Clean room, good WiFi.
Good central location.
Lifts were being redone.
Bathroom in my room... the bath/shower floor felt like it may let go at any moment.

Food from the restaurant was typical pub fare.

I would like to give a huge praise to Carly from the reception desk. Carly was professional, genuine and helpful upon my Mum and I checking into the Leichhardt Hotel last night. Carly is a rare find in hospitality these days and seems to be a by-the-book, hard working woman. She was on top of the Covid-19 mandates and regulations and took amazing care of us throughout
the check-in process.
Also would like to say a big thank-you to the chef on duty for offering to make us a meal after service had ended.

Both of your employees are a great asset to your establishment and as a manager in hospitality myself, they are the kinds of employees a manager would dream to have on their team.
Thank-you so much again for looking after us and for your exceptional hospitality.

We booked a two-bedroom apartment but when we got our keys, our room wasn't cleaned yet. So they just gave us two separate room. My parents aren't too happy with it cos we I have two little siblings and the room they gave us has two single bed instead of the queen size that we booked. also the toilet that we stayed in wasn't very clean, and there was a dirty towel too. however, they have a very friendly staff.

Love this place stayed in room 306 and at 3.20am I was visited by 2 Ghosts 1 female very long ringlets old fashioned dress then a male apeared in a velvet waist coat and dark hair I think tied back in a ponytail I told them I could not help them and to leave and go away my partner heard all this and thought I was telling him to go away🤣
Apparently the staff when asked on checking out confirmed it's the oldest Hotel in town and had confirmed other people have seen these Ghosts ... The continental breakfast was good and the staff very Helpful... I've been told I'm a strong medium so I assume this is why they came to me.. They were not fretening in any way... Enjoy

The hotel is old and can be seen in the public areas. Carpets are tattered and with the walls and elevator requiring attention. With that said the room i was in, was clean and neat. The room was in very good condition. The only issue was the bath tub had a cra k that was patched with a bit of fibreglass and resin, coat of paint would have helped the patchwork which looked average.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. There is a complimentary breakfast with your stay at the hotel restaurant and there is lunch and dinner available for purchase.

The menu is good as well.

Staff were really the only high point for us. Would have been much lower rating without the lovely staff. Not impressed with the room. The red fabric chairs were gross (stained and one had something, food I hope, dribbled down one arm that hadn't been cleaned off at all). The bed had hubby and I meeting in the middle all night because you couldn't help but roll that way. Was excited the have a bath, but it was cracked so I gave it a miss. Bathroom had water damage in the wall and constantly had water on the floor from before we stepped foot in there which seemed like a hazard to me, I am pregnant and a little more uncertain on my feet than I used to be. Also, I have never stayed somewhere before that did not have outlets next to the bed for you to use for a phone to charge or even medical devices like we wanted it for. I dunno, given the photos used to advertise the hotel on the booking website I was so disappointed in the reality. I probably wouldn't have left a review at all if I hadn't had those photos giving me the wrong idea about the quality of the room.

Pretty good if/when the water works properly. Comfortable beds but the pillows suck.
Quiet rooms. Good menu. Very Friendly and helpful staff. 24/7 front desk.
Good price for what you get. The place had really improved over the last 3-6 months.

Food order was wrong, kitchen closed soon as food was made, no anchovies and prawns as requested in caesar, not offered refund of prawns, electricity went out in room and no supervisor to help so was relocated to another room, only one washing machine in working order and a dryer that you can't even read the settings that takes your $3 runs for only 10 seconds. While we ate dinner the first night some locals hurled abuse at the receptionist to call them a cab, then argued with each other the whole time we ate, no wonder we were the only dinners in the restaurant. We're placed next to a loud abusive couple who argued until 5am, concierge was alerted, nothing was done

Easy relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff, room service available for meals, large open area reception / dining. Comfortable room furniture with views facing east/west. Rooms tastefully decorated with cooking facilities included in room.

Very clean, comfortable room and central location for where we wanted to go. Would stay here again.

Con: the AC in this place makes it smell a bit... musty.
I've stayed here multiple times aver the last few years. It's a consistent experience.
Rooms are okay. Bar is okay. Ambience is okay.
The walls, doors etc. need a repaint. The place is tired.
The carpet has 'waves'... ?
The location works for me.
But honestly, they need to up their hospitality game. Checking in, I always feel like I'm a burden (always, every time, multiple staff members). The gaming room seems to be a higher priority than the hotel.

Ordered medium 500g steak came out more well done, didn't have everything on the menu for kids meals.

This Hotel is in a great location in the CBD there is onsite parking The rooms are comfortable and spacious with a reasonably priced mini bar There is a restaurant onsite with great food and a hot breakfast is included The staff are fantastic. I highly recommended this place.

The room was a fairly a good sized room but it had a bad smell and the bathroom was ok the bath was to high for my husband's back for him to lift his legs even for me who had trouble getting into the shower. They also so kind but still the smell got to me. I would of given it if it didn't smell like that and the worst part was the room had no opening windows or a balcony

One of the better hotels in Rockhampton. My son and I were in a 2 bedroom suite. Only one problem, the hot water never reached the bathroom in the suite so had to share the other bathroom. Not too inconvenient, just a nuusance. Otherwise very friendly and efficient staff and well appointed rooms.

The carpet was wet and sticky. The room smelled. It looked nothing like the website. Big red stain on the carpet. The Wi-Fi didn't work. There were no car parks. It was very clear all the money was used to build up the lobby rather than the rooms.
