Please deal with your security guard. Random ID checks when I'm clearly a 25 year old man, and continuously taps me during my session telling me how to keep my hat for "the cameras" . I will be making a formal complaint as well, and if this happens again, I'll require a meeting with the owner as I'm a regular

Your security guard wins. While I was let in the venue because it wouldn't of been worth me suing you for discrimination, your security guard needs to be way less judgemental. First asks for my ID, then proceeds to walk me to the door, because I needed to be a member? Then signed in to my doxa rewards on my phone forgetting I was a member and he was still going to tell me to leave? What did I do wrong anytime I've been there before? First time I went there I had no problems, but last night? What the hell was the go there. Just after midnight was the time I rocked up. Showed my proof of age card. (not good enough? It shows I'm 30)

I won't return. Not worth my time to just be judged for doing nothing wrong.

The management is rude particularly the Chinese lady manager. Whom makes you feel uncomfortable.

Too small, with machines packed in the corner next to each other like sardines. Staff were cold and disinterested, greeted them and got ignored. They would rather sit around and talk to each other than do their jobs. Gaming floor staff being careless - coming around loudly banging the chairs into the machines.

I really like this place. It has great food and great atmosphere. Tonight I'm watching the soccer here...

Haven't had foos there. After renovations, very nice, perfect location

Checked out this place . Was playing 2 machines as you do tine to time when urs not busy side to side . One the feature on both , got hunted down by a masculine woman staff member who was relentless in getting me to cash out of one of the machines and quite possibly for go a major she was relentless, circling round every 5 minutes like a hungry bulldog, frothing at the mouth minutes to ensure I retained the joy of only one machine feature. Ontop of that they advertise opening at 8am on google but really open at 9. They suck balls , what didn't suck balls though is the atmosphere I created ,winning top dog amounts on all 4 machines I played .
Recap , service was as dry as wardens humour but atosphere was good cos of all the wins and shellin out strangers.
Don't believe their poor digital customer communication , it's the 21st century, you can't afford to boasting of 8am opening hours when really it's 9am. I'd expect that kind of fault from my Asian friends parents Chinese takeaway shop , you how ever have no excuse , it's effective in the fact it makes you a crumb in the pokie scene .

foods are really yummy

really nice food. there are lots of meats and other side dishes to eat. Especially Japchae was really delicious.

The Meeting Place is a local pub and pokies. It's next to Melbourne Central and location is convenient for meet ups, beers, snacks and pokies. It's newly renovated and looked fresh inside.

What's the point of having security and staff members monitoring patrons in the pokie room when an Asian guy who was clearly sick was allowed to sit there and play 2 machines and cough for over 1 hour?!

Found the opposite of others here. Staff were more interested in being on their phones or chatting to each other. Doesn't warrant the prices for the beers ($15+!!) and super pokey

Small pokie venue to begin with however nke with even fewer machines operating due to covid. The layout is very dark & not a welcomong environment at all

I am a member from last 9 years.
Go there regularly. The other day security stopped me because I have electric foldable scooter. And same afternoon I went to clocks and they let me in. This place is getting bad. And they allow noisy Uber driver who are in and out so quick with Uber dress.

This is not a pub for members but it's a pub for Uber drivers who sit there and wait for their order.

Shame on you management
And security are so rude. Because they are casual and don't give a damm. And you never see them again.

Have to think twice before I look at this place.

Love this little pub. Staff are friendly. One in particular, absolute hoot.

A lot of people were born here. Haven't experienced the Yarra River cruise yet. Go experience it once.

Great free coffee, tea, iced water etc. They followed social distancing well but at the end of the day it's mainly a "pokies joint"

Very well laid out place with plenty of space. Coffee was nice flavored, however it was on the week side. Staff are fantastic.
