It was our first time going for lunch at a bowls club and we left not disappointed. Service was good, the atmosphere was great, got to watch little bit of lawn bowls being played outside. The lunch we ordered came in good time and the food was delicious had fish and chips, fish of the day and chicken parmigiana chicken salad, seafood plate and later we had dessert, mud cake (big slice) with ice-cream and apple crumble (also big serving) with ice-cream we all enjoyed our lunch and left satisfied. Prices were good, service was good. Will plan to visit again if we're out these ways again.

Went here tonight for a good club meal for mums 82nd birthday. The staff were so lovely and friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was terrible. The roast chicken was so overcooked and dry and mine was served early in the night, the chips were good the coleslaw was nice. The Peking duck spring rolls, what a laugh, I don't think they'd been waved near a duck. Mums 'fillet of fish in xxxx beer batter was not a beer batter or crisp but soggy and the fish was meh 🫤 my husbands gourmet meatballs were some of the densest meatballs I've seen for $20 served with a meh mash and frozen peas corns and carrots. I ate some of my food cause I was really hungry but so much was wasted. To top it off our drinks (soft drinks) were $5 a glass wow! Poor mum, the food was actually on par with her nursing home food and I had really wanted to treat her to tasty, crispy nice food tonight.

I was thoroughly disgusted by our meals here tonight (16/09/2024). We had bacon and cheese garlic bread, Peking duck spring rolls, fish and chips, roast chicken, and the ,'gourmet' rissoles
The bacon and cheese garlic bread was actually OK but it was all downhill from there. The fish, which was supposed to be beer battered, was gummy, doughy, and generally flavourless. The chicken was very dry. The 'gourmet' rissoles were disgusting, rubbery and flavourless the Diane sauce served with them bore no resemblance to Diane sauce whatsoever. The Peking duck spring rolls showed little or no sign of containing any duck at all, let alone Peking duck. When I asked what made the gourmet rissoles 'gourmet' I was told "oh, that's just what we call them". They do not serve juice by the jug here, obviously in order to charge outrageous by the glass prices. A glass of lemonade and two glasses of pineapple juice cost $16.50. Avoid this place like the plague is my best and only advice.

Very disappointed with our experience at the Bowls club tonight. My husband & I went there for dinner & my order was completely wrong (I ordered the pork cutlet meal but I received a chicken parmigiana meal instead). I went to the bar to inform one of the staff of the mistake & was told they'd speak to the manager & get back to me. My husband finished his meal & we waited for another 30 minutes but no one came to rectify the mistake so we left, very disappointed at paying $30 for some chips & 2 slices of pineapple (what I ate). We won't be going back.

My compliments to the chef! I had cheesy garlic bread and wings for starters, the award winning chicken parmigiana for main and the warm brownie and ice cream for dessert. I would highly recommend for anyone who's looking for restaurant quality food that is worth your money! Everything was reasonably priced and you do not leave hungry. An absolutely delicious menu!

Got the parmi here and for $12 it was pretty tasty.
Wish they had added a bit more tomato paste to it though.
The coleslaw on the side was meh, but overall it was a good feed for the price.

In reply to owner: The coleslaw had big chunks of white cabbage the unpleasant tough part and had a vinegar taste, also not enough carrot.

I'm not sure what your chef is doing with your vegetables on your meals but it needs addressing as they taste like they have reheated in dishwater. Are they just reheated from the meal service previously?? Honestly ruined my meal.

The bowls club is always busy so service can be a bit slow at times. The food is good, tasty and they serve big portions. Typical bowls club that has benefitted from renovations. The staff are always friendly.

The staff make it worth going to, they are so friendly and always seem to go above and beyond. Special shout out to Belinda in the restaurant, she's always smiling and extremely attentive to what people need. Food is good value for money and tastes good!

Recently celebrated my 50th birthday and accommodated approx 80 guests. The venue was so good in helping me plan for this event and very accomodating to my choice of entrainment and being an 18+ event only. The event coordinator was easy to communicate with and so very helpful and fully on board right make my night great one. The food trays ordered was delicious and the pricing reasonable. Thank you so very much again for making my night a memorable one.

Meal sizes were great. Tasted bonza. Had an old chooks birthday there. We enjoyed ourselves.

The food was yummy but stone cold. We had the chicken parmi the chef was getting annoyed because he kept ringing the bell (must have rang the bell at least 8 times) and not one staff member came to collect and hand out the orders. About 15 minutes later a staff member finally came and collected the meals but by that time the chips and Parmi were already stone cold. I understand it gets busy during lunch but at least have one staff member not ignoring the bell and hand out the dishes as close to being cooked as possible so then the food is still hot. We were not the only ones, we could also hear the other patrons that had their dishes served to them mumbling to each other that the food was cold when they received theirs too. Apart from this the Parmi's were yummy and we would recommend. Cheap and yummy Parmi for 12.00. EVERYDAY you can't beat it :) this incident will not stop us from going back.

Reasonably new to the area, first time lunch, nice venue, welcoming, OK service but the food was terrible. Calamari, chips & slaw. Presentation was poor, calamari was mush & the slaw runny & underwhelming. My experience doesn't appear to compare to other reviews ? Happy to give it another go

Tonight we ate chicken schnitzel with coleslaw and chips and we rate our meal being a sound 8 as gravy is no longer free but seriously you can't beat that price Thank you Beenleigh Bowls Club. Hands down a really great meal and awesome staff I would recommend Schnitty all day 😀

A great place , cheap beverages and great meals. We had their lunch time specials $14.00 each and a large meal. Staff were friendly. Today was very busy at lunch time but the meals and service was great.

I've been to the Beenleigh Bowls Club a few times now, and I've always had a great experience. The food is always super quick and delicious, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere has always been good.

I've tried a few different meals from the menu, and they've all been great. The steak is cooked perfectly, the parmi's are fresh and flavorful, and the salads are huge and satisfying.

The staff are always friendly and attentive, and they're always happy to make recommendations. They're also very accommodating if you have any dietary restrictions.

Went there for a bowls tournament. Had a great time and at the finish we had a seafood day. Heaps of prawns and also a fish, salad, chips and other food for lunch. Nice service and the bowling greens were excellent.

Delicious! We all ordered the dinner special (Reef & Beef). The steak was cooked well and to our liking, medium rare. Chips & coleslaw also good. Served with 4 very big prawns and a creamy sauce. Absolute bargain and came out really quickly. Staff are always delightful and deserve a raise!

Great place to go for lunch or dinner. The staff are really welcoming and friendly. The food was really tasty and the drinks were affordably priced. There is plenty of seating around. They have a good sports area with plenty of screens also. Great place to bring the family. The place is kept clean even though it looks a little old on the outside. Plenty of parking opposite the bowls club also.

Good food, facilities and environment.

However, I attained Certificate III in Hospitality with a trainer there, did my 36 shifts over there, as a work experience trainee with OCD. Most of the staff and customers treated me with respect, but three female Aussie staff members, or waitresses treated me with discrimination (Julia Smith was one of them).

I visited for an event but decided to have lunch. The meal was lovely. The price great. The service was ok considering they were very busy but the staff were brilliant!

Went to lunch with friends for my Birthday here n it served a nice lunch n I had a wine. Also had Cheesecake with lashings of cream n a cappacino.

Place looks great. Food was a little lacking $25 for a lamb shank and garlic mash. Mash was not real potatoes. Tasted like hospital food.

I had the $10 lunch parmy twice there now. Its a good size, very tasty and is served to you very quickly, which is exactly what you want at lunch time.

Love it here, always great hospitality and a decent cheap feed. Kids love it and it's just a chilled out hidden gem for a great dinner when you can't be bothered cooking!

Spoke to Simon on the ph to make a booking. Super easy and quick. Lunch was delicious, generous serving and very well priced. The lady serving us (Bridgette) was very sweet. Thank you for the great feed and service. We will be back.

Went here for lunch with friends, casual surroundings, friendly staff. nothing was too much trouble. the meals were perfect steak cooked to perfection with creamy garlic mash and yummy gravy and edible veggies. Hat off to the chef! Highly recommend. Social distancing and COVID-19 precaution were followed but you were made to feel welcome never the less. Thank you to all the staff who made our afternoon pleasurable.

The food is nice, good atmosphere at times, you cant here the sports on tv, and you might feel more welcome if the bar staff served patrons more and were happier and less talking between themselves...

Ambience at the dinning room is not the best. It was a much better dinning experience 2 or more years ago before the fire. The food or banquet was more affordable and keeps us coming back. The food now is too pricey for what it is. Lamb shank was delicious but $26? The Barramundi meal $26 is hardly worth trying. No wow factor. The local fish and chip would fair better. The vegetable lasagne was the best value for money $12. Tasty and good portion. Mashed potatoes tasted artificial or rubbery texture? Sorry, quality didn't meet my expectations.
