Loved it. Called in on a miserable wet day & there's a fire!!! Lunch was great & didn't take forever to arrive. The coffee was hot & so good. Great views over the reserve & heaps of space between the tables.
Shout out to Shelley & the rest of the staff for great service. Thank you 😊

Excellent food and a wide range of options. Only thing that marred our experience was a very long wait for the lamb shank that only arrived after everyone else at the table had finished but it was delicious nonetheless. Good kids meals as well

It is a great hotel to stop and have lunch when in the Victor Harbor precinct. Attentive friendly staff and good table service compliment ample sized hotel fare. A seniors menu and good specials are available. There's also a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Amenities were clean but in need of an upgrade and tidy up. It was busy in the gaming room but overall a pleasant visit early in the week 😀

A nice pub for a spot of lunch. They deliver what you would expect.

The food was good and we all enjoyed our meals. The menus are what you'd accept from a typical pub offering. There are also some specials and a seniors menu to choose from.

The pub is nicely presented, and is quite big, but does get really busy because of where it is, especially in the summer.

Great pub food. Kids meals came with a drink and colouring in book. Had a jug of ginger beer to share, no problems.

Went in with a large party on busy new years weekend. Friendly staff told us to sit wherever we'd like and we managed to find a nice table. We did get hurried along as they were changing the menu over at the middle of the day which was a little annoying but not a big issue.
I purchased a bowl of chips and garlic bread for myself and my girlfriend, we were very happy with the big bowl of chips that came out and lovely tasteful garlic bread. The garlic bread in particular was delicious, very buttery, strong garlic and crunchy outside with a soft inside. The rest of our group were also very happy with their meals and all of them found our table in good time.

Go here when in Victor Habour, A really good place to dine or have a few drinks , have been there a few times and never disappointed.. friendly helpful staff, well done Hotel Crown ??'' ??'? ??'? Had the best Lamb Shank and my Aunt had Garlic Prawns, even though were not on the menu the Staff and the Chef made it happen, again above and beyond to accommadate ..

Lord how i have missed a good pub meal! Well this exceeded our expectations! Lambs shanks.. just order them they are amazing. Curry = gold, roast = gold, kids meals large serves and served first with drink and games pack. We will be back!

I went on a self-date and loved the staff and the drinks were perfect. Not sure what the restaurant is like during the summer season but I enjoyed my visit. The food was great even down to the side salad.

We had a booking on a very quiet Monday night. Getting a table near the open fire on a winters night was a real treat.

We ordered the roast of the day (which was lamb) and the BLT chicken burger from the specials boards. The regular menu had a good range of dishes as well. Both meals were well presented and tasty. After ordering, we were amazed at how quickly our meals were delivered to our table. We also ordered a cheesecake to share and a cuppuccino for afters.

Bar and table staff were wonderful. Friendly, helpful and smiling! A great advertisement for the venue.

The recent visit was a major contrast to our visit a few years ago. I am pleased to say our latest experience was far more enjoyable. It was pleasant and well worth it. A great pub to visit when in Victor Harbour.

Amazing, yummy food!

We went on a Saturday whilst passing through and they had an all day menu, so many choices! Didn't have to wait long at all for our food

Overall good prices, delicious food 🍽️

Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience. Meals were cold and partners main meal came out 10 minutes after my main meal did. Paid $35 for a steak that was mostly fat and very chewy (cooked rare). Salad consisted of undressed lettuce - exciting.
Definitely will not be back during our stay in victor harbour.

Was in last Tuesday. Was very devastated. My partner and I drove from Adelaide to have lunch here. When we went to order they didn't tell us it was going to be a 2hr wait. We watched people order after us receive their meals and leave. Other tables not receiving all there meals at once and one person having to wait another 30minutes. Although we did receive our refund, was devastated we wasted our time. Had to go to Mac Donald's instead. Just very unorganised and won't be back. :(

Great food and good portions. The Food was piping hot and delicious. Ambience was great for a Saturday evening and the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Centrally located in Victor Harbour, the Crown is a must do for visitors! Lost one star for inconsistency in delivery of meals.

Great service in the gaming room. Was told staff had been there a long time which said a lot for the pub. One of the better managed Hotels in the group. Will come back again.

Always reliably good food, efficient service, friendly staff. We go regularly.
The only negative is, at busy times, it would be good to have someone take food orders and someone to either take drink orders, or direct drink buyers to the other bar.

Average meals. Cleared our own tables. Had a group of seven ( plus a baby) for lunch. Had a few drinks and a punt only to be informed that we had had too many. No one playing up and not rowdy. Never again.

Highlights: Great place to have a quality meal with your family. The food was well-made and arrived on time. Reasonably priced and compared to some other restaurants, slightly cheaper.

Lowlights: There was only person at the counter taking orders resulting in long queue!

Reasonable food and polite staff. Service was slow ( 45mins from ordering) and the free drink I was offered due to the wait ( customers who arrived after us but were served first) never materialised? Kids running through the hotel past diners by parents who allowed them to, didn't help the dining experience. Wont be rushing back!

Needs renovation...

Visited this hotel and was quite surprised that the interior still has not changed at all in last 5 years.

No craft beers on tap, all the furniture is forlorn and place is just dirty.

Service not overly friendly. Ordered chicken schnitzel came over cooked and very dry. Wife had salt and pepper calamari was nice but portion size was small about 6 pieces with a few chips and salad.
