Really nice pub fair. Meals are big and delicious. Good family friendly atmosphere in an old traditional pub setting. Staff are always lovely. QR codes so you have the option of ordering right from your table which im a big fan of. Really enjoyed our meal.

Lovely so long meal at the Old Bundy Tavern. Busy as a 70th birthday gathering. was going on in the big room. We ordered at our food at the bar our, then moved along the bar to order our drinks. Bit of a wait for our meal, but it's not an issue. We all enjoyed our meal and drinks. Cost approx. $43 each

We found ordering at the bar and paying for everything right away a bit strange, but apparently that's how it goes in Australia.

I ordered seafood marinara on fettuccine, and they brought my meal out some 15 minutes later, after my friend received his meal 10 minutes prior to mine... 😳
It was served on spaghetti, without asking me if the substitution would be ok...
It was moderately warm and had only 2 prawns and 5 calamari chips on it... (Honestly, not what I was expecting 🙃)
The parmesan cheese was its only good point sadly...
I would have taken the meal back if I wasn't so hungry after the extended wait...!
The staff member that took the order, possibly a Canadian accent, was absolutely the best part of having lunch here - she deserves a star rating...

came here for dinner on a Thursday night. was greeted by friendly staff. the place looks brand new. it's the best pub in town by a long way. outstanding finish. steak was good. bar staff very friendly and great service .

A great place for lunch or dinner. Its a Shane you can't sit upstairs on the balcony as Bundy needs more outdoor dining with a view. Will be back

Staff were amazing. So helpfull. My partner had a minor seizure and they were straight over to help us out. Food was great. Very well priced. Recommend to everyone. Travelling through and we got into town late mostly everything was closed, they served 11 of us close to the kitchen closing. We booked a taxi that never eventuated but they worked with us to take our orders over the phone and we sorted alternative travel to the pub where the team were so well organised and dinner was served. Quality food and amazing service.

Very good pub near the riverfront that has been refurbished. Large spacious dining area. It has a typical pub menu - steaks, parmis, seafood etc - but our 'roast of the day' was anything but typical. A huge pork rib, succulent and delicious flavour, generous crackling, very tasty roasted vegetables and small Yorkshire puddings. Only $24 and washed down with a bottle of Croser for $52 - good value!

First time to dine here since the renovations. Friendly, inviting, comfortable atmosphere. Table setup, as a square, was great to allow our larger group to communicate.

We had our wedding reception upstairs in the lookout function room. To say everything was amazing would be an understatement. The service from the staff was outstanding and the food was more than good. Thank you to the old bundy tavern staff for making our night so special for us and our guests

We wanted to go to see the refurb and new menu - I was half way through chemo and needed a day out - the hotel arranged for me to go to a quieter isolated area that was not being used at the time we visited ( how fantastic were they) - the menu is amazing and the hotel really bent over backwards to help and understand - they have small and large meal options which were also great!!!!! The hotel itself is amazing - it's been updated but none of the history removed (there is heaps of original features). Shout out to Graham who was soooo friendly!!!! Food was amazing - highly recommend this place !!!!!

Never been there be f ore, not local to area. There only for engagement party. Platters brought around without any tongs to take food which really didn't look appealing. Couldn't find toilets easily... No direction signs and once directed to a door, then I noticed the name plaque on the door which was painted the same colour as door. The tv's were on and displayed a rugby match... I'm sure it could of displayed music videos Instead as it was an engagement party event. Not overly impressed, unless there's another family event there, I won t be going out of v my way whilst in Bundy to stop by.

Went for dinner last night to check out the refurbishment. Looks great but the food was awful: I ordered the beef cheek pie. The pie was stacked on a stack of mash and fries with a spasmodic pea splashed around the plate for effect (hence they were cold) . Instead of tender slow cooked beef the filling was cubes of tough fatty meat that looked like pet food. Very disappointing and the establishment deserves better.

Great food and service. Really nice atmosphere with the old school decor. Will definitely be going back for another meal soon. Hope to bring some friends for Wollongong in for a feed and a beer.

Went here Friday afternoon for tradies. An event where you get $10 credit, free sausage sizzle, raffles and music. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Made us feel like we were in our home pub. It's an old school pub, plenty of charm best of all the beer was super cold.

A small group of seniors attended this hotel for our Christmas Luncheon. All were impressed by the size and quality of the meals with the exception of the roast of the day which was too big for a Seniors Menu. Too often the meals can be too large for Seniors to finish. A special mention must go to our waitress Carmen whose bubbly and friendly personality was a welcome accompaniment to a fine lunch.

Staying in Bundy overnight we wanted somewhere nice to eat, the motel had a suggestion for the Old Bundy Tavern so off we went. The staff were very friendly and the roast of the day was very nice plus the portion size was huge. Well worth the visit and we will be back on our return trip.

I found the atmosphere to be relaxing. The staff were friendly and the meal was delicious.

We were a bit sceptical to come here but oh my!!!! My husband had the best chicken parmigiana ever. My steak was cooked to perfection. The meals are huge and prices are more than reasonable. Will most definitely come back for more. PS. They have kids room, which is always a bonus.

I recently went back to the Old Bundy Tavern for dinner with some friends after not having been for a few years - As I wasn't overly impressed last time.
I was sadly, quite disappointed in the meal again. The service was alright, seemed a little understaffed (could be due to a worker shortage) and the meal came out relatively quick.
However, for the price of the steak ($42 for a 500g Rump), I was quite shocked. Compared to other Taverns/Sports Clubs in Bundaberg, it was a bit more expensive and so I expected it to be a bit better of a steak. However, it was very rubbery, chewy and poorly cooked. I asked for a Medium Rare and it came out Medium/Well Done, and it looked very anemic, with minimal colouring, which other friends commented on looking a bit 'gross'. Chips were good and salad was a stock standard pub/tavern salad. But I wouldn't go here for another steak. You're better off going somewhere else.
Other than that, it is still a nice atmosphere, clean and comfortable. But when you go out for a meal, you're focus is usually on the food, which was the let down.

This is a great place with the classic old pub feel. Great atmosphere. Decent menu with the pub meal staples in addition to daily specials. The French Schnitty is exceptional and well worth it. The beer is cold and also well worth it. Great staff who are very friendly. Highly recommended whether drinking with mates or having a meal with the family.

This beautiful old pub makes some of the most mouthwatering food. Simple but so yummy. Their lamb shanks are to die for. The staff are always so attentive and make sure your meal comes out gluten free. Thank you for caring. Worth the visit and prices are very reasonable. Recommend to anyone

I love going at 5-6pm and getting it half price on the app, the food is also very very delicious and service is quite quick. There is also a great kids room for little people to play in. Overall great place for dinner or lunch. I am still yet to try breakfast!

Lovely little pub. The staff are so kind and helpful. Food was absolutely beautiful! We had the Wagyu Brisket croquettes as a starter and the Mexican and Aussie parmis and they were all SO delicious. Highly recommend a visit to this pub. Thank you OBT for a lovely lunch!

Had dinner here. Staff very welcoming and food was fresh. Reasonably priced and Online booking made it very convenient too. Definitely a great place to stop by when in Bundy. Hands down the food here is better then the hotel (opposite the road) I stayed at LOL. They catered to our specific dessert as well.
