Today I came to the cafe to have my breakfast and watch the game and since it wasn't on TV I asked about the AMERICAN CUP fútbol, that is being played now and the FOOTBALL EURO CUP and they have no idea and they told me that they don't have it on the channel directly and a waitress told me I have to pay extra too (no idea at all). I had to put it on my cell phone and attached photos and what they had at that moment on TV was not even an important match, it was an analysis,

This place becomes our local away from home whenever we are in Surfers Paradise.
Staff are amazing, happy and helpful. Great food. Cheap all round. Live music on Saturdays. Kid and pet friendly (pets outside area). Great place to people watch. Upstairs views are beautiful. A great place. ??'?

I was shock by the taste of chilli and prawn pasta, it made me satisfied and so excited. I love spicy. Chicken Parma is so so, a bit oily but quite nice.

During our stay on the golf coast, we ate here multiple times for breakfast and dinner. The meals were impeccable and affordable, which was a bonus! Chips were delicious, steak was cooked perfect, poached eggs were runny, and meals were super generous in size! Didn't have a single complaint. The upstairs balcony is super nice to dine on too. Would definitely come back next time we're in QLD!

Had a lovely breakfast here. Service was quick and meals were great! We found the breakfast menu was much more diverse than most places we have been to and still a fair price. We tried both the breakfast wrap and egg & bacon roll! Both meals were scrumptious and we enjoyed the crispy mini hash browns that came with them! Would love to dine here again!

Could not make up mind on where to have lunch and a quiet few with my partner. Lucky for us, found this gem of a place. Friendly and an inviting atmosphere with the best service and good. Will definitely be returning when we're back for another getaway.

Great food, prices, service and view - what more could you ask for? We had breakfast, there is a great range of options ranging from about $7 to $27 and kids breakfast too. Our meals were generous and tasty!!! Great coffee too. If you're in Surfers, this place is a must for a meal!

Nice & casual. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value meals & good range of tap beers. Is only a small venue so probably best to book a table. After 1.30pm midweek it gets quieter. More tables upstairs apparently with views over the Beach, I will have to check it out next time.

Nice location with beach views. Barra special was fine, spicy pasta prawns were very good along with the Aussie burger. The steak sandwich was pretty good as well. The side of prawns was very good. Calamari was ok. Service was a bit slow but friendly. Limited craft beers on tap. Nice atmosphere, parking nearby is an issue as a prime beach location.

Excellent meals for a family dinner. Kid friendly. The upstairs area is perfect for family dining. You can order meals and drinks direct from the upstairs area too.

We love supporting local SLSCs, and this one is in such a great spot in SP. Lovely views of inside and outside of the club and of the beach and street. Good food, friendly service, and lively atmosphere.

Decided to have Lunch here.The view is great - staff friendly and helpful - especially with the wi e choice. The special for lunch was Beeff Burger with Chips, a choice of beer, wine, or softdrink for $ 17.00. Very tasty and nice presentation. What more do you want! Good food and beautiful view! Thank you.

Food was average. Really bad coffee! Can't even taste the coffee, all I could taste is milk considering we asked and paid for an extra shot! Service was OK they seems friendly that's why it's two stars.

Great place. The food was reasonable. I had the chicken Parmigiana, and it was quite bland. It needed salt and more cheese, more sauce.

Went back a few days later, and I had a fabulous burger. My husband enjoyed some prawns. We sat outside and enjoyed the wonderful scenery of the Esplanade and beautiful Gold Coast beaches. My husband loves the Surf life saving club he joins the membership every time we come, and even though we don't benefit anything from the membership, he likes to donate that money back to the club.

Been visiting Australia for over a week now and today is my 3rd trip here! We love the food and concept! Also I look at the reviews and I don't understand how a great local place on the beach has people complain about bad service? Huh 🤥 how does this happen when it is seat yourself, order at the counter and help yourself to napkins, water, etc?! I think this is one of the best places in the Gold Coast! Thx guys you made my vacation that much better! Really great food! Much appreciated.

Great food, good quality and very efficient service at 9am for breakfast and served with a smile. Portion sizes were decent (Large breakfast was very filling). Only one person could finish their meal. Would eat here again without hesitation.

The Surf Club is just the place to hangout when you're wanting a relaxed atmosphere with all day dining and the best views. There's always an excellent selection of meals to choose from that's sure to satisfy a wide range of palettes. We had the lunchtime Fish & Chips as well as the Cheeseburger specials that were below $20 each. It was delicious in its simplicity with thick juicy flame grilled burger patties. Thank God for Surf Clubs and what they offer!

Great place and location. Got a seat on the top balcony at sunset. You couldn't ask for better. Looks over the beach. Staff were great and friendly. It could easily be my local if I lived on the Gold Coast

Great atmosphere with amazing views.
Meals came out in good time but coffees had not yet been delivered. Meals were very tasty. Smashed Avo was good portion size however eggs your way, scrambled was a little light on. Customer service was great and with friendly smiles.

Nice place for an afternoon coffee, enjoying the sun setting. Observing the street and people walking around.

Nice place to make events. We had our modelling department graduation here and on the first floor with a closed venue. It was so amazing, with amazing decorations, lights and runway. And the place has a good size.

Good place to go for nice casual drinks by the beach. The meals are worth the price. I would recommend becoming a member as the members prices are pretty good.

In regards to their meals, I would probably rate that a 3 out of 5 as they are a bit hit and miss.

The overall vibe and atmosphere of the Surf Club make this venue a good occasion. Grab some drinks here before you head to the other options Surfers has to offer.

Subhanallah...it's amazing. still can't move on from that feeling. So Romantic. It's very clean, the building face to the beach..the surfers..there are also volley beach area, the toilet so clean, you can find so many restaurant by just cross the street from the beach, buy many kinds of souvenirs and not expensive, take photos and I really love this place.

When are establishments going to accept that if you take items like eggs and feta off an item, you should be able to swap them for something else. Not charge extra for something of less value. Waited over 10 mins for a coffee and ended up getting a refund. Focus on saving lives in the ocean, god knows nothings going to save your kitchen.

Best breakfast I've had thus far in Surfers Paradise. Extremely fast and efficient service by wait staff whom were friendly and accomodating. The chefs were so fast in getting food out considering it was very busy. I recommend the cherry and blueberry tart, it was delicious. Location is great! Would definitely return.

We stopped here for lunch on a rainy day. It is right on the beach and near many attractions, so it is pricey but convenient. Everyone was following mask restrictions, which was great, but the menu left a lot to be desired. For the price, all our meals except one were rather small and lacking in ingredients. There was also barely any vegetarian food that wasn't a supermarket-bought lentil patty (not something you really go out to eat). Great staff and good drinks, but the food let us down

Food was nice. However we were overcharged for the meal. We had to point that out. I requested receipts for both the initial payment and refund and they would not provide the receipt for the initial payment. I was told the person taking the payment had limited English which I found offensive as I admire anyone that can speak different languages. I did ask her to write me a receipt which she did in English. I'm still waiting for a credit to my account which I was told would take ten days.

The meals were fantastic and a good size if like me and don't mind a decent size. Every thing was cooked to perfectly and the prices were really good. It was very clean and easy access. The staff were very polite and friendly. I couldn't find a single fault with anything will definitely going back.

After spending the morning walking along the beach we decided to stop into the Surf Life Club for lunch.This restaurant/ cub is located directly opposite the beach with awesome views and with a great vibe as the street was packed with people enjoying the day.Was greeted by a Argentinian girl who was friendly and helpful. Found all the staff to be helpful and friendly.Good selection of cold beers on tap but was left disappointed by the less than average lunches. We ordered the steak sandwich and fish basket both meals lacked any flavour or taste. Its very rare that we ever leave or anything of our meal.

Wow! I just experienced the best and most genuine customer service ever. Karen is a credit to this place. She is the kind of person businesses need to be on the look out for if the want to keep customers. She showed enthusiasm, genuine interest, joy and gratitude. I would come back simply because she is there. Thanks for a great customer service experience Karen.

Sadly I have to give 1 star id give 0 if possible.Last week I arrived here with the best view the best weather. And was greeted by a lovely gentlemen .We were offered a seat facing the beach and in the sun it was perfect. Unfortunately when I went to order my breakfast. I have an allergy an asked to amend the menu. And was told NO ! I said but you offer it on your menu. NO! The girl said.I work in a cafe and sometimes you have to just keep the customers happy and when its an allergy you do everything you can to make them happy and have a nice mealIf I was allowed to have what I wanted I would have spent a good 30$ which you lost because this staff member couldn't be bothered to help me.Such a shame especially in 2020 shame I didn't get her name but I can describe her to you if you would like to rectify the problem. Because I wouldn't want her working for me when she's costing you money.

If your ever in the community and can help those who help us is to call into the local surf clubs and buy a drink or purchase a meal and say thanks for the great work these people do. We had an amazing meal in such a wonderful family friendly atmosphere with a couple of stories from the locals. Great faces great prices and definitely a value for money feed..... enjoy your Gold Coast stay..
