This has become my local and why they have won me over first off is fantastic attentive staff it's a simple thing that's neglected in a lot of local hospitality, 2nd up the kitchen, not the biggest fanciest menu but they deliver pub classics at a high standard and great value, live music and a cozy local atmosphere nice job guys

We arrived at around 7:45 and we were told that if we ordered quick enough we could get our food before the kitchen closed.

All our orders came out apart from 2, one was swapped with a salad which was not up to scratch. Also another meal was brought out wrong and when sent back it did not come out but was told the kitchen was closed. We were refunded

I had the steak and it was the most bland steak I have ever had. And for 40$ you would expect better.

The cheese on the parmigiana tasted like plastic.

The halloumi in the salad was not good at all.

Upon arriving we noticed it was very quiet for a Saturday night

Just like to give a big shout out to Danual, 26yrs working in Hospitality from glassy to Venue Manager to even running a kitchen in a large corporate umbrella, ALH. Danual is a old school Manager with a eye for detail, seemed like outstanding ppl skills and the ability to show Empathy, most powerful tool to possess, I have a feeling that he could turn any Venue he is assigned around with ease. If I ever come into money and buy a pub I know were to look for a Manager.
Thank You to all the Staff on for making my Visit pleasurable. I'll be coming in this Friday to try the food as a meal and not a snack.

If you have had a beer before going and are not intoxicated. They will not serve you as some of the staff. Have a power trip of your enjoyment . Always other places to spend your money.

I visit the Ferry Rd Tavern regularly to enjoy the pokies, and I must say that the experience is always top-notch. The staff members are truly amazing - they greet me with a warm welcome every time I walk in, regardless of the hour, and their friendly smiles never fail to brighten my day. Their customer service is exceptional, and I always feel valued as a patron. The atmosphere is inviting and the overall experience is consistently enjoyable. Me and my friend had this stake and wings stake was top notch perfectly cooked as we want the flavour of the mushroom sauce was immersive totally good service perfect to hang out with ur buddies

Visit here fairly often. Food is always pretty good and staff always seem freindly. The bar staff are always brilliant but Megan has made my experience here great enough to want to leave a review. If only all bar staff had this attitude. Thank you.

Great food, great servers, try the calamari. Sadly not 5 stars because it was kinda loud, there are dogs everywhere and the second hand smoke was annoying about 3 times during the meal

Great pub. Good meal, friendly staff and patrons. Reasonably priced and very clean. Spacious pokies area and heaps of screens for horse racing and other sports. 5 stars

Went for lunch today after not having been for a while and the steak sandwich and the CBLT was as good if not better than we had in the past. The crew were fantastic and a great friendly atmosphere so we will make the effort to go a little further from home than our local to get the best.

Absolutely LOVE the new Gaming Room!!! Superb Fun & atmosphere is Positive & Time to Win some Money...... yew!!! The staff are always a delight, although I seem to keep missing out on the hot foods so possibly double the menu... ahaha. The security guard is awesome and deserves a raise!!

We go to the Benowa Tavern quite regularly and we always enjoy ourselves.
The food is delicious and the staff incredibly warm and friendly. Especially Joelene who always makes that extra effort.

Have been drinking at this venue past 18 years.have made great local friends and with my mental health it's been a place that I can get away from. my fears but we recently have had a change of management and these managers have come in and torn it apart with there heavy hands of procedures with now care or compassion for their locals they just want a pub with no patrons.i hope with togetherness we can hopefully go back to a great local pub and rebell against the evil that has enter.cheers

Its a place where lifelong friendships have been made, third world problems solved and peoples mental health has been kept in check. A pub is more than beer and pokies. Its about locals who spend their hard earned in return to have a place to unwind in a venue where they feel welcome and loved. Your motto says "We support our locals!" My point being is locals also support locals. Its a given. However of late staff have been hired that are not supporting the motto this venue proudly advertises.
To the owners... You can have the coldest beer and the best food but if the service isn't on par soon there will be no one to serve.

Visited Tiana today at Ferry Road Tavern. Long drive from Brisbane but worth it, great food, great atmosphere, awesome staff!
Highly recommended!

We always go there for lunch on the weekend because the food is always great! Have never had a bad meal, the steak sandwich is perfectly done as is everything on the menu and the prices are excellent, best pub food ever!

Great local pub, packed on a Saturday for a great racing atmosphere, nice n chill on a Sunday for a few beers. Live entertainment Friday arvos, decent pub grub, awesome bar staff. Locals aren't too bad either :)

Love this Tavern. We often go before or after the movies at HOTA. The best cooked food ever. Especially the Steak Sandwich. Best one on the Gold Coast. Kitchen staff always come out and check how our food was. The Monday to Thursday lunch specials are great, just wish they were Monday to Saturday lunch specials.

Great service, great food, and to top it off even better service. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly. Only upset I haven't been here sooner.

Meals were great today. 3 of us ordered the $15 Steak off the Monday - Thursday lunch specials. 1 Steak ordered Med Rare, 1 x Med and 1 x Med Well Done and all steaks came out perfectly cooked ??'? This is also our local we eat / drink here often. Meals are always great and the staff never disappoint. Friday meat trays are always good fun. Special mention for Megsy and JD (Old Mate), please never leave....you guys make this pub great!

Best Chicken Schnitzel ive had in a long time.. Highly recommended this place. All meals were great. Will be back again

My partner and I ordered something off the menu they had recently run out of. They asked me to reorder. I ordered a steak almost double the price. They didn't charge me for the reorder and offered to pay for our next drinks also!

My steak was 20/10 and cooked exactly how I asked and service from everyone at the Bar and Kitchen as well as the Manager was great.

Amazing food. Excellent quality, taste and presentation. I have ordered many different meals here from the Eye Fillet Steak to Chicken Schnitzel. They have absolute consistency every single time. I wholeheartedly recommend that you try something from their menu. You won't be disappointed!

For the whole month of Jan 2021, everything off the menu including drinks are half price, so we thought might as well try it. Since, we have been there almost everyday for the past two weeks. Food was amazing, huge portion great deal. A must try: Mushroom burger, reef & beef, cajun wedges.

Lunch special was great at 15.00aud.
Good vibe in the place.
Pepper sauce chips salad and char steak included.
No drink minimum.
Will return.

Took a while to get the meals, worth the wait though. Staff were very professional and helpful. Great local pub with a good variety of food. Asian Salad was great for vegetarian wife.

COZY LOCATION

We had lunch at the Tavern on a wet and rainy day. The Tavern is situated in a convenient and cozy location. The design layout of the complex wasn't ever thought through. The meal area is not separated from the main bar or racing area. Potential for a very noisy meal when its busy. Having said that, we found the staff friendly and accommodating. The drinks and food were enjoyable. They have $13 Monday to Thursday lunches. I had the rissoles, mash and peas. The meal was enjoyable but left me feeling like a needed more. 3 rissoles would have been perfect because the two I had were average in size. The rissoles I had were made of very highly processed mince. Nothing like home made ones. Accessibility for wheelchairs and walkers is easy.
