Meals are big, buffett for salad and vegetables. Reasonable prices for today's prices. Atmosphere is nice, older style hotel. Great views of the ocean, outside seating as well on a sunny day. Staff are pleasant and helpful 😊

Rooms have paint peeling, but they are clean and tidy otherwise.. Beds are made and towels changed daily which is a big plus.

Food is amazing and is always a go-to venue for locals to go out for a quality and welo priced meal.

Enjoyed the chicken schnitzel which was cooked nicely. The salads were nice too. Didn't go for the veggies as there wasn't a big selection left but would've been fine had we gotten there earlier. Service was great - very friendly, smiling and happy to help. Don't recall his name unfortunately. Would recommend the Tassie for sure.

My wife and I had a fantastic dinner. My grilled King George Whiting was great, and my wife's Rump Steak was excellent. The staff are great as well as the service. Would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Pt Lincoln.

Went in for lunch and there was a huge booking and most tables full. We didn't wait long for our meals, which were delicious. The salad and veggie bar was stock up constantly and they even have soft serve icecream for the little kids (and the big ones too)! Definitely recommend going and trying. They had a good variety on the main menu plus a roast of the day and another lunch menu so had something for everyone.

We had the seafood platter for two. Absolutely ??'? % quality, quantity and value. Couldn't finish it all as it was too much. We visited 18 by months ago and came back. Thank you to staff too. Very friendly.

Meals are pretty much on par every time, and it's great that the salad bar is back. And then there's the bonus of having complementary help yourself soft serve at the end of your meal 😋

We had a great time staying and dinning at Grand Tasman Hotel. Great customers service for the staffs, and Mark the manager on duty. Meals are fantastic and great in value most especially the veg and salad bar. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again in the next visit to Port Lincoln.

Staff very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are well appointed , comfortable and CLEAN. The washing machine and dryer was a nice suprise to be able to do all the holiday washing.

Shared balcony is a nice bonus to watch the beach views and for fresh sea air.

Food is good and very generous in the restaurant. Nice atmosphere.
Parking is easy and there is a private entrance up to the rooms.
Would stay here again.

Delicious!!! Food fantastic, service great and atmosphere was awesome. Bathrooms were spotless.
Kids loved the sides station.
Only thing lacking is a kids area but honestly the kids were too excited about choosing their own sides that they didn't notice.
Do yourself a favor and head in for a delicious lunch or dinner.

Had roast dinner ... Absolutely the best pub meal I've ever had. The salad bar etc was just fantastic ... I will never need to look for a reservation anywhere else in port Lincoln unless I'm after a completely different meal like Chinese.. The service was excellent. Lots of room to eat.. thank you to all the Tasman staff and kitchen hands. Compliments to the chef.... 😊

I'd like to start by commending the exemplary service by the staff of this fine establishment! Despite arriving close to the time that the kitchen would have closed, they still took our order with a smile. The cheesy garlic bread was very cheesy and flavourful. The seafood duo was incredible, the salt and pepper squid was tender and just as delicious as the fish. The scotch fillet steak was cooked to a perfect med-rare as i requested, I'm proud to say that it was the best steak I've ever had! Deliciously tender and juicy, paired with an equally tasty Kirkpatrick sauce. We will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Port Lincoln! The only flaw that i would give our meal is next to negligible,but the gravy we ordered seperate was very bland and floury. Either way guys an excellent job

Visited Pt Lincoln a couple of days ago and a group of us decided to have lunch at the Grand Tasman. It was definitely a decision we didn't regret and will certainly whenever in Pt Lincoln will return. The view was fantastic and the food and service above terrific. All the staff who attended us were genuine in serving and communicating with us.

I have been dinning with The Grand Tasman Hotel for over 20 years and they do not disappoint. The chefs are always working at their best to create beautiful meals and meeting demand. The staff are polite and efficient creating an atmosphere to be enjoyed. Great variety on the menu and at the bar. With occasional live music and events to be enjoyed, I look forward to many more pleasant years of enjoyed dining with family and friends. This time I had Crispy Skinned Salmon and it was served in perfect portions that taste terrific.

WA visitors and appreciated the lower prices which we understand are offset by the pokies.
Kids meals - pizza and chicken were great value.
Adults meals - pie, roast and grilled fish were all fantastic. Tasty, hot and served promptly.
Service - helpful and prompt.
Venue, a little dated but you have the location and a loyal customer base who return for wonderful fresh meals.

Didn't stay here but ate here on valentines day. The seafood platter is heaps good. Decent value for money too. Deviled scallops are my new favourite thing, absolutely delicious. Also had some pretty decent cocktails.

Just visited for dinner and was very impressed with the food. The salmon was delicious and a very good serve, the chicken schnitzel parmigiana was excellent and the seafood plate was nothing short of sensational. The bar staff were very friendly. We would happily return and recommend to others.

Best hotel in Port Lincoln all round. $7.50 pints everyday, $16 express menu as well as ocean views from the front bar and bistro. Staff and managers are friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back!! ☺️

Had this recommendation from a friend, was super excited until I saw the seafood platter, oysters weren't fresh (don't understand how when it's the oyster capital of australia) the calimari was tough and stringy, "king prawns" were tiny, the fish was soggy, scallops were rubbery, for that about of money and location was expecting FRESH & AMAZING food

I had the steak & lobster and my partner had the chicken schnitzel with gravy. No issues if you want a fairly priced and easy meal

My partner and I thought we would stop in and have dinner Monday night and regretted this decision straight away. I ordered the "fish of the day" and my partner order a "skin-on salmon dish" with what kind of resembled a mashed potato type substance on the side. . My fish was crumbed and over cooked with little to no taste. The salad that came with the meal had a dressing that tasted like plain vinegar. My partners salmon was acceptable but the sauce that covered the whole plate was overpowering and the flavour dreadful which ruined the salmon. It's sad that with a premium price the quality was sub standard and would barely pass for a "counter meal" even at half the price charged. Will not return here in future.

Very big rooms, stayed in the exec suite, which had its own living room, bedroom and bathroom. Access to the balcony but unfortunately is shared with all other guests, this meant that some had the children out screaming at 7am...
Not bad for $150 but not many other options to choose from.

My family and I stayed at the hotel 3 nights. Service was great accommodation suited my small family. Food was amazing we ate dinner twice at the pub because it was soo good. The seafood was delicious and cooked perfectly.

Possibly the worst steak I've eaten in my life. Half gristle and inedible. Half was rare as requested, half was completely uncooked and raw. Smelled gamey, well past it's best. Put the chips on top of the butter so liquid by the time it made it to my table. Manager said "sorry about that, I'll tell the chef". Offered more food but after eating a third of that steak spitting out lumps of gristle, feeling nauseous and declined anything else coming from that kitchen. Chips okay.

What a dirty place. The hallways hadn't been vacuumed in months. The carpet in the rooms was at least 40 years old. The bathroom was never updated from new (last century maybe the century before that) it's was even poor for backpackers quality.
No way would we stay there. We cancelled our reservation as soon as we saw what they wanted to give us.

Fantastic staff, all very helpful & friendly.
Both of us had the seafood plate and it was excellent, could maybe add an extra oyster and a little less calamari as a substitute but overall very yummy!!! Will get this every time I go.
Gaming room is really good, front bar is awesome, would be great there on a weekend for the footy. Solid 5/5

Accommodation was abit of a let down though, really old n yuck. could use an update thats for sure and the beds were dreadful. 2/5

Absolutely fantastic. Could sit outside under cover with dog. Later on went to restaurant for dinner. Food and service very good. Clean. Gaming room available if desired and front bar great. All areas plenty of room. Also accommodation available.

Cheap cold beer, footy on the big screen. Outside heaters. The best views on the west coast.
