Value meals, great atmosphere! Highly recommend! Food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful especially Beau. I would definatly go back.

I was in for lunch the other day and the food was great, the bar service was good, hardly any wait time at. Friendly staff all round. Will definitely be back again and will recommend it friends and family.

We've been into this pub for the last 3 Tuesdays while staying out at Elliott Heads. As soon as we walked in through the door we got a welcoming 'hello' from the beautiful Chloe behind the bar. A guy standing at the bar turned around and said hello too. As we walked through to find the dining room we got stopped and chatted to by 3 or 4 others including Bill. We had an excellent roast dinner and went back out the same way through the front bar, stopping and chatting as we went through, such a friendly group. So we repeated this for the next 3 weeks and it was the same every time, always a warm welcome. Thanks to the lovely Chloe and Bill and his mates there, we'll be back next year.

The girl Robyn behind the bar is absolutely amazing. Her customer service was A1 and handles the bar (which was quite busy) plus Tab on her own. Great work guys

The Melbourne was a great experience. Meals were prompt and kids play area was lovely and tidy. The children's colouring packs were a bonus. Leanne our waitress was outstanding and so polite. We will come back just for her!!

the staff were amazing to us for my daughters 16th birthday. Leanne made sure to look after all our requests . very accommodating and friendly. Happy to return for future meals

The food was some of the best I have eaten in bundaberg. Would recommend this hotel for a great feed, good service and fast as well

Husband had a craving for a mixed grill. Nothing on the menu. A quick conversation with Leanne and she had it all sorted with Chef in the kitchen! Happy husband happy wife! Leanne, thanks for listening to my special request (nobody does that anymore) and taking the time to ask Chef. Thank goodness it was a YES! But Even if it was a NO, I'm grateful you tried! That is service! Kudos Leanne!

Had a great meal tonight, super delicious. Staff were really helpful as well. Would recommend if in the area. Will be returning as well.

I would absolutely consider removing the signs at the front off the door saying "we don't live in tents" this comes across very harsh when alot of Bundy residents/family's are living in tents due to the housing shortage.

Service was good, food was good as well.

We had a great lunch yesterday, 2 adults and 2 kids.
We realized we missed a juice order for one of the kids and the lady who helped us went above and beyond and was just lovely and so kind. Thanks!!

Food was good, friendly service. It was busy on our visit, we were lucky a family split their table so we could have a meal. Table online order for drinks and meals easy and efficient.

We stopped in here for lunch, the food and service was incredible, that we came back the next night for dinner, the wait time for the food, was so quick and the staff were amazing and very chatty and friendly, towards us and the kids, the food was next level amazing and the portion sizes were great for the prices you pay... we are from NZ and would highly recommend anyone to stop in here if your after a decent meal with great staff, and amazing service!! ☺️

Dined with a friend. Her meal came out, I was questioned if we ordered 2 meals, I had to tell the waiter what I ordered. I was then approached a few minutes later, suggesting I hadn't paid, which I had. After a little negotiating, and being annoyed, I got my meal. The slow cooked beef was tough and fatty, i took most of it home to my dog. Disappointing, I definitely won't be back.

Nice atmosphere. Fast service. Food is also good quality and quantity. Had friend's birthday there and they were very accommodating placing my flowers on the table, brining the cake out after dinner etc.

Steak with prawn topper was really good.
Carbonara was a bit too rich, less sauce would be better. Fettuccine was a bit overcooked.
All staff were lovely.
Leanne was very nice.

Eye fillet, very average piece of meat, also had th prawn cocktail which was quite tacky. Perhaps my expectations were too high but it was a pretty awful meal

We held our daughters 18th in the Function Room and from the first point of contact, to the end of the night, we could not rate this venue more highly. The platter food was excellent quality with a great variety, and the service from Vera and her team was amazing. Sincerest thanks to you all.

Been coming to this club for a few years now, used to see bands round the front but now we come for dinner, and so glad we did, staff are incredible. One lady in particular I believe her name is Caitlin was fantastc and obviously loves her job. What an inspiration she is to your team, great personality, very happy and was kind to my partner and I. Thanks for a lovely evening. We'll be back.

I visited the Melbourne the other night with my family for dinner and just wanted to say it was amazing! The food and service was great, especially Leanne who served us during the night. She was fast, kind and ensured we were happy with everything. All around great night.

Took the family to the Melbourne for dinner tonight and had a wonderful time! The food was AMAZING and the service was even better. Massive shout out to James who was so helpful and a great personality! Highly recommended :)

Staff in the public bar and waitress staff were busy as, maybe they were understaffed that night. Clearing of tables entirely wasn't a priority for next customers. Only ever cleared dishes and left old cutlery, glasses and scraps sitting there on many of the tables. Watch new patrons come in and shift it to the sides. Meal was a little overcooked but on a whole we liked it. Telling staff toilet paper was empty in one of the ladies cubicles was last straw when told thanks. Yeah cleaner's will be here in a few hours and do it!!! Like bad attitude. Place was very well presented. Clean otherwise. Seemed to have a good atmosphere for the locals.

One of the best steaks chefs in qld. My friend who i dined with has non stopped raved about the steak. Cooked to order and top quality. Shame I don't live here to eat more of them. Might have to catch the train from sunny coast to get a great steak. Service was great. friendly and down to earth. Thanks for a great dining experience.

Each Restaurant makes at least 5 mistakes one one evening. All 5 happened to us. But staff was good, they followed up on problems (most unforeseen) and offered free dessert. But we were too full from their yummy food to accept.

The meals are good but they need to stop the public bar people from walking through the dining room abusing diners. Would not recommend on this. We were abused for no reason and threatened to be taken outside by a feral. Will not be back.

The bartenders are great and they don't mind having a laugh and or a laugh, their very accommodating with the drink orders

So Sunday with the children and no where to buy decent food for eight people in short notice. Googled lunch and come up with the Melbourne hotel. Booked online at 10am and walked in at 11.30 to a welcome. Eating meals by 12pm. Out by 12.30pm. Covid restrictions in full swing. Meals were exceptional quality and fair prices. Staff very friendly. The new Bundy Rum beef ribs are a must do they were awesome so tender and tasty, great job chef.

We decided to give this place a go and move away from our usual choices to dine. Kids meals are horrific value for money, at $10 each for six nuggets and chips, or for a salad poke bowl ; they should have an option of mash, and come with salad or veg at the least. They need to make their kids meals better value to get families in. Main meals were the most visually unattractive meals I have ever encounter. Side salads were lettuce, tomato and cabbage, the worst side salad I have ever had. The lamb cutlets were $29 for two, the gravy it came with didn't even fill 2/3 if the ramekin, and was not even enough for one cutlet. When I asked for more, I was told it was $3 extra (so $1 per 10 ml of gravy). When your sauce comes with a meal, it should be a sufficient amount to at least do the meat. Overall, there are far too many better options to dine in this region, and they are also better value for money. I don't mind paying decent dollars for meals if I walk away satisfied, this place is totally of the mark. I actually wish I took photos to share, but I was just so disappointed that I didn't even think.
