Tuesday night was the perfect experience for us. We had chicken Parma and the sticky pork belly. Definitely the great tasty pub grub we enjoy. Portion size decent for the price. Atmosphere was great not so noisy and not so crowded. It was a Tuesday night. So overall we enjoyed our dinner at this establishment.

Clocks at Flinders was such a great find. Nice areas to sit inside and out. Service always great. Have only tried the wedges and pork belly bites and both are delicious. Great priced beverages too. I'm a regular visitor now.

I've been there so many times for lunch and dinner. Always get the steak, veg and mash with mushroom gravy. Everything is always so delicious. The rare steak I order is always melt in the mouth. Never had a bad steak. The food is well priced. I always enjoy going on Sunday for lunch and watching Elise Courtney sing heaps of covers. She's so much fun to watch and listen to. 1pm till 4pm. Definitely recommend.

The weekly specials prices not as special anymore. I do like the food, though. Pictured is Lamb's fry & bacon with veg. & mash.

This place has improved since the old days. Food is well priced and we were happy with our meals. You can often find a duo singing out front which is great.

The Clocks pub is tucked away at the western end of Flinders Train Station overlooking the Yarra River.
A more traditional pub with a bank of slot machines and a gaming window to allow you to place bets on the dogs or horses, you'll find a range of clientele at this historic venue.
The place is often crowded, and getting good service can be an issue at times. But they serve good food and good beer at a good price. So, I'm not complaining!!

Don't be put off by the pokies ...

Drinks, foods (simple pub menu), live music and atmosphere are second to none in Melbourne ...

Genuinely authentic fun place to hangout.

Clocks at Flinders is a great spot to grab a bite or drink in Melbourne. Located in the historic Flinders Street Station, the bar boasts an impressive selection of local and international beers, wines, and spirits. The food menu features a range of classic pub fare and modern dishes, with options for vegetarians and gluten-free diners. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere, coupled with live music on weekends, makes Clocks a great place to unwind after work or catch up with friends. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, and the prices are reasonable for the location.  I am a regular for a quick callin drink.

Disappointing.
Ordered food with a group of 4.
One meal did not make it out until long after everyone else had eaten. 3 steaks, none were cooked to request, different rarities. 1 chicken schnitzel, chicken tasted incredibly off. I'm not the person to return meals, I suffer in silence like a fool. Got opinions from everyone on the table and returned it in person.
The drinks served are not balanced well.
If you're getting a mixer with your shot of alcohol, get a separate bottle of the mixer if you don't want something that's akin to straight watery alcohol.
Drink quality was poor, food quality was poorer, service people were kind and well-meaning to a degree, but sadly it wasn't enough to save the experience.
Sorry, I don't think I'll be back.

Post COVID Clocks has lost its soul. Managed like an old Melbourne night club. Don't have a disability, you won't get in. Cheap beer and great food, the staff inside are ok but get past security first. Once iconic venue now just blah!

Good parma, food presentation and good atmosphere. Service was not too attentive but it could have been because our table was tucked in a corner.

Cosy ambience, friendly service. One can become a member. Has gaming machines too. Limited menu though. Great place to meet up with mates. Very conveniently located outside the Flinders Street Station.

This place has really gone down hill over the past year. What used to feel like a busy but still semi spacious venue has now become quite claustrophobic in feel. The machines are up to date with a good selection, but with a lot of people in the venue there aren't many available to play. The only section that looked decent to spend some time was the dining area at the front of the venue as well as directly out front as these areas were less busy & appeared to be a lot more cleaner. The bathrooms had an one of the basins blocked off with an out of order sign, whilst the rest of the bathroom was untidy & looked like ot hasn't been cleaned for some time.. In saying all this, i had no problem with the staff here. Even though appear to always be busy they are still friendly & helpful when approached. Its a shame to see this venue take a dive in appearance as there used to be a welcoming type of which it os now lacking.

Amazing atrium of a room with a fireplace. Friendly staff. Great retro music. Cosy place. Nice for the oldies, too. Great pensioner discounts for Mum. They do love Oz Rock on Sunday - DOES IT GET ANY BETTER?!?

Seedy but iconic. Perfect for that quick stop off refreshment before meeting with those people you really didn't want to but feel compelled to. Sneak a quick fifty (the misses won't know) and then keep on your way cause you know your better then that.

Outdoor area is part of the footpath, it is sheltered but quite cold. The Friday night live music is fantastic and the people who drift in and out each time the pedestrian lights change or the crowd from a recent train pass through are entertaining as well. Dinner, drinks and coffee are great and at affordable prices.

Stumbled across this place, took a punt when we checked their menu and noticed the security on the door. Perfect location, friendly, affordable and great tasting meals means we will be back next time we're in Melb. Totally exceeded our expectations. Might be bit boisterous during footy season for those who want a quiet meal but we loved it ðŸ'
