Due to circumstances beyond my control, I found myself in need of a comfortable place to sleep. I chose the cornucopia due to its location in the Main Street. The available room was true pub style and it met my requirements perfectly. Quite and comfortable and close to supermarket and other shops and well within walking distance of the beaches and clubs.

Had a lovely weekend in Wallaroo. Decided to have dinner at the Cornucopia Hotel. Ordered the Fillet Mignon 300g. I have to say it was one of the best steaks I've had. Cooked to my liking and a mushroom sauce that was outstanding. It came with salad and veggie bar which was fresh hot and delicious, including bread rolls. The staff were friendly and it had a very social atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Staying at wallaroo and decided to have dinner there. So so glad we did, it was amazing. Fillet steak was delicious and garlic prawns yummy. Vegie bar was so good. Highly recommend.

Great staff but we waited 1.5 hours for our meal. Would have been nice to be told there was going to be a bit of a wait, especially with kids. They were slammed so we get it but 5 of us ordered steaks medium and they all came out welldone like cardboard and the pregant one who actually asked for hers to be welldone; was medium rare I'd even say rare!

The atmosphere was great so we will try again hopefully when they're not so busy!

We order steak & chicken schnitzel - were very delicious. Good range of hot vegetable & salad bars available too.

Rating this five stars because it was a lovely dining experience. Staff were friendly, organised and service was fast. Atmosphere was homey and peaceful. The whole place was immaculately clean. Veg and salad bar was delicious. Serving sizes were generous and the food was fresh and tasty. We loved it.

Our family had dinner here last night, food was absolutely awesome, all the people really friendly and the beers were cold! Couldnt ask for a better pub!

First time I have ever seen a Squid Snitty with prawn combo and I feel in LOVE ❤ decent sized portion, not floury like other locals make. It was fantastic.
There was a nice selection of salads and cooked vegetables
Prices were completely affordable only $22 for my meal.
It was a lovely day to eat outside in the beer garden and of course the seagulls made their presence known, but were not intrusive. But there is street noise being so close to the road
The beer garden has plenty of grass area with a toy box for kids.
Located in the main street it is easy to find.
Plenty of parking available

Great pub for a feed and a few beers but even better on a Friday or Saturday night to get a little bit loose. Amanda behind the bar was 10 out of 10 for keeping us hydrated and in line and deserves a raise for her hard word. Highly recommend a night at here. Do your self a favour and pick up a Cornacopia hat while you are there.

We had roast lamb for dinner which was 10/10! Salad and veg bar was good- food all looked and tasted fresh. Service is very friendly and welcoming. We stayed one night and it's ok for that duration. The ladies bathroom was furthest away from our room so if you're ok with a very basic stay then this place is good value for money. It was only $80 for the night. The shared kitchen area was very clean and tidy. Heater worked well. Bed was comfy enough.

Had dinner here with the family last weekend and would have to say it was the best pub meal with the best service we have experienced locally and beyond in recent times. We enjoyed schnitzels and steak with a delicious selection of vegetables and salads. Sauces are complimentary and superb in flavour! Heating in the dining room was mediocre and the decor is quite outdated, but who cares when the food is that good. Will definitely be back for more...Big thanks to the chef and kitchen staff :)

They have really good service and very, very respectable staff down at the pub, The Hotel, Pub and dining room are all very clean aswell. They even have a dining room, which is amazing, amazing food for amazing prices $10 for a whole kids meal which also entitles you to a salad bar which has so many delicious hot foods and it has amazing seating, not crowded and the tables are farley separated, which is very good if you strugle with anxiety :) this whole place is a five stars for me.

What a fabulous hotel! Great service at both the bar and dining room; staff were friendly and professional. Music playing (Taylor Swift) pleased our teen girls. The food was amazing - a really yummy salad and vegetable bar made sure you did not go hungry and catered for all tastes. It was also dog friendly so we were able to eat in the lovely outdoor beer garden. A really terrific lunching experience 😋

Amazing food, excellent atmosphere.
The beer garden is really kid and dog friendly which was amazing for tired parents trying to enjoy their meals.
Could not fault a single part of my dinner ($20 T-bone steak and chips) had free access to the veggie and salad bar, everything was hot and tasty and fresh. 100% will come back and recommend to everyone I know! Thankyou so much.

These guys are absolutely amazing! We're so kind to us throughout the night and had the best night partying. Nettie was the absolute best and we loved her (she deserved a raise). Thanks for having us and letting us celebrate our EOS trip!!

Staff were friendly helpful and cheerful.
Felt very welcomed, dining area had plenty of room and food was served fast and was delicious. Definitely worth visiting.

Mixed feelings sorry Beautiful fish and chips so fresh and salad bar was amazing other Orders were messed up child's cheese burger ordered specific as meat cheese and tomato sauce nothing else Came out as burger with tomato cheese burger sauce and spicy mayo very disappointed 10 year old so little sister offered her the child's chicken schnitzel bad move hard crumbs So over cooked Last meal was supposed to be adults 1/2 chicken schnitzel we waited and waited then finally explained to waitress what was happening She was so apologetic but big problem She went and found outwhat had happened Found it and it was over cooked hard and so unappetizing Offered children frog in pond as a sweetener but really the girls were over it The counter staff and phone response was fantastic but overall not happy ???"

This is a wonderful country South Australian pub. We had a quiet family lunch there. We had the fish and chips, burger and chips and the home made meat balls. All of our meals were hot, tasty and came out promptly after ordering. The hot vegetable and salad bar was a real treat with a great variety of food. Well worth the visit.

There for dinner on Friday night. The front bar looks like it could be a bit rough-ish but the dining room was fine and quite busy including a big table of 20 plus. I had the half size beef parmi which was nice as were my mate's meals. Nice to see the salad/vege bar back and well done to the woman working the bar in the dining room and doing the meal orders! I'm sure some help would of been nice but she did a great job and fairly quick. Well done. 3.8 Stars

Went there on a Thursday. Snitty night $20 choice of toppings. Got the outback topping on my. it was beautiful misses got the steak cooked medium rare beautiful.

Family friendly hotel. Family owned and operated. You can certainly notice the little things that make this place an enjoyable stop. We had 4 great meals cooked and presented beautifully (pub classics but done right) good selection of beer on tap. We sat in the beer garden on a nice sunny day and will definitely be back!

I stayed here recently for an extended period while completing a teaching placement in the area. I honestly couldn't be more thankful for everything Dani and Aimee did to accommodate me. Everything about my stay was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom facilities were excellent. The staff were also so lovely and friendly. I always felt comfortable having a chat while I finished off a beer or enjoyed a meal.

My friend and I called here for a cold beer and a meal after attending Cavalcade of Cars. We could not believe the quality of the Beef &Reef meal we both ordered. The hospitality of the owner and staff was exceptional and the food off the planet!!! Well done to the whole team!

The renovations are amazing, all facilities are of a clean and excellent grade!

The hotel has undergone a huge refurbishment in the last 12 months. The Manager Dani and his wife Aimee are such good hosts. The shared ablutions are very clean as are the rooms. Very good value for money as far as pub meals and accommodation go.
The dine in restaurant is very good offering really top class meals for a fair price. Great place to stay.

Friendly service and great food. Had Garfish and calamari, which was excellent. And somehow the chips that came with it were even better.

Nice friendly pub restaurant providing good quality pub food at reasonable prices. We enjoyed our seafood dishes. Service was friendly and prompt.
