Very nice place. Cheaper drinks than most places. Food is great. Staff very helpful

My partner and I have eaten at Royal several times and it's always been fantastic and the service is good

Bistro is clean and spacious, easily accessible. Staff were friendly when taking our order. We had the steak special with chips. There's a children's play area next to the bistro, easy to keep an eye on the kids while enjoying a meal. Would recommend.

We were at the Imperial Hotel across the street and asked about food but apparently they advertise a bistro but don't serve food. They pointed us across the road at this place.

Food was not good, I had barbecue pork ribs, sauce just poured on top, cold underneath, slaw very chunky. Hubby had steak and enjoyed his. Service was good.

Came in for dinner tonight, the food was absolutely amazing and the service from Kaleb and harry was superb. Thanks boys, will see you's in a couple weeks for another great feed.

The food was fantastic, I ordered the rump steak for myself, and it was perfectly medium rare, my compliments to the chef. The team member named Ash was extremely impressive. A big personality with excellent customer service and a playfulness that made our day. After a heavy and uncomfortable memorial for a beloved family member, the staff, especially Ash, were pivotal in rounding out our day with light-heartedness and fun. Thank you, Royal Hotel, and thank you, Ash. You were lovely.

Ash was awesome, the other 2 staff members were not so great.
I enjoyed the food and had a great evening.
Just wasn't too impressed with the 2 staff who looked like they would rather be anywhere else but here.

We've been here before and it was great. Food was worth the money, service was great, kids play area too. Friendly cosy environment.

This time round we noticed a few things missing off the menu. For example no more Korean fried chicken. We ordered and were told a few things aren't available Rump Steak, so my husband opted for the Eye fillet instead. Dessert the mud cake wasn't available. Also noted the steak sandwich now doesn't include the bacon and egg. Those are add on options now.

The meals did take a while to come out, they were decision though. The server on Sunday 19/11/2023, she was lovely and looked like the only one tending to all the tables and peoples needs. She was great, and should be acknowledged for her customer service skills.

We were seated towards the door where the smokers were huddled - every time the door opened (which was often) we got a big hit of smoke.
Christmas pork ran out, servers brought out beef - no communication about that before hand. Beef was quite tough and barely warm.
Stuart and Kaleb were very friendly.

We've only just rocked up, we like the music and it's not too loud which is great!

It was so hot, felt a breath of cold air hit us as we walked past. So we decided to check out the venue and ended up having an awesome time. Great staff and lovely venue ??'?

Worst lunch experience ever. Booked a table for lunch15people (18th February) so hotel knew about it. The length of time from getting our first meal till the last was at least 30mins. It worked out that one person only at a time was eating. It would have been nice to have eaten all together. What made it worse it was my grandsons birthday and they had travelled from Caloundra, so save me the trip up there. You really embarrassed me for recommending your hotel. NEVER Again. Plus food was average and a medium to raw steak is not well done.

We have moved into the area and have fallen in love with the Meals. Ribs, steaks and schnitzels are our favourites. An amazing menu with A+ food and very friendly service.

Partner found a sticker in her salad took it back up the person behind the bar put his hand in her salad to take it out and after she said she didn't want something that his fingers had been all over he took it away and they offered nothing. She had only just started eating when she found it so the plate was still pretty much full.

I've stopped in for a random lunch. I ordered a chicken parmigiana. It was really good. Wasn't dried out or over cooked. The salad was fresh. I'm happy to have stopped here.

2 stars is for the staff they were lovely.
The ribs were very plain, it was like they precooked the ribs and just wiped a teaspoon of bbq sauce over it. The kids burger was quite sad, it only had half a patty on it. For the roast meal, the meat was tough and grizzly and a bit more veg would've been nice.
I don't ever complain I'm not a Karen haha but it really did suck for a Father's Day lunch.
The beer was good though :)

Nothing beats that refreshing Coca-Cola. Good Service & Kids play area. Great for the family dinner.

The staff were super friendly, food was yummy and brought out fast. The garlic bread was the best I've had in a long time, and the cocktail was just what I needed after a long day at work! Very family and budget friendly, my kids loved the kids menu, and included dessert.

We enjoy visits to the Royal hotel for meals and a quiet drink. The meals are always delicious and the service is fast and friendly. Recommend that you drop in for a meal and try them yourself.

My friend and I just called in for something to eat. The roast was delicious. Well cooked and presented. Love your staff. Nothing was too hard for them. Looking like you have a happy workplace. I'll be back

Amazing friendly service! Both the staff members named tee were super fun and outgoing! The 300g rib fillet was a beautiful cut and really nicely cooked.

An ordinary little pub, but the staff really shine. My companion and I were both taken in by how lovely and cheerful two staff members were in particular. Both of them named Tee just to make it easy to remember! We will definitely be back. Food is good too!

Always good for lunch or dinner. Not usually over crowed so never really have any issues getting a table at short notice. Great tasting food and family friendly never disappointed.

Had lunch as a group of Seniors. Seniors meals were an ample size and all very tasty. The $3 add on dessert was lovely. Pleasant surroundings and a bit of fun with our Christmas crackers.

Went for dinner last night and was quite disappointed. Greeted at the door (by Heaven) and asked for our ID to sign in and that was it. We had never been before and was unsure of how it worked. Did we seat ourselves? I had made a booking, who were we meant to ask about it? Headed up to the counter and stated we had made a booking, which I didn't need to worry about as no table was reserved for us. We were told there were only big table available which was fine. Manager gave us our cutlery and she put them on the bench in a puddle of spilt beer so we had wet napkins. Both our meals were overcooked and no one came to check. Our plates were cleared without a word said to us. We tried to get a managers attention but they were to busy talking to her colleagues which was very easily heard where we were sitting. A conversation that should've taken place out the back. Another manager was just complaining about how long she had been working that day and wanted to go home. Shoutout to Corey who was nothing but accommodating, working hard while his supervisors stood around talking.
