I was totally blown away by the amazing customer service of the bar staff this evening as nothing was too much trouble especially making me a coffee when the machine had been cleaned as I was the designated driver.
This was our first time attending their Tuesday Trivia as our meal was delicious and such a friendly atmosphere.
We will definitely be back! Keep up the great work as more hotels need to take a note from your book! Thank you 😍🙏🏻

I've not stayed the night, but I can attest that this is one of the more fun bars / pubs / hotels in Brisbane. The staff seemed incredibly friendly and professional. The bathrooms were clean and well supplied, with bars on the bottom and upper levels, both quite clean and efficient. I'd definitely recommend The Prince Consort as somewhere worth checking out.

Thanks to the team at The Prince Consort for ensuring my event was more successful than I envisaged. From the time of making the booking with one of the functions managers at The Prince, a date and the right space was secured quickly and from there the communication to make sure my event was an enjoyable experience for my guest started. I chose La La Land and being a Saturday, Olivia went out of her way to ensure we had the venue private for my event up until they opened to the public. The food was modern, chic, sensational, every platter came out well presented and extremely tasty. The service from the staff was a stand out, smiling happy team members that helped in creating a great energy for my guest. There was no problem in getting drinks to my guest, there were more than enough staff, fussing over us and making sure the experience overall was delivered. I had a lot of audio and visual requirments and i was given a total proffessional to ensure everything sounded and looked amazing, thank you Pete Smith. Thanks to the entire team at The Prince Consort, Olivia, Jason, Michael and all the staff that turned my Birthday Soiree into the ultimate disco party, my guest are still raving about this night.
No wonder this place is award winning, hats off to you all, bravo, well done, this really was an exceptional touch of the excellence to make my event SPECTACULAR!

What a wonderful venue!! We had my partners 30th birthday party, from start to finish it was perfect. Olivia was so easy to deal with and booking everything in and super helpful with all my questions. Sam was our host on the night and he was fabulous, all staff were super friendly and attentive. Last night we had a function for over 30pax at the 400 rabbits space and our experience was simply amazing!!!
Since the first visit when Josh showed us the venue, through the emailing organisation and help from Olivia and until the event date that Diane, Josh, Management, Chef and the whole team of staff were absolutely impeccable.
The venue is gorgeous, food just really delicious, and also a great variety of drinks were served.
We just couldn't stop hearing compliments from all our friends that also look forward to book their future events within the Prince Consort premises/staff.

Dropped in for an impromptu dinner on Saturday night at about 5:30pm. Managed to snag a table without reserving one! We ordered a few entrees and a main each, and the bill worked out to be roughly $40 per person.

The duck spring rolls were a definite fan favourite!

Olivia and the Prince Consort team went above and beyond to ensure our work Christmas party at La La Land was nothing short of fantastic. From our initial meeting, where Olivia showed us around all the great function spaces they have, I felt confident that she would help us orchestrate a memorable event.

The Chef and kitchen team delivered an array of fresh and delicious food and the wait staff showed exceptional skill in navigating through the crowd, ensuring everyone had plenty to
eat.

Another highlight of the evening was Olivia's DJ recommendation, DJ Chris Spicer, who was great value for our 4 hour package but more importantly he knew how to read the crowd and get people on the dance floor!

I am so grateful to Olivia and the entire Prince Consort team, they were patient and adaptable with our requests to ensure we got a package that worked for us. I would absolutely book future events with them and highly recommend them.

Excellent full sized and full service pub in Brisbane in Fortitude Valley. The team are a talented and considerate group that really take care of the customers and know how to take an ordinary night to an exceptional night. We really enjoyed the evening and the wide range of beverages on offer as the team did such a good job of keeping us entertained

This is a little hidden gem. The place is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so kind and accommodating. I would recommend to anyone wanting a function or even a casual drink.

I love this venue. Unfortunately had a cold meal come out and couldn't be re done etc but the manager Harrison was absolutely a pleasure to deal with. Refunded our money, was sincerely apologetic and dealt with the situation in a friendly calm manner, all on a Saturday night when it was busy.
Will definitely be back to try the food again and just for the hospitality ☺️☺️☺️

Great spot for a cold drink and a feed before a show at a Valley venue. Staff are always friendly and professional and the food is excellent, especially the ribs special on a Thursday if/when it's on. Grab a spot at one of the two front windows where you can enjoy a cold brew, a snack or meal and watch an interesting world go by.

We had our engagement party here in LaLa Land and just wanted to say thank you to Olivia and all of the staff at your venue. Everything went perfectly and we had such an amazing night. Thank you for making it all so easy.

We held our son's 21st in the 400 Rabbits room. The room was a great size and atmosphere for a gathering of around 40 people. The service was excellent! The food was great, and excellent value for money. We chose from the extensive canape menu. Thank you Olivia, Emily, Josh and Fergie! Highly recommend for a funky and fun event.

I booked The Naughty Corner function space for my 21st and it did not disappoint at all! My friends and I had a wonderful night and the bar tab lasted longer than expected as the drinks are super cheap! All the staff at The Prince Consort were super friendly. My booking was made through Olivia, who was quick to respond and very thorough with explaining the process, plus easily moved my booking when I had some family circumstances impact the booked date. On the night, the bar tender Emily was extremely nice, helpful and welcoming, with all the other bar tenders and staff also wishing me a happy birthday. Highly recommend booking a function here, or even attending on a normal night out.

I booked a uni launch party of around 300 people at the Prince Consort and honestly couldn't be happier with how flawless their service was. The supervisor on the night, Gavin, especially went above and beyond my expectations by remaining a calm and reasonable voice throughout all the night! All of the staff worked hard to ensure that our very specific arrangements with food and bar tabs were precisely followed, whilst also remaining very calm and useful. Finally, the venue itself (La La Land and The Deck) started spotlessly clean, was very spacious (for 300 people), and was conveniently nearby to other venues in The Valley. Without The Prince Consort and their staff on the night - as well as their friendly and welcoming functions manager Emily - our event wouldn't have been as successful as it turned out to be.

Regular visitor here , great food , great atmosphere for sporting events and well laid out to host different occasions in different areas of the pub.
Venue manager Jason is very accommodating and helpful. We had a minor miscommunication with an event here once and he went above and beyond to satisfy everybody.

Great food, friendly staff and the venue is beautiful, it's nice to be back and see the place refurbished. It has definitely a nice and pleasant atmosphere inside. I came on a Wednesday to watch the Drag's Bingo and enjoy a tender steak.

I went to the Prince Consort Hotel tonight and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. We pre booked a table a couple of weeks ago for a work Christmas gathering. Our table was next to the dance floor with the live music. I understand that live music is usually loud, includes dancing and may attract drunk people. What I don't understand is how any venue accepts drunk people misbehaving in such a severe manner like they did tonight without throwing them out instantly. Tonight, strangers came to our table and hugged us tightly from behind multiple times while we were eating. One man in particular was proud to show us his genitals (he exposed his genitals twice on stage as well in front of a massive crowd). Another man was throwing ice cubes at people, smashing a glass in the process. I was so perplex that I left the venue. In hindsight I regret not informing anyone at the venue straight away. But the behaviors were so obvious and constant (I was there for 45 minutes and it was ongoing) that they simply could not have been overlooked by staff. Very disappointing. I don't think that any of my work colleagues or myself will ever return.

Had our work Xmas party in the Naughty Corner on Saturday night. The staff were absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The price was VERY reasonable and I highly recommend booking a function here. 30 females said it was the best Xmas party we have ever had. Thanks Olivia and that great team of young men who went above and beyond.

I came into the prince consort for dinner with my mate. I've never seen a group of staff members be so disinterested in the customers, let alone spend 20 minutes making one cocktail. I didn't see one staff member smile at anyone, as much as I tried to make conversation, I just got the dirtiest looks. All at the first bar at the entrance. We had to ask the staff to give us steak knives as we weren't given them. I asked the staff if I could give a lemon wedge from the kitchen to go over my meal. I was handed lemon garnishes instead. If they were asked for anything, the attitude we were given was absolutely disgusting. The food was trash as well, the mushroom gravy tastes sour like it's off, the chicken schnitzel tasted recooked and like cardboard. My friends steak was extremely chewy to the point it was inedible. This is very disappointing as I've been here once or twice before and the staff were so lovely. I guess you could say they've gone down hill since then.

Was our last leg in a doggy pub crawl. Walking through the pub to the back you find a stunning covered beer garden. The staff are friendly and dogs are very welcoming. We had a woodfired pizza and salad with a few ales listening to the band playing. A great Sunday afternoon chill venue.

I booked my son's 21st at the Prince, and overall it was a really easy experience. The Event Manger was great at communicating, the venue provided a mount for a balloon garland, the room was presented really well. The staff on the night really did bend over backwards to make sure everything was OK. The food was fresh and hot. The bar staff was fast and friendly. The manager was totally supportive of us increasing the bar tab and just made it all happen without any delay to the night. Well done to all the staff, it is refreshing to work with a competent and capable team. You guys are industry leaders so thanks again.

Hey guys, have to say overall a great venue however you do need to advertise your happy hours, and learn to distinguish between an entree and a main when that is the way it is ordered...
I have been here 2 nights in a row, 2nd night ordered steak, unfortunately the sauce was cold... and no steak knife!!!!!
This is a great basis for a fantastic venue...

The security staff were very helpful and we found 'Greaser' easily.
It was fabulous to see Bonsai Bay live and to witness the release of their latest song, 'Jog on'. Fabulous band.
$5 very well spent on the best hot chips we have had in a very long time. Plentiful serving size and my mouth is watering just thinking about those chips from a week ago. I would drive south the two hours again to visit Greaser.
I did wear ear plugs as I was warned the music is very, very loud.

Had the pleasure of being served by Michelle in the gaming area this evening and I just wanted to say what a perfect example of outstanding customer service I got! She managed too not only handle the bar but look after the punters in the smoking area and keep a consistent eye on the entire venue, what a star. Honestly the perfect example of someone who delivers exceptional customer service consistently - great job.

Being a hospo myself, I love coming into the gaming area and having a warm welcome from Shane. They are without a doubt one of the most friendliest people I have encountered within the venue.

Love this place to go out always something on, has an awesome beer garden. Unfortunately can't recommend the food as we have tried multiple dishes and at best its average.

Lovely place. Really nice accommodating staff but the food was very very average. The Lamb shoulder was like a starter size. Not sure if they left something off (or a few things) but it needs work.

Im a regular went to the public bar today for a drink got told no entry were closing the whole pub for a function. Not cool hugs not cool at all. Found somewhere else in the valley with better priced happy hour bye
