My partner and I went in to have dinner recently. I ordered the beef cheek. It was the smallest portion of protein I have ever encountered. The meals are expensive enough without reducing the portions. I went to the RSL club in Bundaberg the following evening, and ordered the same meal, with double the portion. Lift your game. Absolutely disgusting treatment by security (one particular guy with a mullet) which ruined probably the only semi decent nightlife in Bundaberg. This security guard was singling out Pacific Islanders and asking for their passports and visa "permission to drink alcohol", then turning them away. Never seen such blatant racism. It's 2022 and I'm having to justify that my family are not seasonal workers (simply because of their ethnicity). To make things worse, this security guard then got into an argument with another guard calling him everything under the sun.
Do better. Start with getting proper security.

Over anxious bouncers, I forgot to put a smoke out stepping out of the smoking area and was man handled out the door. Could have just said ' Hey mate, put the smoke out' nah, 2 gorrillas grabbed me and threw me out... Nice.

I was recently in Bundaberg on business and had an evening of twiddling my thumbs, so went out for a couple of latish night drinks. The staff and in particular, the manager, were very friendly and the service was excellent. So good, it compelled me to make the post. I generally do not do reviews but hey this is one of the first. Well done to everyone and I shall return.

Absolutely immaculate venue. The meal was divine, I haven't had food served as hot and fresh for years. The beer was ice cold and the service was perfect. Bringing my grandma here for her 90th for sure.

Went there several years ago, I still remember the terrible evening that my friends and I spent there.
They were rude and racist. It wasn't only the staff but the customers there too. They just sat there and watched us being treated rudely and humiliated. I cannot get over how disgusting and redneck they were. Those people there that night, have truly ruined Australian's image and reputation.
