Customer Review

Visited this pub years ago, now it has been completely renovated into a modern meets heritage hotel complex. Huge and bright covered dining area behind the heritage pub with plenty of seating. Bar, and food servery all convenient and large. Good service, and food, plus the beer was great. Not the cheapest, but given the venue not that extravagantly priced. Ideal place to meet up with friends. Be aware that the the "Jub" is very popular at lunchtimes.

Lovely open area. We were part of a private party and we were well catered for by friendly watchful staff. I ordered a coffee and it was brought to me pronto.
Highly recommended.

Well this place has changed!! Suggested the Jubilee as a "great pub meal" but haven't eaten here in many years. So it was a truly breathtaking experience to step out to the back and see the refurbishment.
Really bright and inviting, clean and sharp? but still has its pub feel.
Food was really excellent. Wood fired pizza is enough for two people if you add a salad; but it's so tasty you'd be forgiven for finishing a whole one.
Steaks were cooked to perfection.
You can order at the bar, or scan a code and order straight from your table.
Giant televisions weren't too loud (or maybe were on silent?) so dinner conversation was still easy.
Great spot. We'll return!

Wow, what a find. I did not even know about this olace until friends took us along on Friday, 26th april. The dude singing, omg, he is amazing, and if snuone reading this knows h9s details, uplease post here. The service was extremely slow. We ordered at 6 all via qr code and 4 different orders it took an hour for all meals to arrive at our table. Drinks took ages also. The foid was amazing, and the atmosphere was pumping. If you want your meals together, do a table order, not a QR code. Also, if you offer the qr code as a system, you need a place to add food allergies or a way to remove food from meals. The security guy seriously needs to chill out and not walk around trying to look tough. He comes across as aggressive and dude stopping like the 1980s action movie actor.

Most things are a little bit pricey for what you get, but the new refurb is nice and that kind-of makes up for it. Thoroughly enjoyed the chicken wrap - unlike a lot of the other menu items, I thought it was good value for $19.

Have eaten at the Jubilee a couple of times now, and not impressed. Particularly today, when my "carbonara" looked and tasted nothing like one should. Mostly because it contained probably half a cup of vaguely sliced garlic, and quite a bit of chili. Was not what I expected, and honestly wasn't pleasant either. (Attached photo is what I didn't eat, after picking out most of the actual pasta and mushrooms.) After the pretty average meals I've had here at other times, and considering the price, definitely can not recommend.
Only thing I can really say in its defense is that the staff are lovely. Kudos in particular to the staff member I questioned about whether the carbonara was meant to be like that (yes to the garlic, no to the chili) - he handled the situation very professionally. I appreciated that.

Venue is dog friendly and the vibe is great. The food, I only had steak but it wouldn't be a place I would recommend for steak.

I really like this place for events and gatherings
They have a wide range of drinks & food
Plenty of tables and also an elevated room to book for your parties
It's best place to watch sport matches because they have huge screen
I like wagyu burgers here

Good pub with plenty of action, however the food could slightly improve. Meal options were good, but the execution of the mains could have been a little bit better. We ordered calamari, and a few other side as well as 2 steaks (1 medium, 1 rare) - both came out medium well. Apart from that, a real good pub. Will definitely return.

Overall a surprising improvement from the old food quality and over atmosphere is on point with the entirety of the venue. Just being a stunning backdrop to some of the best food you can get for the price at the moment without question. I hope this place does even better every day. Beers of course need a little bit of improving. I would like to see more local beers on tap

250G Rump with Broccolini, Duck Fat Kipfler Potatoes & Red Wine Jus ($32)
Overall: 7/10
Review: I have been wanted to go to the renovated Jubilee Hotel since it reopened but just never had the chance till recently. Went for lunch on a Wednesday and booked a table which was a good idea as we got a booth up the top to ourselves. They have a good verity on the menu but I couldn't pass up a good old steak. I went with the rump and decided on the potatoes and broccolini for some health. Went with medium rare for the steak as I always do and it was a bit overcooked for my liking and I found it a bit chewy. Normally I am a mushroom sauce kinda gal but thought I would try something different and get the red wine jus. I liked the richness and how it wasn't as heavy as the mushroom sauce, highlighting the texture of the steak more. The potatoes were nice but I thought they would be crispy considering they were cooking in duck fat but they were a bit more like boiled potatoes. The broccolini was nice. Overall, I thought the price for the steak wasn't really worth it but loved the open courtyard area with lots of nature light, high ceilings and relaxed atmosphere.

I love the atmosphere of this place, especially with the live music above. It's a great open and bright space. Staff are friendly and attentive, as well and delicious food and drinks. Every time I have been I have been able to get a seat quickly which is a bonus!

Went for dinner and drinks Saturday. Menu options are good, and the food was great. My partner really enjoyed the Jubilee steak sandwich.
Lots of staff cleaning tables but not enough staff behind the bar. Took too long to get served, so we left after one drink. The venue has a great vibe! Will try again

Our experience started well, the venue is stunning! Light breezy and cool, big screen is great and the sound system is great too maybe a little loud. The bar service was good with a good range of beers. Unfortunately though the food let this place down badly. Basic would be the best word to describe it. We had oysters which were at a very concerning room temperature, the chips were plain and unseasoned and my wagyu burger was so over cooked it tasted like a saw dust patty. Made a complaint to the wait staff about the oysters and they couldn't care less. Hopefully it's just due to staff shortages but I really hope the food offering improves.

Great venue and atmosphere, live music, some function rooms on upper floors, can order food and drinks via QR code.
Food is usual pub style but taste is good. Fair pricing.

Pumpkin salad looked spectacular but very over seasoned and not what my taste buds were expecting.
Everything else about the new revamped venue was spot on

We had our work function here and the service was outstanding! I would have to give a massive shout out to Lachlan who was our main bar tender up stairs on the night.
Great bloke and went the extra yards. Thanks heaps for a great night! The AMA team.

Great spot, they've done a great job with the renovation. Very inviting atmosphere.

Food is very overpriced for what you get - Ordered a surf and turf with "duck fat potato's" and broccolini ($52).
Steak was nice, but 3 plain prawns sitting on top with no sauce was a little sad.
The 3 small potatoes chips I got, definitely didn't live up to the hype and the quantity of broccolini wouldn't of fed a child.

I hope the full release menu to come improves dramatically.

Nice interior. Do not buy bowl of chips - you will be in absolute disbelief as to the portion size.
It worked out that every individual chip cost 15c. Which probably means nothing to you, I know I've never had to count chips before and then estimate their cost, but refer to sentence 2 above re sizing.

Came in on the opening day with my work colleagues to find a large table that would seat 8 people to find one lady occupying it for the whole duration we were there (1.5hrs). To then be told we have to sit around a tree until another table was available.

Ordered and waited 40mins for our food. Would have been polite for floor staff to inform us of the wait.

Due to us changing to a more suitable table a particular waiter was being rude about our table number change.

Our meals arrived to be severely disappointed. My colleagues steak was cold and I ordered the $24 fish dish to have 3 pieces of fish on my plate, requested sauce to one of the staff to completely neglect my request and had to get up and get the sauce ourselves.

I understand it was the opening weekend but just thought the service would be exceptional or try to be.

Honestly I'm sorry but it was a waste of time and money.

Might come back in 6mths time once more developed but very disappointed in my meal and service, should have gone elsewhere.

LOVE the jube. It's one of only a few remaining old school valley pubs offering a huge beer garden and frequently still have live music. Plenty of good tap beers (including a few imports ) and they do great food - classic pub style choices , but the parmies are what the locals enjoy. Still the best parmy I've had

Girl hasn't a clue how to pour a Guinness, then spilled it 3 times while handing it over. There was water over the tables and chairs while 4x staff stood around and watched. The toilets weren't clean, never mind the fact it looked like the kids had there sticker's out.No idea how it's still open. This was Saturday nte around 6pm, you would expect better.

So sad... this could have been my new local, good vibes, nice staff, loads of beer options, but the food i was served was just no where near acceptable... i couldn't cut the ribs with a steak knife!!

That said, the other meal (special small steak of the day) was well named, but ok.

May give it another go one day however reckon twill be just a drinking place for me for some time :(

Pretty much the only normal pub in the valley. The beer is cold and you don't need a pay day loan to get a drink and something to eat. In a place that is fast becoming pretentious and expensive it's a great place to retreat to.

Excellent food at affordable prices! Garlic prawns are my favourite! Steaks are great! You take away an alarm that flashes when your meal is ready! You can dine in the public bar or in the huge dining area which is undercover! In the public bar there is a pool table! There is 2 seperate designated smoking areas. One directly outside the public bar overlooking St Pauls Terrace & the other out the back overlooking the bottleshop & Carpark available! There is many screens for viewing the horse racing! A Ubet agency! Also a large pokie machine area! Live music is provided on the weekends! A friendly busy pub!
