Great location and food. Kids/teens can enjoy the Outdoor area with soccer and basketball hoop. Good quality food in bistro and serving staff are fantastic.

I rarely review but I feel that there's been a couple of staff members at the sports club that have provided exceptional customer service to me and my team (we play pool there on a Wednesday) on such a consistent basis that I wanted them to be publicly recognised for what they do, it is a hospitality industry they work after all in and sadly I feel that can be overlooked too often. So thanks to the team at the sports club as a whole but particularly Donna, Cathy, gabby and Kobe always go over and above with their friendliness and service and as a business owner myself, I notice they're always doing something which is what I look for in my staff. Keep up the good work ladies and thank you

Nice place. I take my elderly mum there every month, to join her friend for lunches. The place are suitable for elderly, with accessibility facilities. The restaurant & staff are very nice, on a nice sunny day we can sit outside. Or book one of the table in conservatory, the whole restaurant has a very bright & open feel. The menu catered to all taste & price are reasonable.

Great welcoming atmosphere and a great band. I forgot to mention the free shuttle bus service. Saved me $40 which will gladly put back into this wonderful club! Just saying.

Monday seafood platter is brilliant and good value. Great staff. Seafood pasta is also great. Heaps of outdoor for kids to run

I went here for a private function. The room was good but the deck area was excellent. We had perfect weather that evening so hardly anyone stayed inside.

Only letdown was a grumpy staff member behind the bar.

The music room was packed.

My friends and I enjoyed a very nice meal there this evening....I have not been to this bistro for many years and am pleasantly surprised that the meals are quite tasty and freshly cooked. Will definitely be coming back soon...The only annoying bit was the music was on full blast and it was really hard to have a conversation hence the 4 star rating.

Today l decided as driving past ASC go and drop in, perhaps have lunch.
Greeted by very polite & friendly staff member Jerome in Bistro.
From then until leaving, Jerome was a gentleman & it showed he takes pride in his job.
All tables so clean. No need to ask for water, put on table as l arrived. Got to tell Jerome that l appreciated his pleasant manner in which he looked after patrons.
I asked if there is a good team spirit, the answer was pretty obvious. OH Yes!

My meal was a very tasty & a generous serve.
Everything was so nice.
I wish certain members of my family were still alive to bring to my local Altona Sports Club.
Appreciative local, who will spread the word & come back.

First time visiting this venue and we certainly were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the venue clean and pleasant to enjoy our meal. I would recommend this to anyone looking to eat out ??'?

Chips were good but I was looking for a vegetarian meal and there was only two, both being white creamy pasta. I settled on a goreng meal that was colourful however it was very bland and the chicken was flavourless, the egg presented on top was undercooked and I had to wipe the whole top of raw egg white off really disappointing and grossed me out. The rest of my family did enjoy their meal though.

Good place for a drink, live music on Saturday night, and fairly reasonable drink prices. Plenty of seating, and they serve dinner before the show. Security we're making an appearance and keeping the riff raff in check. They asked disruptive patrons to leave, without incident. Parking was inadequate, so get there early.

Great place with live music, beach view and kids play area. The best potato wedges ever but unfortunately the calamari salad was a let down, very bland.

Firstly I haven't been here in years, pleasantly surprised by the new restaurant meals with no comparison to the others in our area. Jeremy our waiter his costumer service was 100 percent it is very rare you find someone happy to serve and do extra for their patrons I was in hospitality management for 13 years and if I was still in the industry I would of pouched him in a heart beat.. Food was exquisite compliments to the chef.

I've been coming here for years & everything about this place is top notch. Where else could you see free fantastic music, get a great meal at a great price with wonderful views of the bay in a clean, family - friendly environment?
I cannot recommend this place more highly.

Things I really liked were the views of the bay from the Bistro. The serving staff of our meals and the meals were huge, tasty and good value! Loved the family vibe of the place, lots of families there and it was really, really busy when we went. So that's my only negative we had to wait quite a while for our mains nearly 40mins. Hence 4 out of 5 stars, but it's well worth going but I think we will be going a bit earlier so as to miss the rush 😉. But we will be going again that's for sure.

Altona Sports Club is our weekly Tuesday night and we love it. It feels like home and all the staff are so lovely. We play trivia as a team every Tuesday and enjoy dinner and drinks with our friends. We love being members here. Plus they have outdoor bowls, and good food too.

Always a great environment here. Loved the food, so fast and fresh. We came for the Christmas Carols by the Bay and it was an absolute treat. What a great place we live in 🥰

Renovated premises. Clean lines and new Bistro tables and chairs. Offers seniors' menu (smaller portions - smaller prices). Order meals at the bar. Very swift delivery of meals to the table. Great views of the bay from Bistro windows.

The food was disgusting. Pork ribs caesar salad disgusting. My children left their food on the plate. $110.00 waste of money. Food not fresh. Ate there 4 years ago food amazing. Gone down hill really bad. Never eat there again. Did not complain because at a birthday party.

Good pub fare and huge portions. Can be shared by two people or they provide takeaway containers. The calamari was really good. My friend had the lamb roast and she was very happy with hers

I love Altona sports club especially when Alfi Rocker band is on. We have a lovely meal and then listen and dance to classic rock music. Alfi Rocker is a fantastic band who really entertains and engages the audience. So come and join Alfi fans and friends and become our friends too. Nice friendly customer service. Clean and comfortable environment. Our meals could of been better, portions were good but the overall meal was luke warm. Nice garlic bread!

Came here on Pizza and Ribs night and ordered the full rack of ribs.

Ribs were succulent, delicious and fell off the bone. Chips were well seasoned and salad was serviceable but overall good value for the price.

Washed it all down with a White Rabbit Dark Ale pint which is a cracking beer and a great addition to their tap list.

Overall nice experience with efficient and friendly staff. Look forward to coming back to one of their other specials nights and also will get a $5 membership to take advantage of all the discounts.

Friendly and helpful staff. It is a very clean neat tidy venue. The ballroom dance on Sunday 5pm is lovely. Thursday lessons are very good. Apartment instructor and a friendly group.of people
