A fun place to visit despite being hidden away a little. Service is great food is good ðŸ' our friends won a raffle prize too.

I returned here after about a year. I found this place accidently the first time and was stoked to discover the real RSL feel right on the GC. It's less rushed here and you can actually have a conversation with your friends and enjoy great tasting meals with generous portions that are reasonably priced and pretty quick to the table. They run raffles and member games which add to the occasion and they're so close to the beach it's great! You don't need to be a member to eat or drink, but members do get a discount and membership is only $5. Staff are lovely and the security guy getting down to the live band was fun to watch. The band was also really good. I'd recommend popping in pretty much any time. It's got a great vibe, is clean and people are nice.

Service horrible!
Food no taste or flavour so disgusting and disappointed.
Price and quality definitely are not in the same level.
Drinks not good enough aswell def never come back to this place.

It has taken me almost 10 months to write this review however would love to share my wonderful views on this awesome place where we held our sons 21st.
The best place ever!!! 100/100 for us!!!
The venue was easy to find and had easy access to the public transport and parking across the road. We had people from New Zealand, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane attend for our event and so the Trams were a hit for everyone who came.

We are from Melbourne, we had only seen the venue a day before the party and we were happy as soon as we walked in!!! They took us in at short notice due to the other venue changing their policy with us 3 months out of the event (which ended up being a blessing in disguise)
We were on the 2nd floor and set up how we wanted to. The staff were absolutely Amazing!!! Service was excellent where everyone felt respected and they were very friendly. The food was phenomenal and all my guest who attended the event had nothing but excellent views on the Food!!
Even fit our budget which was a bonus!!!!
Thank you so very much for a great experience! We have recommended this place to all we know. Even if it's to stop by for a drink or two when people are visiting the Gold Coast!!! It's five stars from all our whanau and friends ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Went in for lunch and they had a band playing. It was really nice. People were dancing and the food was great. Way to go Diggers

I took my child there for dinner and we enjoyed our meals and the vibrant, friendly atmosphere while we sat down to our lovely meal.

The food and beverages are a good price (I don't drink so I have no idea about alcohol), the facility neat and clean and the staff were very pleasant.

The music was live and quite charming - just a man singing and playing on his keyboard.
It was very welcome to see someone performing.

We'll definately come back again.

Band was fantastic , unfortunately the bar staff ripped us off ( paying cash), good little tipping business they have going there, still not sure how much a vodka and orange was, so we only brought 2 drinks.

This is a hidden gem. It was not too busy on a Saturday night. Meals were priced well at $25 for a schnitzel. Food was good. It's simple pub food without any flair.
A band was playing and was very good but it was so loud I couldn't talk to the others at the table. Other patrons were really getting into the music and dancing. It was great to watch. (I don't dance myself. I'd likely end up flat on my face if I tried.) I would have stayed longer, and I know I sound like an old fuddy duddy, but it was just too loud for me.
Overall it's a cheap meal for the area and the service is fast.

We had the best night out, dinner was delicious and they even had a live band. Well a drummer and singer. Good music and my family loved it.

Was a great venue pre covid but now it's quiet, -probably because they were not nice to people who didn't get vaxxed, so a lot of regular patrons don't attend anymore-not enough good bands, the menu has changed for the worst. No option for us vegetarians anymore either, except a fatty burger. Lift your game folks!!!!

Terribly slow service at the bar. 2 staff, 4 customers and my wife had to come and search for me, I was gone so long. The food was very good, I would highly recommend the daily roast, in our case beef. Beautifully prepared and a bargain at $15. Downside is the bar prices. Could'nt afford to drink here too often and that's probably why not many Diggers do....

We went on Saturday 9th July. Brilliant band played called Mirror Ball Express. Covers music from 80s & 90s, great musicians and wonderful to dance too. I've read a few negative reviews BUT our experience was great.

We were in the 7km radius for the courtesy bus which picked us up and dropped us home.
From the bar staff to ordering our meal EVERYONE was very friendly. My sister ordered the chicken parmy and I opted for the vegetarian options, both our meals were tasty.

Yes the clientele is a bit older, I'm in my 60s, so suited me, however lots of tables with a younger crowd.
It's not "upmarket", but we visited the casino the night before and by far we enjoyed our night here much more thanks to the great music and the friendly atmosphere.

Nice club. Prices reasonable and staff efficient and friendly. Didn't play the pokies but there's plenty there for those that want to. Food good too. Will be back.

1st visit in a while. Bistro area wasn't open, got stuck in the public bar, sat out on the deck to get away from that, however, no music to listen to as the speakers are linked to the sports & racing being called. Friendly staff & good service though. Food for snacks that we had was nice.

Friendly staff, good entertainment more so for the mature/senior crowd. Good service, good food for the venue. Food is presented well on plates. Food and drinks are priced accordingly.

Went during a raffle and the atmosphere was a lot of fun.Older crowd but still good energy. Had a lot of TVs for sports and racing with TAB options.
The food did not match the atmosphere. We ordered roast beef option and a beef checks options. The roast beef was a bit dry and it seemed like it had been in the heater for too long and resulted in dry stringy beef.the beef cheek was also dry and the gravy was thick and clumpy. Granted this was the first time we had eaten there so I cannot say that this wasn't a one off but still wish the meal matched the fun atmosphere.

What a great Little Club, the Wife and i have been in SP for 5 nights so far and have been here 3 times. Staff from when we checked in to Staff behind Bar are very Friendly. I joined the club, 1 dollar to become a member is Ridiculous, they could charge 5 bucks and you get that back in 2 shouts. We haven't eaten here yet but we will get there. Beer Cold and great selection, the bus driver is a very happy fella and is a great ambassador for the club. They have live music and tonight is Queen. Thanks for making a couple of cockroachs feel very Welcome.

Had a great afternoon with fabulous entertainment. Drinks were reasonably priced. Staff do need to be friendly - I hoped this would've improved since my last visit. Shame as they project an imposition to serving! Even acknowledging customers when chatting behind the bar, would be an improvement. As the membership card machine was not working I felt uncomfortable even asking for a temporary card...need to up the anti to survive in a hospitality industry!!

This place has changed their menu recently. While the food is definitely better it does cost more. I find it's still great value, as you get what you pay for.

I have had the slow cooked beef cheek twice and it was excellent both times (see photo below). I went there with my uncle and he had the beef burger and side salad. He was happy with his meal.

The decor has been refreshed which is pleasant it's a lively place so don't go there if you want a quiet place to eat.

The events team always have something going on which is great entertainment.

A great venue. Great location. Great food and drinks... But by far the biggest asset and point of difference is the staff! Not just friendly and pleasant; but also proactive and primed to ensure our experience throughout the night was absolutely enjoyable. It was all that and more, thanks to your people. The bar staff who worked the ANZAC Deck last night - Sat 16th Jan - were just awesome. Friendly, personable and focused on quick and efficient service, I cannot say enough about how great they were. Thank you so much!

Great food and atmosphere. Staff are helpful and attentive. Quick service. Music was so loud you couldn't have a convo but you can't expect much less for a Saturday night.

Great roast lunches. All drinks and food very reasonably priced in line with these Clubs on the Gold Coast. Excellent service. Spacious areas. All the usual facilities. Definitely worth a visit and becoming a member if you are local.
