A spontaneous dinner date ended with a new favourite dinner spot. The steaks were cooked to perfection, tender and tasted amazing. The Dianne gravy was thicc & flavourful! Salt and pepper calamari a must have. Highly recommend the Morrison hotel, sure to impress whoever you bring here. Dessert was to die for.

Horrible experience. Booked for a table of 6 and was given a table meant for 4 and packed in like sardines.

Order took over 40minutes to come when other tables that came later received food first. When steak came it was undercooked and cold. Ordered medium and it was basically rare. It was so undercooked you couldn't even cut through the steak. When trying to raise this with one of the waiter he just walked off. Absolutely ridiculous.

Thankfully another waitress helped us get the steak corrected.

Overall will not be returning. Ruined our birthday dinner. Some waitresses were helpful but one of the waiters need some more training with attitude.

I ordered the lamb shank. The vegetables were cooked just right and were delicious. The lamb shank was one portion. I always come here for the steak. I recommend the steak here.

We had a family gathering here and practically everyone ordered steak - rib fillet, Wagyu, fillet mignon and porterhouse. Someone was heard saying "I didn't expect it to be this pleasant".

The sign claims they serve Brisbane's best steaks. The group consensus was that 'best' is a very big call, but they were very good steaks. One of the highlights was the double-baked potatoes. When ordering a steak there is a choice of hot chips or double-baked potatoes.

Personally, I tried the battered fish and chips. It was tasty and a generous serve. The salad it came with was lovely - greens, shredded veggies and a sweet tangy vinaigrette.

The staff were friendly and helpful. There was only one glitch which happened at the bar. After ordering 5 or 6 drinks, I asked for a tray to carry them all. The guy grabbed a dirty tray out of the sink, shook it, and handed it over with crumbs and all. It was easier to make two trips.

The decor has many vintage nudes and bare bottoms all around, so I skipped the photos of those. You will have to check those out for yourself 😆.
