Monday night special was rump steak, salad & chips and it was excellent value for $24! Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Quite poor value - especially the Great Northern seafood platter. Otherwise it\'s mediocre and unimaginative food. Rump steak was supermarket weekly discount level tough! Have eaten here once on the back of the Google rating - now know that was a mistake. But the meals do include a complimentary salad bar - See if you can spot the actual salad in the photo...

Great pub food with generous portions. The salad bar was a nice addition too.

We ordered: Penne, Chicken & Mushroom - Salt & Pepper Squid from the Entrees and Light Meals - $24 Rump from the \'Monday Meat - Daily Specials\'

Went to GN yesterday. Ordered rhe Mixed Grill...outstanding. Not often on pub menus these days, but if you get the chance go the mixed Grill. Steak and chop were perfect and topped with Gooy egg. The salad too was excellent.

We visited because we were told this hotel had links to David Lynch and the Twin Peaks series. I think someone was pulling our leg, but actually, I think David would\'ve approved; it was brilliant!
Staff were super friendly and helpful and the Schnitzel specials were some of the best grub I\'ve eaten in Australia 🦘
Would definitely go back!
On Monday through Saturday, Great Northern Hotel is open from 9 AM until 2 AM the following morning. On Sunday, Great Northern Hotel is open from 10 AM to midnight.
