I really enjoyed my time at this place; it\'s a great atmosphere for meeting up with friends or celebrating a birthday. The bar staff 🍻🍸and security were very friendly. As for the food, the pizzas I tried were quite good. I just think it would be a good idea to check the chicken wings, as they didn\'t taste very good when we bought them. Otherwise, everything was great!

I've ordered the new chef's specials and I'm absolutely delighted! My new favourite is the prawn linguini, it was incredibly creamy, and the fried halloumi added such an amazing contrast and flavour. And the loaded fries... wow! The sauces, cheese, chorizo, and bacon together were mouthwatering. I'll definitely have to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Maybe they got a new Chef? But I brought my family here for lunch after previously enjoying the tacos in the Tuesday Taco Deal, but this time was far from enjoyable.

My sister ordered first, and then I placed the order for myself and my mum. I ordered a soda, and my sister ordered a cocktail. She was told she could receive a free cocktail if she left a positive review, which already felt uncomfortable - reviews should be honest reflections of an experience.

After some time, my buzzer went off and I went to collect the food. I noticed some tacos sitting out with flies around them that looked dry. I soon realised these were likely my sister's tacos, so I went back to inform her. At this point, I was already carrying my mum's and sister's food and couldn't carry anything else.

While waiting and being very hungry, I tried to eat my own tacos but found they were heavily overloaded with sauce (see photo). When I took a bite, a staff member asked me to go and collect my sister's tacos - even though her buzzer hadn't gone off yet, and he had just come from the kitchen and could have brought them himself.

When my mum received her meal, she was unhappy with the salad, as it was limp and lacked flavour. She took it up to the manager to explain the issue, saying the salad had "no life in it." The manager responded by saying, "I have no life in me," which came across as dismissive and unprofessional rather than addressing the concern.

The entire situation was very time-consuming, and being in Surfers Paradise, we were concerned about additional parking charges due to the delays.

When the manager later spoke with me, I did receive a refund and was offered a cocktail as compensation, which I appreciated. However, my sister was not reimbursed for her time or experience. She was also offered a cocktail, which was never provided.

The only thing that was handled promptly was the refund once it was mentioned that a review would be left. Overall, there appeared to be significant miscommunication between staff and a lack of basic customer service. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend this venue for a relaxed family meal and won't be returning.

Nice food at decent prices. Casual vibe. Steak sandwich said it\'s wagyu, bit chewy and tasted like a cheaper cut, still ok for the price I guess. Ribs were perfect. Lots of dirty empty tables, seemed like not enough staff working.

There's always something happening here, from live music to sports on the big screens, and even fun games like giant Jenga and Connect Four which makes it different from your usual pub.

The food was fresh, tasty, and good value, and the drink selection had plenty of options. Staff were friendly and welcoming, which really made the experience even better.

It's the kind of place where you can chill out in the afternoon with a drink or kick on into the evening with a bit more energy. Definitely one of the best spots in Surfers for a casual and fun night out
