Great price, large sizes. Went there for the schnitzel special and wasn't expecting the variety. Great food, great staff.

We dined at the Anglers today for steak day special and my wife normally has tomato sauce where ever she goes and today Vickie delivered her meal with tomato sauce without the request and it just turned up complete. That is service above and beyond, what a great day, thanks Vickie, you made her day.

Stayed 6 nights, upgraded to a better room for the last 2 nights which was really nice for only 150 a night. Meals in the bistro are better than alot of pubs I've been to e.g the scotch fillet (cooked med) with creamy garlic prawns was absolute heaven! Desserts are very creative too. Staff were great the whole time??'?

Visited Anglers Inn with a group today for lunch. I chose the Flathead and I must say it was a great meal. Fish was fresh, chips were just right and the salad was really good with a nice dressing. Thanks for the great service at a reasonable price 🙂??'?

Advised to have a meal here by friends. Great meal and an excellent menu. I had three pieces of flat head, salad and chips. Best chips I've had in along time. It was the Friday special for $17 or $15 if you are a member and $5 deserts.
Staff mad you feel welcome, will be back.

DONT NOT STAY at the Anglers inn worst mistake I've made. We put in "best room" shower didn't stop running all night no number to call about it. Went to shower next morning turned tap up and water exploded out the top of shower drenching walls all my clothes towels ect. When finally able to get staff at 11 am they just laughed said they shift us to best room hysterical it was worse than the first room. We didn't get 1st mornings breakfast , eventually got $20 voucher to use there. Then had a fridgerated truck 5 rooms up running all night. When rang and complained there answer, well he's a regular so can't do anything about it . No sleep for us. We are 2 middle aged women who were treated as a joke. Every time I asked for the manager to talk to or for him to come to the room he would get a lackey to tell us he's busy!!! (No guts) He pathetic .STAY CLEAR

Lunch was very nice. Generous size meals. Was a little rushed when ordering and was pushed to the end of the line after being told to collect cutlery. So, we had to wait a while after being the first 🙄 to order.However, we enjoyed our meals and would go back again.

Dropped in for an impromptu Friday night dinner and it was wonderful. Great service, kids play room, lovely beer garden and the food was ample and delicious. Prices are excellent, inexpensive and the menu is extensive. We'll be back!

Anglers inn needs to improve their standings regarding customer satisfaction. It was obvious all parents at the private function were to interested in consuming alcoh to not control their kids running amok in between tables, screaming etc and anglers in obviously didn't think it was their responsibility to take control of patrons. Either way it was not an enjoyable evening. Size of meal was down compared to other times I have been here. Service was ok but I believe that's because they were under pressure still no excuse on top of this they could have quite easily closed the doors to the beer garden so the noise from the microphone was muffled. Very annoying trying to eat in peace and so called quiet.

I had a beef snitzle the chips and Diane gravy and salad, it was the best Diane gravy I've had in the Yorke Peninsula. The sale was absolutely beautiful and came dressed and the chips were wonderful I cannot fault the meal. ♥️♥️

I was advised to try this Hotel for dinner.
The schnitzel meals were recommended, so we each decided to order the chicken parmigiana.
We were all very impressed with the meal, friendly service and the clean comfortable dining area.

Great place. Nice meals, always taste great and cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. One of my favourite places in Wallaroo for a meal and a few beers.

One very delicious lunch. A tad long to get food due to a table of 12 beating us when ordering. The 'Legend' sauce on my chicken Schnitzel was devine. Will visit again.

Stayed here for the week for work, staff could not be more accommodating. Rooms cleaned daily fresh towels daily. Staff very friendly, helpful and down to earth. Great food, great atmosphere. Can't wait to stay here again.

Don't be put off by the outside, go in and have a great meal. Staff were very helpful and meals were really good. Large serves.

Great place to visit.
I myself found bed hard, bathroom clean, kitchen and living area clean. Only thing was wall bed was up against was very dusty and hand prints on a black wall. The meals in pub was great staff great.

Ate lunch here today and the food was AMAZING the staff were very friendly and despite being busy were still smiling. We will be back next holiday for sure.

Awesome lunch! Fillet steak cooked to perfection, crumbed prawns were juicy and soft. Whiting to die for, not hidden under a thick batter and the Anglers Catch looked as amazing as it tasted! Curry was amazing. Chips are always good. It has 2 kitchens in one, an authentic Indian restaurant that does weekly asian specials, and a typical pub grub side.

First we, my husband and I have just had very enjoyable stay .The staff is very friendly . Vicki , James and Daniel,in bar make you feel very welcome .Enjoyed food and service very efficient in restaurant . Will definitely come again

I stayed at the Inn on 22 Dec 21 with my dog and paid $100 deposit via my debit card which should have been returned to me within a few days as the room was left in good condition.
I am still waiting for the deposit. Their is no record that I ever stayed there apparently, except on my bank statement which the Manager has a copy of. He has been very unhelpful, rude and sarcastic to deal with and doesn't seem to know his own accounting system. This error should have been picked up straight away as their books would have been over by $100. There has been no apology at all. He has actually said that I have possibly received the refund already and that Im lying. I have now lodged the complaint with the Ombudsman who is following up on this matter. My advice to anyone intending to stay their with their dog is to pay the deposit with cash and keep your receipt in a very safe place. Or better still, go somewhere else! Needless to say, I will never go near this place again.

Nice, clean comfortable. Close to beach and jetty. Also just a short walk to cafes and shopping. Bottle shop attached.

We headed out to Wallaroo for the purpose of attending a family celebration. We decided to stay overnight and wanted reasonably priced comfortable accomodation. We decided to try the Anglers Inn and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are not glamorous but they are well appointed, very clean and delightfully comfortable. We slept soundly in comfortable beds with crisp clean linen. During our stay, we enjoyed a meal at the hotel which is conveniently located next door. The meals were excellent and very reasonably priced. They even have a curry menu along with the usual pub favourites! Delicious!
If your in the area it is well worth a visit!

Good food. Enthusiastic staff, especially one young man, delightful. Mix up on our second visit caused long delay in meals but dealt with courtesy and complementary drinks. Well done.

Stayed here on the 8/11/21. The accommodation was reasonable & for the price we paid it was well matched. Three single beds in our room. Air conditioning good ( hot & cold). Bathroom good & hot water great. Usual toaster/kettle & fridge.
Had a meal at the pub attached to accommodation & it was great. Lamb Shanks & Rump Steak for dinner & both meals were fabulous ??'? Beds were good & the accommodation served its purpose for the night.

Excellent service and country hospitality and staff are really friendly and especially bartender James who treats you like a friend and always stops and chats to everyone and he always remembers your drink, name etc even if only been there once (he's very good at his job and born for hospitality)
Accommodation is great especially for around the area clean and tidy bed and ensuite. There are 20 rooms usually and they range in price from $80-$110
They are quite busy for accommodation and accommodate a lot of workers in the area and are usually especially lately booked out on the weekends.
Value for money, friendly staff and good accommodation and really the only proper drive thru bottle shop which holds an extensive range.

Great food and a fun environment. Wednesday whinges well is great fun. Become a member it's worth it.

Well priced room...heating wasn't warm enough room was for 3 but only catered for 2....

Room very clean shower toilets clean would stay there again and highly recommend. Needs carpet fixed between kichen sleeping area as worn no reall issue tboughAlso be nice if you could sit outside rather than being confined to a room

Lovely folks to deal with. We were only there for the night but was a good sleep. Room was clean, as was the linen. The TV got local stations and we were very close to the Main Street, for breakfast the next day. Definitely recommend for the price point.
