Superb views, excellent value for money, delish food and friendliest staff you'll encounter. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Went here for work lunch. Tried some of their cocktails - chili & pineapple margarita, whiskey sour and ordered pork belly, fries with gravy and apple & rhubarb crumble with rum raisin gelato. Meals were enjoyable. We were seated in the restaurant area at a long table with views to the beach - stunning. Popular with locals and visitors to the Gold Coast. It is a bit of a struggle to find parking as there were some road works on the day. But we managed to find off street car parking and it was a quick 5 minute walk to the restaurant. Large tv screens on the walls playing sports, usually rugby league. Staff were kept busy, no friendly chit chat or interaction, they were there to serve food and clear our table.

It's beautiful, staff friendly and the food is amazing. We went for breakfast, sat outside and I had the best iced chocolate ever!
Prices are ok, not too expensive, and the view is incredible!

Visiting from Sydney we ate dinner here 3 out of 7 nights! The staff are absolutely fantastic, so so helpful and friendly. Everyone happy and smiling. The food was amazing as well and the menu is extensive.
The view is amazing too and the perfect place to watch the sunset.
Couldn't recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

Attended a function here and it was sensational. Right on the beach and so the view is spectacular. The food was very good. The service was great. Highly recommend.

Food never disappoints and the views are incredible right on the beach. The pork belly stir fry is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend to anyone!

Breakfast (pictured) was phenomenal as well. Came out very fast. Fresh juice was also perfect and a good size.

Tasty food. Great view. But gets super loud hence gives cantine vibes. Also def expensive. The charcoal on the steak was a bit too much, and tasted burnt.

Had breakfast here on a recent holiday to the Gold Coast. Friendly service. Good selection of food with seating available inside and outside on the decking. Great views of the beach. Coffee was good. Breakfast was very good. Well worth a visit.

Food was quite good. Seafood basket, BMD burger, kids spaghetti + a small selection of starters were had; overall very tasty, and good portion size. Price was a little high but overall absolutely worth it.

We had a few cocktails; *something* Spritz (sorry I can't remember the name..). They seemed a litttle pricey until they arrive at your table. It was HUGE! A very tasty concoction!

The view of the beach is perfect, providing a wide and unobstructed view. I took a photo but it didn't do it any justice.

Our Family had the best time celebrating my birthday weekend in GC. The staff are the friendliest people we've met. What a beautiful location with a family orientated atmosphere. Nice spot for Dinner, but service was slow - Both to order and receive food, plus self-ordering drinks at the bar.

Food was delicious when it all eventually arrived. Staff and Team were great, friendly and tried hard during service. The Brazilian lady who served us (Ana?) in particular was fantastic.

Really busy place, we went for Saturday lunch and the place was heaving 😄. So we were very happy they found us a table for 3 not to far from the windows. As the view is awesome (so if you want a table next to the window then book in advance). My only real gripe is having to order your drinks separately from your food at a different place, hence my 4 stars instead of 5. It means you have to queue up twice. I am not sure why they can't take your drink order with your food order? Anyway after queueing up twice (the food actually came out before we had placed our drink order, just to give you an idea of how long the queues can be 🙂). But the food once ordered came out super fast it was well priced and a really good size meal (very tasty as well). My other half could not finish her S&P squid and said she should've ordered the entrée size. My kid had the kiddies cheese burger combo and couldn't finish all the chips etc... but had room for the gelato scoop at the end 😄. We go here quite often when we holiday in the GC, most often for brekkie. So we will be back. Note this place I think is better value than the Surfers Paradise surf life savers club further down the road I.e. near Cavil Road. Just my opinion, both do excellent food just Northcliffe is a bit cheaper and meals seem to be a bit larger!

Absolutely delicious! Very generous portions, and such a wonderful location! (And the staff - shower friendly and kind!)

Had the BMD Burger, and it has just the right amount of filling, sauces, and sides. Just loved it!

But the winner for me was the salt and pepper calamari with the red curry aioli. This was just divine!

we had such a lovely lunch at the BMD Northcliffe Surf club! Food was absolutely delicious and the service was friendly and prompt. The environment was clean, spacious and very relaxing with full view of the beach. We would definitely visit again !

On holiday from Sydney. Phoned reservation before we left NSW. Excellent place for a family birthday celebration. Food was excellent and came out hot and quickly. Great customer service. They ensured balloons were placed on the table and that the cake came out with a candle. Son was very happy! Will definitely be back when we are next on holiday at Surfer's Paradise! Thank you again!

This place is excellent. The service was great despite the place being very busy. Then when we got the food every meal was good. Linguine, parma, seafood basket and salmon all highly recommend!!

A really nice local place, always very busy. Great ocean views, lovely atmosphere, quick service, and fresh tasty food. It's nice to be seated in the bar area when the windows are open. I really enjoyed the seafood basket.

We had a lovely time here. The staff were excellent. The meals were large servings and quite flavoursome. If you're from out of town I recommend parking at Bruce Bishop on Beach Rd and taking the tram two stops south

Great location on the beach. Was undergoing some renovations so I imagine when that complete it's going to be awesome. Recommended.

The best surf club on the Gold Coast without doubt. Super friendly & helpful staff from reception to food service to bar staff - we had an exceptional vegan meal (so rare at surf clubs for us to be able to eat off the menu!), enjoyed an incredible view. We immediately signed as members but you don't even need to be a member because the club is so welcoming. We will be back as regulars. Can't speak highly enough of this great club!

This surf club is by far the best one that I have been to. My colleagues and I met there for a Friday night drinks and dinner. We were met by the friendliest and helpful people. This includes the bar staff, reception and all the servers. It was such a success that we are contemplating to do it more regularly.
The food and drinks are affordable but the best part is that the food and the views are outstanding. Overall, if you want a friendly place, support the local surf club, and have a great time with friends the BMD Northcliffe Surfclub is the best. No wonder they won many awards too.

Ordered calamari which were rather tasteless and served with a boring mayo. My husband ordered a schnitzel, which on the other hand was delicious. Tasty herbs used in the breadcrumbs and cooked to perfection. We then ordered a ricotta tart and the tart was too hard but the ricotta fresh and nice if it wasn't smothered in apples and sitting in a pool of apple juice. I'll need to return and try another dish because this place came highly recommended but I wasn't too impressed overall.

First time visitor at the end of May/early June 2021. Came for breakfast twice and dinner on a Wed (members night). Not the cheapest place in town but the venue, quality of food and the service by staff was the best we experienced on our trip. Aaron and Rachele need to be singled out for their friendliness, smiles and professionalism. They are keepers and need to be the measuring stick for other staff (all of whom were great btw but these two stood out). Will return.

Sensational location, food and drinks. Love it. Rocked up for lunch and wasn't disappointed. Expansive dining room upstairs with a section of it outdoors looking straight over the beach and surf tower. I had a serving of prawns from the snack section of the menu, good portion and fresh and delicious. Good gluten free options on the menu as well. I will stop in again if I'm in the area.

This is a great club! The restaurant is excellent! Right on the beach of course. Great service and consistently great food from a fairly extensive menu. The prices are reasonable and the staff are all very obliging. Book online or ring ahead to save yourself the disappointment of a fully booked restaurant...

So being apart of this club is no nonsense. Great chatty favourite personality's staff ... Foods better than what I cook. Easy go to place for food , drinks and fun. Got seated right away, food came really quick during peak hr and was delicious. Great value for your money. Drinks reasonably priced and wasnt too loud were we're sitting. Good vibes.

Today we went to BMD Northcliffe to enjoy the 20% off meals deal on Wednesday they have.... we were sitting on the deck overlooking the beautiful ocean, wich is amazing anyhow. We ordered two stakes, one with chips and salad and the other one with salad and vegetables for what we had to pay $2 extra. So $50 for 500g meat,chips, vegetables and salad + sauce... not to bad with a view like that and very friendly service. The only thing I would suggest to change is the "salad", more like 5 slices of cucumber on two slices of tomato and a big salad leaf.... bit disappointed for me as I don't eat chips... but that's winging on a high level... thanks again, we will be back!!!

Really good surf club with tasty food and a good all round vibe. Nice and clean, with an absolutely Stella view. Just an awesome place to watch the waves roll in whilst downing a few nice chilled beers. We ate the seafood plate, and the duck spring rolls and both were awesome. Quality fair in a great location. What's not to love?

Great professional friendly staff! Meals are large and very well priced! Awesome ocean views from most tables in the dining area inside and outside. I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here and every experience is worth the 5 stars! Thank you for the great service!
