Great spot for lunch - lovely views and a range of classic options on the menu at a reasonable price. Variety of tap beers on offer. Clean venue and quick service too!
We enjoyed tacos, chicken burger and the nachos. Generous portions, all fresh and tasty. Chips were fantastic. Would definitely return for another dinner.
Note there is a chair lift for those with accessibility requirements. However, if you have a pram you'll need to carry it up a fair few stairs.

Went there Mother's Day 12 May 2024. We had table for 6 inside but with a great view. Our 2 mothers got a free drink ,kids got a colouring book. We ordered chicken nuggets for 2 children that came promptly. The kids loved the big plate each. Our meals were great also. I had been here 3 years ago and can say the place might look a bit dated but inside a great space, long tables central bar We loved the place.

Great spot, lots of Australian surfing history here, but needs a bit of love, care, and conservation to stop it slowly falling apart. Staff and volunteer lifesavers are friendly and welcoming.

Arrived 10 minutes late for the lunch menu, were. told if we waited 20 minutes we could order from the snack menu, purchased $30 of drinks to have with our meal, went up to order to be told no sorry we are not doing snack menu today kitchen is closed.

Returned again this year to give another go, will never return again. Hair in food and burnt food absolutely disgusting.

Great view on beach, food tasty, killer Ceasar Salad, Salt n Pepper calamari,you could actually taste the pepper, out of all places we have eaten on the Gold Coast. Kids could not get through there meals, plus good kids pack to play with.

Doesn't get much better than this! Perfect addition to a day at the beach is a cold beer and a pub feed at Rainbow Bay Surf Club. The view and laid back atmosphere is second to none. Rump steak was cooked well, great selection of beer.

We've been going to Rainbow bay beach for around 13yrs & always pop over to the surf club for lunch out on the balcony & watch the whales out at sea passing buy... always great friendly service and lovely meals.. well done staff at Rainbow bay surf club restaurant... brilliant ??'?😊😊??'???'?

Worst meal ever. Table was dirty. Waiter had the worst body odour and greasy hair. Chicken special was dry and inedible.

Recently had a family meal here on a trip over from Melbourne. The view and atmosphere is second to none - absolutely beautiful. Food came out super quick and the quality/portions were great. Super friendly bar staff. Can't beat it for a good pub feed and view of the famous surf.

Came here for dinner Jan 11th. My 3 year old ordered kids pizza with chips. Got served pizza with corn chips. Confused as the menu states chips I asked the manager. She was rude and said no one else complains and had no answers. as was the blonde girl taking orders beside her smirking. I'd never go back there. Even the bar staff would rather wipe glasses than serve customers.

View is one of the best in the east coast, happy hour prices are epic and the tap selection is great. Food is very reasonably priced and good quality. A must stop on every trip.

Great local surf club at Rainbow Bay. Awesome beach feel with character, and the view is stunning as would be expected near Snapper Rocks. Took us a while to go there....now we'll go back anytime.

Amazing Views, Good Spot for a Beer. But Food was Average, (Chicken Burger, Chicken was burnt very dry - Pizza was Very Yummy - kids burger was good, chips all round very plain) Had to ask staff for cloths to wipe down our own table to sit, Some Staff abit Blunt and not very happy/ some staff very friendly

We booked a table for 5 people for 6 pm for a birthday this Sunday evening. Turned up and was super busy with huge line to order meals and no staff free to direct us to our table. We finally found it clearly marked with our name and time at 5.55, with two people sitting at a table for 6 who were still waiting for cooked meals to be delivered and were extremely rude/aggressive to us when we pointed out the booking. We didn't want to fight someone for our table and no staff available so we left.

Had an excellent club / pub lunch and a cool drink at the Rainbow - beer battered fish and chips, Rainbow salad. What a great view we had while we were there - all the way to Southport.

I went to go have an afternoon beer with my dad and was greeted by a very unfriendly girl who asked for us to use the QR code. This is not mandatory. We have been to other clubs in the area. The red haired young girl was very rude to me and my 75 year old dad. No wonder the place was empty. Respect your customers manners are free. No one wants to be greeted by such coldness!

Was an ok experience. Was annoying having to add vac cert on the check-in app. The food came out quick but mine was overly salted. Had to use 3 packs of pepper to try and even it out. Had the pumpkin gnocchi with "garlic" prawns. Was mediocre and have know idea what they think garlic prawns are as they were just boiled prawns with nothing extra to them. The bartended didn't know what a g&t is so had explain it to her. Charged me extra for the tonic. When the beers were poured she held it at the rim of the glass and weren't even poured to the top.
Some training is needed I think.

The balcony here overlooking the Snapper Rocks surf is absolutely sensational & the food is excellent too. One of the greatest spots on earth, awesome.

Step down, cross the Road & you are on the Beach. Rainbow Bay, Snapper Rocks. Views are wonderful & the Pacific Ocean is below the balcony where we eat.
Vacinations must be on mobiles with the green tick. Doorman happy to help with Check In information.

It feels good to be in a business & feel safe, where Infections Control is managed correctly.

One of my favourite spots to watch the surfers at sunset. I didn't order any food but if you're just after a cheeky beer and good vibes, this is the place to be.

Come to rainbow Bay for holidays every year and each time we visit these premises the service is appalling and never with a smile. Staff make you feel like your a burden for simply ordering a drink or food and that's when the place isn't even busy. We booked a table on the balcony for dinner a week in advance only to be told they had given it to someone else, then palm us off inside somewhere. The place could do with refresh in management, just to keep up with today's hospitality standards.

Great views of the surf break . Food is good ,staff are friendly. Nice place to spend the afternoon on the balcony watch surfers and people enjoying the beach. Parking is very scarce.

ALWAYS great ! Amazing views of the coast. Great vibe about the place. Food is always on point. It's Pub Grub but it's the best you will find around. Service is always with a smile. They never try to rush you even in the busiest of times.

This place has a great atmosphere and the happy hour is a great price. I have not eaten here but the food looks hood. Unfortunately the staff are not the most friendly people when it comes to bar service. Multiple times I have visited here and the bar staff continue to serve regular customers time and time again before visitors or people they dont know. I watched a visitor have 4 male customers be served before myself and her because happy hour was finishing therefore we missed out but the locals got in, the bar staff said nothing when I said something about it. Fingers crossed the customer service improves and becomes fair for all.

Always love this place and the kids do too. The view is perfection. The food is good value. They have a more extensive kids menu than some other places. Always such a relaxed atmosphere. Make sure to book on weekends

The five stars doesn't relate to a five star restaurant. It means that the RBSLC is a fantastic spot to share a drink and or meal with family and friends. The meals are delicious and great value. And you get to support a great club - become a member.

From where you would rather be... Pretty much sums it up to me. Classic old surf club with one of the best views on the coast. Great food and a good selection of beer. Not trying to be fancy and that has its charm. Just good old fashioned awesomeness.
