Absolutely BEAUTIFUL from the meal to the service team! We had the most deliciously fresh, gorgeous tasting Caesar Salad with chargrilled chicken - it was divine! And the coffee? STELLAR! We will be back.

Great hotel with a restaurant and several other bars to enjoy good food and great atmosphere. State of Origin, International rugby and Football World Cup were just a few of the games we watched while we stayed. Management, catering staff, bar staff and housekeeping were all tremendous during our two weeks, helping me cope with an extended stay due to my wife recovering from surgery shortly after arriving in the country. Special thanks to Tracey but all staff were brilliant.

I ordered the Moreton Bay Bug Red Curry from this week\'s specials and was extremely disappointed. At $60 per serve, I expected a quality seafood dish, but what arrived was far below that standard.

The curry itself was watery and lacked any real flavour. There was none of the richness, spice, or depth you\'d expect from a red curry. The Moreton Bay bugs were very small, dark in colour, and looked more like oversized yabbies than premium bugs. Unfortunately, they were just as disappointing in taste, with very little flavour and barely any meat.

What made the experience even worse was the response from staff. We ordered two serves and provided honest, constructive feedback about the meal, explaining that it was poor quality and not what we expected for the price. Despite this, we were still charged the full amount for both dishes and were not offered any form of compensation or gesture of goodwill.

Charging $60 for a special is one thing, but serving a bland, watery curry with undersized bugs and then completely dismissing customer feedback is another. This was easily the most disappointing meal I\'ve had in a long time and certainly not the standard I\'d expect from a venue promoting premium seafood specials.

Unfortunately, I can\'t recommend this dish and would think twice before ordering any future specials.

Booked a night so we didn't have to drive back to the Gold Coast after a local event. It was a great overnight stay. The room and bathroom was very clean and no noise really after 1am so sleeping after a night out was fine. We had dinner down in the pub as well, it was the best pub feed we've had in a while. Will be back!
