Wow! What a great pub. Good service. Good food and great value. We had the Calamari lunch special for $17.90 and it was excellent. You even get two chicken pieces for free. We had highly recommend this pub.

Great selection on the menu for even the fussy eater. Awesome meal sizes definitely get your money's worth. Great family friendly atmosphere. Kids meals come with a little token. While you are waiting for your order you are also served complimentary chicken wings(honey/soy). Couldn't fault the meals. A very welcoming venue, smiles all round. I highly recommend. A place that you must experience in Bowen. Great job Bowen Hotel, keep up the great work. Our family will be coming again for another feast 😁.

Awesome service, staff couldn't have been more helpful! Food as awesome! Music a bit loud and not really lunch music, but that's ok! We'd actually gone to another venue first at Queens Beach? It was recommended somewhere but smelt like a men's urinal and slow service!

Moved to Bowen 18 months ago. I feel like rude and disinterested staff can really put a damper on the experience and have experienced it too often at other local pubs to Bowen! But for Bowen Hotel their customer service is number 1. Maybe it's because they are hiring local, long-term employees. Staff are amazingly wonderful, polite and cheery 100 percent of the time! Please keep it up!! Kids love the hang out room! The food is always good! And chicken wings served, while food is being prepared, is great!

What a fantastic resturant in rhe middle of Bowan, the Bowan hotel has it all. From a great kids play area, an amazing menu, to food that will leave you wanting more, this is the place to go. The whole family enjoyed the visit, everyone loved their food and the kids were happy all through due to the kids play area and free kids party bag. Recommend for families, this place will not let you down.

We had a great dinner here in our recent visit to Bowen. The staff greeted us as we entered and were very friendly to children. Staff took care with my allergies, making sure I had no reaction. The kids loved the playground and activity bags they received with their meals, which miss fussy eater had no complaints about.

Wonderful service, gave us free chicken wings. They actually have garlic cream which won it for me!

Showed up on a Tuesday night and took advantage of the 1kg of wings for 19.99. They wings were very tasty and they weren't drowned in sauce. Service was pretty quick and overall experience was really good.

Food at the Bowen Hotel is absolutely delicious!! One of my kids is a very fussy eater and loves the food here. The Chef and team are always wonderful and always say hello and wave when they see us. One of the other reasons we love coming here.

The kids meals were awesome and they came with a bag of goodies. There were also a playground to keep them busy. The menu didn't accurately describe which foods were gluten free but the chef explained which items were actually gluten free so I chose the beef salad which was delicious.

Not sure why they have a table number and you order off an app, then someone brings you a buzzer to let you know when your order is ready to collect. A great waste of time I could of walked up and ordered and collected the buzzer myself. Ordering off their app is pointless if I have to go and collect my order ? Oh they did bring the drinks over but not the food.

Guio was polite and accommodating.Service very good. Food great quantity. Lovely decor. Great quiz at the table took people away from their phones. Luke was a bit serious,but nothing wrong with that. Awesome family lunch. Chicken wings were yum!

Had lunch there today after getting married. Warren was very helpful, and looked after us very well. Meals were absolutely beautiful, prices are good and great atmosphere. Music was just a little to loud...Keep up the great work guys. A great day was had by all......Highly recommend.

Great place in a small town. Fantastic service, huge meals. We had to take a doggy bag because we couldn't finish our schnitzels. Definitely go here.

Only been here once, but was very impressed with the staff, service and atmosphere....don't even get me started on my meal. Hands down the best Thai Beef Salad I've ever eaten! I live an hour away, but will definitely be back next time I'm in Bowen ??'?

Popped in for dinner while travelling. Friendly staff, fast service, meals were amazing and the kids play area was awesome. Even the toilet was kid friendly having a fold down step so the children could reach the sink and tap

Another satisfied feed at the den. Finally got around to trying the big bowen rump, cooked perfectly. Compliments to the chef in the picture and thank you to the staff that helped take the photo. Had to take a picture of my steak fresh off the grill and plated. Highly recommended!

We come here every Sunday for a lunch of wings and chips (with their excellent pepper gravy!). Manager Warren knows our order and knows our drinks. When (if) time permits, he sometimes delivers to our table. Always happy to have a quick chat as well and he is one of the reasons we continue to come back. Two thumbs up, Warren!

Lovely food and a really clean place to eat with a great indoor play area for children. I would suggest ordering mains to share as they're lovely and decent sized portions, while the children's portions were small, so my children were still hungry. The children loved the play area.

Great venue and excellent service. This is my second visit to this establishment. Both occasions the service and food has been second to none. They actually had an issue with the table ordering system on my most recent visit and the food was delayed as a result. The extra effort to correct the inconvenience was well over what was expected or needed. Thank you.

Would not expect such a great pub in Bowen. Amazing food, decent sized portions, proffecional service and a great atmosphere. Top place when you visiting beautiful Bowen.

Wow. What a way to end the night! Had to wait half hour for my take away but it was all worth the while. Highly recommended! Compliments to the chef, Ken. Well done guys, keep up the great work! Will definitely be coming back.

Ordered a special, Sri Lanken Beef Curry. Fast service, delicious taste and huge portion. I have a decent appetite but couldn't eat it all. No problem, the waitress brought a take away box and told me it was microwave safe for reheating. Great experience, happy vibe, popular place for good reason.

Friendly service, good food, nice atmosphere. They really make an effort to make you feel welcome.

Slightly off the main street, this makes a great stop for lunch.We dropped in here a couple of times recently to enjoy the food and friendly service.While there's no play area for the kids, they were catered for both on the menu and with some colouring-in activities.Food was good, prices reasonable and rest rooms kept in a tidy state. Theres no reason why we wouldn't come back again.
