We had our son's 21st birthday celebration in one of their function rooms, and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. The food was phenomenal, and the staff were absolutely amazing!
They went above and beyond to make the whole event memorable and seamless. A huge thank you to Alex and the entire team for making such a special occasion even more memorable.

We had a great dinner here the other night. The food was delicious - slightly on the pricey side, but still reasonable considering the current cost of living. The atmosphere was lovely, and the customer service was excellent as well.

The lady who seemed to be the supervisor or manager was clearly very experienced and was warm and attentive towards the customers.

However, I did notice something that honestly made me a little sad. There was a tall, slim gentleman, probably in his 40s or 50s, who seemed like he might have been a newer staff member. Despite that, he was working very hard and was clearly trying his best to be attentive to the customers.

Unfortunately, I noticed the supervisor speaking to him quite harshly - raising her voice at him and correcting him in front of customers, seemingly with very little patience. Perhaps there was more going on behind the scenes that I wasn't aware of, but seeing it still made me uncomfortable.

It genuinely broke my heart because I couldn't help thinking about how I would feel if my own brother or father were treated that way in their workplace.

I really hope we can all be a little kinder and more patient with one another. That's how we build a community where people feel respected and valued, and ultimately make the world a better place to live.

If we choose to hire someone, it means we saw value in them and believed they could contribute. If they need more training, I hope we can give them the guidance and patience they need to improve. And if, ultimately, someone doesn't meet the required standard, there are still respectful and compassionate ways to handle that and allow them to find a workplace where they can thrive.

A little kindness and dignity can go a very long way. ❤️

Not a fan on this place. First time I visited this place 29/7/2026.
Ordered a Compa blood orange tequila can drink but it was out of date for a week.
Went to the TAB bar and tried to get another one not out of date but the older lady with blonde curly hair tried to persuade me to keep it and drink it.
I said I wanted another one but then she\'ll laughed at me for requesting another drink that wasn\'t out of date. Her behaviour was disgusting her mannerism was rude and she had no sense of customer service.

Visited this hotel for the first time in many years and was extremely impressed as this hotel has really changed for the better as it is now modern and welcoming. Attended a Carlton Football function here recently in the spacious entertainment room upstairs with over 150 guests. The meal was very good and the atmosphere in the room was electric. After this function we walked around all areas of this hotel and was so impressed in what it had to offer anyone visiting for a great night out. You should visit for a meal and try out their facilities as you will have an enjoyable evening.

We recently celebrated our wedding at the Olympic hotel and had an amazing experience. A special thank you to Alex for his outstanding support and organisation throughout the process.

The food was incredible, the service from the wait staff and bar team was exceptional, and our guests had a wonderful time. Everything ran smoothly and exceeded our expectations.

Thank you to the entire team for helping make our wedding day so special. We highly recommend the Olympic hotel for any special event.
