Two of us ate dinner here on a Saturday evening.
We found it to be a pleasant establishment, albeit not much more.
The foods and prices were reasonable.
It gets four stars from me because of the very friendly service.

Travelled to Wallaroo today for an 80th birthday and I just had the best experience here.
The food was beautiful, the service was great and the staff! The staff were just lovely, so kind and helpful and attentive.
The view was nice too 🙂

Great space to eat with the whole family. Service was excellent. The whole family enjoyed their meals. My kids ate the mini cheeseburgers, my wife had the crispy skin Tasmanian salmon, and I had the Scotch Fillet. The steak was cooked to perfection, the duck fat potato's were excellent, and I wish I could tell you about the carrots but my kids ate them before I could. Make sure you wash it down with the house lager.

Had dinner there with friends, and it is worth a 20-minute drive from Moonta. The medium steak and lobster tail were over cooked... a bit sad. But, the salt and pepper squid are nice. Kid meals are great as well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Oysters are nicer than the other restaurant that I tried in Moonta.

Stopped in on schnitzel night, schnitzel came out very quick but definitely not the best Mexican schnitzel I have had. Actual schnitzel was was fine but topper was average. Handy location if you are staying in the accomodation next to the pub

My hubby loves Cooper beer.
Had dinner with friends and was lucky to be eat early as wasn't as busy.
Staff were great.
I had veal rib eye with lobster prawns mash asparagus and bearnaise sauce.
Hubby had pork ribs and steak with mushroom gravy fries and salad.

Went back for round 2 tonight as last nights food was amazing! Beautiful slow cooked beef cheeks so much flavour. Pork belly was also just as delicious and OMG a the vegetable's amazing.

Staff were just as amazing to top it off!!

Last night we held our first educational clinical dinner for the York Peninsula community and I couldn't speak highly enough of the professional and friendly staff. We were looked after right from initial booking with Laura, to setting up the room with James and the staff were always smiling and happy. Food was excellent and the wine list was perfect, I highly recommend coming down you won't be disappointed! As for the view? Outstanding!

The food was traditional Aussie pub-style, which is to say not very adventurous. Not a problem though.
I had crumbed fish; my wife had Salt and Pepper squid, both served with chips and coleslaw. It was perfectly prepared, and quite tasty.
Limited but adequate wine selection, and well-priced.
Best of all, being a Coopers Alehouse, it had all flavours on tap, from light to XPA, and everything in between.

Excellent food and atmosphere, we have loved visiting here time and time again. It is a terrific. Venue and staff are amazing! Thank you Laura for your amazing service

Can't fault this place. My partner and I visit regularly (a few times in a month usually) from Adelaide and we never have a bad experience! Tonight just topped it for us. We had the rump steak and swapped our chips for mash (staff were so accomodating) and ordered the side of vegetables. Food was absolutely amazing!! Better than any steaks a pub we have in adelaide has had to offer!
Gravy is so yummy too! all produce was so fresh and our steaks cooked exactly as we like! Plump, juicy and all round a perfect steak! Atmosphere fantastic and we often look forward to our Saturday nights spent listening to live music. Don't change a thing at the coppers ale house Wallaroo! You guys are always awesome and food, drinks and atmosphere is everything we could ask for! 😊

Had the Salt n Pepper Squid (Monday Special) for less than $20, pretty much on point serving size with the option to take home if you don't finish it.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. I didn't have any issues with my visit. Would recommend.

Wow what a Great & Friendly place to have a meal & Drinks. The Beef wage brisket was so melt in your mouth, & the beef burger was made with in house patty so yum.
Then there was the house made choc cheesecake well you will have to come try it.

I decided to revisit the Coopers Alehouse and this time i took a group of people of various ages to assess a more. . Wider range of their new menu.
What a pleasant surprise.
Table overlooking the water, gorgeous day and a pina colada to die for in hand. Drinks all round and we were ready to order.
We started with an array of starters, garlic bread, cheesy garlic bread, soft shell crab sliders, halumi fries, aracini balls and more see the pictures and the presentation was just divine. 🥲

A steak was ordered and cooked to perfection, battered fish and chips and the best seafood platter ive had in SA yet!
It was the talk of the neighboring tables!
The scollops were tasty and my fave seafood hands down, oysters kilpatric and natural were lovely 😍 skewerd prawns were very tasty and flavoursome 😋
The calamari was plentiful and super tender, 2 large crumbed fish and a big piece of skewerd atlantic salmon that was delish ❤️ and the morten bay bugs were juicy and mouth watering, chips were served in a bowl and the salad also which both were of a huge portion size and very nice . . infact the platter is such great value and would feed 3 to 4 people or 2 very, very hungry seafood loving people. Could not fault the platter at all. . and the company i brought all gave 5 star ratings on their meal orders. ??'?
The service was fast, the staff were friendly Mike was a gem and the new menu is absolutly worth checking out.

Initial visit
We went for dinner as we were staying next door. We went and checked out the menu earlier so we could time our dinner with fishing plans.
Ordered the share seafood platter $110
The fish was delightful, calamari was nice, the scallops were sooo nice, the natural oysters were good, the Kilpatrick were disappointing, the morten bay bugs were terribly overcooked, the prawns were mushy hard to peel and would be better served de shelled, the chips had gone soggy and the salad . . Gross. . Tomatoes were horrible and best served fresh cut or not at all, cucumber was not much better. I cant see the point having a go and not offering advice. Perhaps a nice potato salad instead of chips (saves the soggy) lettuce leaf with coleslaw in the middle. . Cant get that wrong
It was not value for money.

Would you look at thay God damn Parmi !! ??"? I didn't even bother looking at the menu as 80% of the people eating had this gigantic Parmi so I knew it was the must eat.

The Parmi did not disappoint it was cooked perfectly 😋 I do think the salad can go and the chips could get some air time little bit suffocated by the parmi 🤪 and feel like the gravy should be included not an optional extra.

Also had the Korean chicken wings they where unusual but not to bad little bit over priced for what turned up would be my only issue.

The beers are cold and the service was fast and friendly there was no complaing here will be back.

Was a great venue, good food, great staff affordable prices and lovely views. Highly recommended Great service in an organised timely manner. Go see for your self. We went by bus and had no problems with parking. Excellent place to go.

I had popped into the Alehouse Wallaroo twice during a trip. Both times me and my partner were blown away with our meals, they were amazing! the menu had a great range of good food choices to suit all.
The service was terrific, staff always had a smile on their faces, they were all so friendly and were so helpful and accommodated us with anything we needed.
Will be coming back!

This place has fantastic lunch specials for $15 lots of variety and huge meals! Staff are super friendly and great hospitality.

The dining room views were so unexpected, we watched the storm roll in over the water.. such a wonderful experience.. we will be back Saturday for live music in the bar!

Great venue to have a bite out on the deck or have a more formal sit down in the function area.
Food is always fresh, well cooked and tastes great.

Not all visits to this establishment have been 5 star but this one was. Great food and service and an excellent selection of lunch specials. Good service and the lunch specials are really good value for money.

Good selection of beers. Good sports bar and plenty of table and chairs, both inside and outside. The food was plentiful and with a good variety, although on the expensive side. Modern good layout over looking the marina.

Great food. Great space, has something for everyone in food, drinks and type of area you want to sit. Friendly and fast service. Love the wood fire pizza oven inside.

Visited on Sunday 27th June 2021. Excellent location overlooking the marina, food was very good and reasonably priced. Good choice of beers with a Coopers lager at $5 a pint, cant go wrong.
Well worth a visit and we will definitely go back the next time we are in Wallaroo.... cheers.

Great view over the marina at sunset. Meals were very good including sliders, steak and schnitzel. Service was excellent and we just had room for a decadent dessert pizza. Highly recommend this place.

First Time to Wallaroo and stopped in for a couple of drinks and nibbles.
Very good, sat outside looking over the marina entrance.
Very welcoming, look forward to future visits.

The service was average - some of the staff were nice enough but some were very slow and just disinterested in customer service and being there in general.

Its a massive venue with amazing views and more than you would expect from a small Town in SA. Would have liked to give a 4-5 start review but service let it down a little.

Seafood platter for two!!!. We were both gobsmacked by the size presentation and quality of this feed. Have tried similar all over but nothing matches this. I looked sadly at the last piece of calamari as I just couldn't fit it. Shouldn't have had garlic bread . Staff a pleasure. A very memorable 50 wedding anniversary. Best I can score you is 15 out of 10. Will be back
