Came here for dinner on a cold night. Really happy with the gas fire setting a beautiful mood. I had the Thai beef salad and WOW 10/10 it was delightful. Super friendly staff, really happy about the service.

Had the absolute pleasure of enjoying a fabulous lunch here today. I had the Caesar Salad lunch special which included a glass of house wine for $26.90. The house red was divine and the Caesar Salad was hands down the best I have ever had. The hotel itself is elegant and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

Ordered a pizza was too oily so they offered to make me another one but once they did this the attitude of the 2 waitresses changed completely one of the. put the pizza on the table and walked off without cutlery I had to get my own from another table the young one kept ignoring us completely but the guy waiter with the glasses and beard came and asked us if everything ok which I really appreciated and offered us if we needed anything else

My partner and I spent a few days in Mount Gambier and were craving a decent steak. We stumbled upon Mac's hotel and tried our luck. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so graciously by the staff and throughout the night, the service was fantastic. The steak was easily the best I have ever had. So good, that we altered our Melbourne New Years trip so we could come back through Mount Gambier and experience it again! The second experience was even better than the first. The friendly staff and the perfection of the meals and cocktails were second to none. Massive shoutout to Tristan the bar Manager and all the staff at Mac's hotel. You guys are fantastic. We can't wait to come back again soon!

Macs is a must visit venue if you are visiting Mount Gambier and want to experience the friendliest and most efficient service as well as the best pub grub in town. I have never seen or heard of anyone complain about a meal at Macs, ever. The staff are brilliant, always provide a warm welcome and strive to provide the friendliest and efficient service. And, if you have a furry friend travelling with you, bring them too! There is an area between the bar and deck where dogs are welcome (well behaved ones on a lead of course). I simply can\'t rate this pub highly enough. The menu is huge and diverse and served in generous portions. The main bar has a great selection of tap beers and a huge display fridge filled with every type of craft beer, cider and RTD selections you could want. Plenty of parking and located in the heart of town. If I have family or friends visiting and we want a pub meal, Macs is the first choice every time. Do yourselves a favour and check it out for yourself! 10/10.
