Been here twice now love the Gluten-Free food.
Almost everything on the menu can be made Gluten-Free
Gluten-Free parmigiana is my favourite 😍 but the gluten free cheese burger and calamari is also good.

Food was delicious and in the usual (big) Australian portion. I had Carbonara and my mate had Chicken Parmi, service was quick. Dining area was neat and clean. However, I didn't give the full 5 stars as the choice of beer on tap was quite limited to the traditional options (XXXX, Great Northern etc), with no Pale Ale available.

All round old school atmosphere of the way pubs used to be. Pool table, duke box and it's situated in the beef capital of Australia, Rockhampton, where the mighty Fitzroy River help found this small active and community wise population. This pub has been one of the original watering holes established in the 1800"s with stunning personalities from the reef to beef environment to the friendly staff and service. Pop in for a cold refreshing drink of your choice and make yourself at home.

Called to place takeaway order near closing time and they were very accommodating! We have a coeliac child and vegatarian parent. Vegan mushroom burger was amazing! So many Gluten Free options. Very relieved to find a coeliac friendly dinner so late at night while travelling. Thank you so much!

We enjoyed the quality of our meals and the availability of tables on a Sunday lunch. Somewhat lacking in the atmosphere for the dining area. Staff were welcoming and accommodating for our group.

Fantastic food, meals are huge and so much care taken to accommodate our special dietary requirements. Gluten free, Vegan / Dairy free were no hassle. Thankyou so much to Nicole, Dane & Eowyn and everyone who took care of us on our two visits.. Highly recommend. Best meals we've ever had anywhere!

It was a quiet Monday night, the staff were friendly and looked after us. The food arrived fast as well with the kids' meals and entrees first, which was helpful. The kids enjoyed the playroom, too.

Have had beautiful lunches every time we've been. Have really loved the garlic prawns but all meals we've had Have been lovely

Amazing steak (porterhouse) ! Best surf and turf ever. Great cut of steak, cooked perfectly and the garlic prawns topper was delicious!

Food was quick to come out and delicious. Best chips from any restaurant in town. The big tick though is the huge amount of gluten free options in the menu.

Lovely staff that always have a go. Food is standard but be hungry, big portions. Not shy of a character... or two and wouldn't eat off the floor but a honest good night full of surprises. A bit like Forest Gump's mum would say, "you never know what you're going to get"

We had a lovely time, food was nice and quick service. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Went there with group of friends for a meal. The gluten free burger was shockingly bad. The burger bun seemed to have been microwaved into a piece of inedible cardboard. Friend's steak came to table 'here is your 250g rump' - (but he had ordered the 300g rib fillet). Waiter quickly returned with what appeared as the same dish and called it the rib fillet this time. It was tiny...no way it could have been 300g and well over cooked. Fish of day was dripping in oil. At end of meal I questioned the cook on the steak size - and was told that's exactly what you ordered. On a plus though, the roast pork dish was nice enough. Overall it wasn't a great experience and we won't be back.

Quick friendly service. Nice to have reasonable distance between tables affording a little privacy. Attractive, comfortable setting. Wonderful menu ... including a choice of SIX!!!!! yes six vegan/vegetarian options. So nice to have somewhere to lunch or dine with family and friends that caters for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-intolerant diners. So nice to feel 'normal' rather than like a pariah because I don't eat meat.
Our group all loved their menu choices. Generous servings, nicely presented. Spoiled for choice with winter puddings, divine sticky date with caramel sauce. 10% off food Monday to Friday for seniors. What's not to love? Will definitely be back .... often.

Top place for a quite drink and pokies prior to fly out. Small area designated for pokies and away from the bar a bit. The dinning area is pretty big and the bar area has a free pool table to sink a few! High ceilings and open plan leading out to the foot path outside gives it a cool atmosphere 😎

Great atmosphere, cold beer and delicious food. Highly reccomend the 300g Queensland Porterhouse. Meat raffles on friday nights are good fun for everyone and supports a local footy club! Will be coming back and reccomending Lionleigh to friends and family.

Took the mother in law for lunch, was very nice 1st time she had been there and made her day. Good service great meals

The venue is nice and actually really big area with lots of tables, but the noise from the other patrons didn't seem to carry, so not sure what kind of wizardry is at work there, but it was actually really easy to have a conversation at our table.

Young bloke at the bar was really helpful and polite, ordering was easy as. I really like the idea of having a menu where you can choose from a variety of sides with the mains, which you can here.

Our cob loaf entre came out really quickly and it was lovely to share between the three of us. Our mains came out shortly after, ribs, steak and a chicken schnitzel. The size of the meals were a good size and the food was lovely!

Ribs were soft and juicy, nearly falling off the bone. The steak was cooked as we asked and was good. The schnitz was nice and crunchy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside.

Worth checking out if you ask me, definitely on my list to come back to for a nice meal in a nice comfortable setting at a reasonable price!

Beautiful meal. Haven't been there in years. Was sceptical. The service was good. Placed our orders once we were there. Ordered our drinks and then sat down. Five minutes later meals were served. Had to ask how they got them done so fast. The meals were fresh and absolutely piping hot. That's how I like my meal. Great work guys. Great prices also. Thanks for the memories. Easy parking on-site. Good service. I ordered the Vegetarian Pizza. The menu says it includes pumpkin but when it came there was no pumpkin. :(

The staff adhered to COVID-19 requirements and were very friendly. The food was really good, compliments to the chef. There is a room for children to play in and the areas were clean and well presented. A must for a good meal

Had a Kentucky burger for lunch was amazing . Spot on. Filled me belly up. Venue nice and quiet homie feeling Service adtend could use sum better training and customer service . Will prob be back for another feed. Everything is nice and clean. I highly recommended this place.

Good cold beer, the food was amazing.Our kids love this place aswell.The Staff are always helpful and friendly.We'll be back.We are going to every food venue in town and this is high up there for value for money and atmosphere.

Really enjoyed this pub. Meals are reasonably priced. I had Barra, chips and salad for $15 (evening meal). I'd go grilled next time and it was a plate full. Salad was good. Staff were very friendly and there was great piped music too (and I'm a baby boomer). Just a nice place.

Best customer service I've come across in Rocky. The guy was super friendly, polite and nothing was a hassle. Venue was clean and nicely done inside. Meals were huge and great value.

Steak was melt in your mouth quality! Great prices, awesome friendly welcoming staff. Had an issue with food and they were happy to assist immediately. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful beef and buffalo wings! Amazing service! Worthy to come thousands more.The second time I went to ordered Steak Sandwich ,I want vegetables instead chips and happy to pay exceed part,but staff told me what he can do just charge me same price then plus vegetable 's price , I was a bit disappointed about that , I still ordered side vege and still have the chips , but I was confused,even chips are tasty. Anyway,food is delicious,the sauce in steak sandwich for me is a little bit strong,steak is really good tho.
