Budget steak quality, full of sinu at premium price. Had rump steak - very disappointed. Went back and thought that maybe the more expensive rib fillet would be better - unfortunately not. Other menu options are ok though. Nice clean dining area and amenities. Staff are friendly.

Great pub lot\'s of food choice\'s we went a few times caught the curtsey bus both way\'s. The driver\'s were a lot of fun. Staff were friendly would recommend if your after good pub food. On our last night the roast chicken x3 wasn\'t the best but all other meals were great.

Came here with my partner and his grandfather who we were up to visit all the way from Brisbane. This place is run by a great management team and it truly reflects in their service! We really enjoyed the food and trivia night, was a lovely addition to our stay! Thanks guys

definitely recommended! .. you felt welcome from the moment you step inside! .. it was a busy night but we still got a table with quick service! .. good selection of seating choices (inside & outside on veranda deck area) .. there is a great selection on the menu! .. the salmon was delicious! .. worth a visit!

I really enjoyed our time at Bargara Lakes Tavern last night. We decided to go here after we saw their chicken parmi\'s online. Suffice to say it, they are worth it!

We ordered two parmi\'s, one hangover with ribs topper and one cream garlic prawns. Both were fantastic. Chicken was crumbed and cooked well, decently thick, crunchy crumbling and a big portion. The toppings were just as great with the hangover toppings being golden and crispy.

I was also surprised by the pork ribs topper which were only an extra 10 and were pretty good for tavern ribs, though were a touch dry, but still tasty. You could definitely tell they were slow cooked by the tenderness of the meat which I enjoyed.

The only two nitpicks I had were the bugs/mosquitos in the outdoor area, and the size of glass my rum and coke was served in was really small. Maybe the latter is normal though for the tavern/area?

Otherwise this is definitely a great and worth the stop. Really enjoyed the food and staff are friendly. These parmi\'s are definitely worth a try if you are in the area.
