn't get any food. Would try again for a sit down meal though

What a fantastic pub! Wish we had discovered it sooner. The beer list is the most extensive I've ever seen. The service and food were excellent. We will be back again very soon...next time in the beer garden.

I Loved the wings! I had the garlic Parmesan wings with some buffalo sauce on the side, that combination went perfect. Great service as well

Generally a great pub for craft beers and great atmosphere. Luke and his staff also offer fantastic venue hire for events. My recent birthday party went off without a hitch. Everything was taken care of including music, catering and drinks. Would highly recommend

In Adelaide for work and went to the Gilbert St Hotel for dinner and a few drinks. This pub/hotel would have to be one of the best I've been to. Inside looks awesome, is welcoming and comfortable. There are a few seperate areas to sit inside which is great! It means you don't end up in one, over-crowded, big area. The beer selection was sensational!!!
We were served by Laurens and he was the best! He was polite, well spoken and provided exceptional service. I recommend this pub, will definitely be back one day and will bring friends.

First time here. Great wings with lots of variety and all of them tasty. They have a great range of beer and spirits as well. They have different specials on each night of the week, so definitely worth your time.
