Partner got served raw fish tonight. Even though he got offered a complementary meal, still very off putting.
Food quality isn't what it use to be, very disappointed. Definitely won't be back!!!

Had the delicious Tuesday night special for half a rack of ribs with 8 wings and chips for $35.

The ribs were extremely well cooked , fork tender with delicious bbq sauce . The wings were close behind being perfectly friend and covered in a delicious sauce . I had the accompanying garlic sauce and it made the meal magical.

Will definitely stop by the next time I'm passing by

Well its been almost a year since I had 1 of the most over cooked crumb steaks in qld and with a twist of the arm from friends im back to try something different.
I thought lets try a Aussie Parmy WOW not sure it was chicken as it had no taste again over cook for $28 what a disappointment . The kids had sizzle steak which bounced around the table like rubber the wife had crumb i think it was fish tasteless.
So I give the meals 0 stars for price and taste.

Had dinner at The Brunny for Mother's Day with the family. The food was amazing! 3 of us had the chicken parmigiana and my husband had the Rump. No complaints, everything was perfect. The pub was very inviting.
Overall, 5 stars ⭐️ and very happy with our experience. Will definitely be going back! Thanks guys 😊

Last time I ate an eye fillet I think I paid about $50 at a fancy restaurant in Launceston. I can honestly say the steak here was as good, if not better and $14 cheaper. One of the best steaks I've ever eaten, ever.
We also ordered a garlic bread and sticky date pudding which were both generous sizes and super tasty.

If you're trying to decide where to go for dinner, try this place out and order the eye fillet you won't be disappointed ??'?🏻

Stayed close by, saw the good reviews, so gave it a try. We both had 250 gram eye fillet medium rare, havent had such quality beef perfectly cooked in a very long time. Cost $31 each with a choice of 2 sides, an extra $5 for the coleslaw side dish. Very busy on a Monday night you can see why! Very generous size meals😋

Our new favourite stop in Rocky

Haven't been to Brunswick since about 2016. It was popular then for its large meals at great prices. Partner and I had a night out to celebrate in June 2022. Staff were friendly, had a nice vibe with karaoke and meals were as good as ever.

Not sure what to make of it not a good experience comes to mind.

The crumb steak touted as pubs famous crumb steak well i hope i wasnt eating packet potato .
Admittedly we picked it as a place to eat we should of picked up on the fact the locals who came with us didn't order any food to eat .

Staff were awesome and friendly. We ordered 5 meals just before a table of 20. We received our meals in about 15-20minutes after ordering. Every single meal was well priced, great sized and perfectly cooked. Absolutely would recommend

Ambiance was dated, outdoor was ok with misting fans. Prices were reasonable for food and drinks. We all ordered various steaks, and all were cooked to our liking. Chips were perfectly cooked, very crispy outside, mushy inside. All sauces were very tasty: mushroom, pepper, gravy. We appreciated that staff was checking vaccination certificates. Would go back here again.

Food was amazing! I had an Angus rump with potato and my husband had carbonara pasta. Both incredible. We couldn't eat the whole thing, it's so well served!
The environment is just like a normal pub/surf club pub. If you are looking for a fancy environment, that's not the place. But might be the food! Get a take away and enjoy it.
Service was good, we were always served with a smile and had a friendly farewell when we were leaving.
Take away containers are $1

AMAZING food - pork and rump were delicious and very well-priced for the quality. salad was great (more than a drop of sauce, heck yes), chips were cooked perfectly and mash/sauces tasted homemade. would have been nice if the service staff acted more interested in dealing with customers rather than us having to go ask for service, but would go here again for the brilliant food, thanks Chef!

Meals are amazing here! My husband and I had bbq pork ribs. Spot on! Better than ribs and rumps. We eat here quite a bit and every meal is as good as the last. Great staff, happy and welcoming. Cocktails are good here too. I love the cocktail list. Good variety. We will see you soon.

When In Rocky, the Brunswick hotel is a must to visit. The beers were flowing and the service was fantastic. We were surprised at the quality of the food, an amazing feed and at a great price also :)

I heard good word of mouth about the Brunswick Hotel during Beef Week - and we were certainly not disappointed.
All the staff were super friendly, great menu and outstanding service - nothing was too much bother.
Now that I know about the Brunswick, I will be sure to return on my next work trip.

Nice feed as usual when i come to Rocky.
But i will never come here again.
Spent $130 on meals then my daughter had to leave & charged an extra 50c for a take away container.
Hope you thought it was worth it as i spend 000s here over the years.

Caught up with a group of good mates here the other night, all our meals were superb, best Scotch Fillet I've had in a long time in Hobart, and the waitress provided prompt and friendly service. AND, they have Gluten Free beer in the fridge! So kudos to the Brunswick for having it. You've won me over!

Steaks were a little under done but overall a good experience.

Love the fact that the kitchen is open for orders till 8.50pm Saturday Nights. Not sure about every other night. The meals are always great. A good pub dinner!

Got the honey glazed bbq pork steak from the special menu and the first few bites were just bliss! So tender and full of juice and the honey flavour was exquisite ud83dude0d The rest of the steak towards the middle was naturally a bit drier but still delicious with the extra gravy that I got on the side. The chips and salad were on point as well. Highly recommended!

Servings are HUGE, tastes good. Really friendly service. Definitely one of the best pub in Rocky! nnI highly recommend their Surf n' Turf. So much in one meal.
