After staying only in hotels in last few months we have obviously had different experiences, mostly very good even at three star hotels. Staying at Rydges we were expecting it to be one of the better ones as it's 4 star. The whole place was like a construction site which is ok as it obviously needs doing.....however the rooms smelt dank as we entered, there were stains, taps and fittings very old, grout in bathrooms mouldy, shower heads old and disgusting both rooms dishwashers broken, dirt pile on carpet not even close to a 4 star hotel. I could go on and have pictures but you get the idea. Would not recommend.
The staff lady on the other hand was extremely helpful with no washing machines, she offered to do washing and did a fantastic job.
Reply with nothing to try rectify will not be returning or recommending.
