We had a ladies lunch and all our meals were delicious. Great service and excellent menu choices.

Generally a good place and good value to stay. Spacious room, high-rise ceiling. Clean room and white sheets.
But I cannot believe the little smoke alarm dim light can light up the whole room in the night. I didn't sleep well last night.

We came for lunch - incredible value lunch menu, huge portions, very tasty and proper pub chips. Very happy to cater for me as a coeliac

I just had the Rhea's kiwi burger with fries it was very yummy shame my eyes where bigger than my belly.

The smoked chicken was too strong a flavour to have with the honey mustard sauce, it just didn't go well together and the carrots and leek were very bland, no flavour at all. The presentation was great! But the flavours unfortunately were not, not for this dish anyway.

Serving sizes were big, staff were friendly. Fresh salad bar and dinner rolls. My only complaint is the kids pasta was below average

Great hotel, at a good location. Restaurant and bar within the property made it convenient. Walking distance to market and key supermarkets. Nice sized rooms and modern amenities within the rooms. The breakfast, shared kitchen with all its amenities was a bonus. Highly recommended!

The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, making a few substitutions for me and my family! It was a lovely evening and the food was pretty nice, drinks were refreshing and the place had a lovely atmosphere.

Attended for Friday night dinner. Staff declined to honour a 25% online voucher on Managers instructions, so not a great start.

Our main meals were not delivered at the same time & very just ok. The deserts were also bland, so not great.

Wait staff did not seem as engaged as other Mt Gambier pubs/cafes we enjoyed.

Pub is in city area but a little our of the city centre.

We had a family reunion lunch on a Wednesday. We booked, but it wasn't busy. They have lunch special, which is 2 courses for $20.00 ,if you are not a big eater. We had the normal sticky pork ribs (yum yum) it was quite a big meal. There are no disabled toilets, which is a bit of a let down, but if you had help, you probably could use the normal toilets if you had to go. Barb was our waitress and was very good at her job. If you don't eat all your meals, you can take them home.

Good pub for gluten free meals, even chicken schnitzels. Great lunch deals, my go to for a casual meal in Mount Gambier

Staff were super friendly without being in your face, very clean and tidy room.
Decent mini fridge and bathroom utilities provided.
My steak was cooked perfectly and served hot.
The park only has the three rooms I learnt, so it has a very private feel as opposed to overcrowded hotels.
The only downside in the Carey suite was the open-plan bath room, I'm assuming it's been done to perhaps stop smokers, or maybe they thought couples would enjoy it I'm unsure but i for one love privacy when using a toilet :)
The bed was so comfortable, and the TV was easy to connect to with no annoying hotel password, just auto WiFi.
I am very impressed and will be back. Shout out to the morning staff for grabbing my partners phone also.

Went for a meal, nice entrees, but Lassa was cold, took it back to get heated up, came back out just right. Nothing too hard to fix. Was a beautiful dish

I would like to personally thank Barb for her excellent service and assistance when I made a mistake ordering online. Her customer service was fantastic and she helped resolve the issue which I really appreciated while I was unwell.

The food was amazing and I'll absolutely be back again.

We have stayed in the big room and it was beautiful however the mattress was super hard which made for an awful back sadly. The spa is wickedly big And the food and service was very pleasant. Large poker room and bottle shop onsite also. Rear parking included.

Review on dining only; Typical country / traditional pub. Good location, friendly & welcoming staff that go out of their way for you. Menu looks great with plenty of dietary options, but overall it is lots of fried & carbs with little/ no vegetables. The salad bar had one green salad, but lots more carb & gluggy sauce options. The calamari was tender, cooked just right, but overall not the balance of food groups for a healthy meal I'm looking for.

The Park is consistent, the food is always fresh and tasty. I go most weeks, the service is great. The $18 lunch menu includes home made desserts and salad bar.

Stopped by in a sunny afternoon, got attracted by the aesthetic retro vibe. Probably the most gorgeous pub in the mount during golden hours

The mixed grill was disgusting, dripping with fat, burnt and inedible. Find another restaurant that won't give you coronary heart disease.

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay in the Carey Suite. It was nice and big, the bed was super comfy and it was a room that me and hubby looked forward to coming back to at the end of the day. We also
were supplied with breakfast if we wanted to cook bacon and eggs, toast and cereal in the shared kitchen which also had a washing machine/dryer which was a bonus!. Highly recommend . Thanks a bunch!

Only came for dinner - they had a good range of gluten free options, however all the meals around the table were very average. Nice dinner rolls though...

Though the entrance is obscure and one is kept wondering why the check in counter would be in a gaming room, the service totally balances out the feeling once you are there. The lady at the counter was so very patient and served with a smile even though I showed my displeasure at the idea of them taking a photocopy of my credit card.
The room was very spacious. Much larger than most hotel rooms. The bed was super comfortable and we had the best sleep of all our travels. The temperature was perfect. Clean bath and toilet. The food and room service was by far the best! Would truly recommend this place.
Please bear in mind not to have heavy baggage with you as there are no elevators.
Overall, a pleasant stay.

Chicken Schnitzel was good, but tough to cut into and eat, but the taste made up for it. Nice and friendly staff, sometimes busy in kitchen so some patience is required :)
I would recommend this place for a meal.

They forgot my sauce for my steak. Never forgot a man's sauce for his steak and veggies that were paid extra for were forgotten aswell.....

Stayed at the Park Hotel for three nights. The receptionist gave us a wrong key so after the first night, we had to move to the other room. A lady rang me while I was outside Mount Gambier and gave me less than two hours notice to move my stuffs from this bedroom to the correct room which this ruined my trip plan on that day. In the beginning this lady said that she didn't have a spare key to move my stuffs to the other room so I had to arrive in the hotel before 2pm. After talking for a few minutes then she asked whether I was happy if I couldn't arrive by 2pm and they helped to move my stuffs into other room. I tried to arrive before 2pm and found out that almost all my stuffs had been packed, included my medication which had to keep in the fridge was outside the fridge. For this inconvenience, I was offered $50 voucher. However, the correct bedroom which I paid $130/night, was very uncomfortable. The bed was made of two single beds which put it up together so the middle part was very hard and it hurt my back, the head shower was too small so it made uncomfortable when took shower and took longer. There was a gap between the glass shower door and the wall so the water from the shower was leaking on the floor. The worst was no door for toilet so if you go to toilet, it will smell bad in the bedroom. I won't come back staying in this hotel and recommend this hotel to the other people.

Waited 1 hr 50 mins for a chicken schnitzel. Had a booking and were told after we had waited for 1 hour that meals were late due to a large number of walk ins. Why bother booking? Meal was average for a pub meal.

Stayed 2 nights to go snorkeling at Kilsby Sinkhole and had a fabulous stay. 2nd time we have stayed here and love the location and the rooms are so quiet, big and spacious with everything you could need including coffee pod machine in room. Great little kitchen with breakfast provisions provided of cereal, toast, eggs and the best ever bacon. Very comfortable king bed. Excellent value.

Was expecting your average sort of pub accommodation, not some Penthouse luxury type setup with awesome spa! If I had of known it was going to be like this I would have brought the girlfriend, oh that's right, I don't have a girlfriend :( But at least the room was awesome, thanks Park Hotel Mount Gambier.

edit: just had dinner...also excellent, super tasty schnitzel, sauce, chips and salad...I'm stuffed. (also great value for what you get)

Enjoyed lunch here. Serves were generous and we'll priced. Staff welcoming and good service.
