29/08/2024 . So disappointed with tonight's meal. Couldn't see the fish for the crumb, the garlic cheese bread was burnt and no flavour at all, go figure. The other meal of chicken schnitzel had no flavour and chips were hard and tasteless in both meals. We have always enjoyed the food but unfortunately not tonight. . Thank goodness we didn't bring friends along. Otherwise service and staff impeccable. Please rectify this as not a good look for visitors. Just another gripe 🙄 when the first post is going on at 6pm why are the kitchen staff still yelling orders amongst each other. So dis- respectful. Should be silenced full Stop.

We love coming here for dinner. Staff are friendly, very affordable and food is tasty! Wish they didn't put so much onion in the salad, is all I could say!

Went there with friends to have dinner. We had steak set. It was delicious... I enjoy the vibe there, it was so relaxing and warm. The service is good, and the toilet is also clean.

Friendly atmosphere and staff- popular with a variety of choices from menu. Chose the Chicken and Prawn stir fry- tasty. All the food looks great. Reasonably priced. I will come back when in Melbourne next?

Finally made it to the RSL after moving here for three years. My partner had been coming for as long as it's been open and raved about it.
Modern building and amenities including generous dining spaces, pokies and bar.
Menu is good and there is certainly something for everyone.
I had chicken Kiev and my partner had surf and turf both with chips and salad.
Generous portion sizes and flavour was pretty good. It's really a pub meal and has similar atmosphere.
Excellent for seniors and disabled people who are well catered for. Kids as well.
Bottle of Pepperjack to round off a nice evening.

My wife and I have just moved to Melbourne from interstate and we happened to find this gem of an establishment. We were able to use their facilities for a very pleasant Saturday night meal recently.
Prices were very reasonable and the RSL staff were very friendly and efficient. As both my wife and I both have a seniors card we were able to order the 3 course seniors meal for an extremely generous price. The bar staff were also very engaging. A pleasant location to enjoy a good family dinner for those looking for options.

The seafood platter for 2 was $75 - The calamari was so tender it just melted in your mouth we will be back for that... sadly the lobster was dry that was very dissapointing as it was not enjoyable at all, the steak was thin but tender advertising said 2 glasses of wine but was told not available on a Friday... signage should reflect that

All other meals were fine the steak was suppose to med rare but was over done, place was clean staff friendly

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Altona RSL, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish! From the delicious food to the affordable drinks and delightful atmosphere, this place exceeded all my expectations.

If time means nothing to you then this is the place to come. The order for a family of 4 took 1 hr and 5 minutes to arrive for Sunday lunch. This was after being told the wait time was 30 minutes. Altona RSL get your act together. This is simply not acceptable!!

Solid bistro meals in a family friendly environment.

We've lived in the area a couple of years and finally made our way down to the RSL for a feed. Ordered the calamari and garlic prawns, both dishes were good bistro fare with a solid amount of chips and salad with the seafood quality up to standard.

Lots of families were in on a busy night but it did feel like the venue was understaffed that night with food waits around the 45 minutes. A few customers were getting a bit angry about the wait times so we hope they were just having a bit of an off night for service.

The food today was nice but the mature woman serving behind the counter was very rude to several customers, even demanding to see seniors cards when it was quite obvious they were seniors. Not very good people skills at all

There is a good variety of dishes served in the bistro (Gunners), including old favourites which aren't offered much any more.

Ordered the Chicken Parmigiana. Was great and the staff were pleasant to deal with.

Quintessential RSL, solid menu with classic pub dishes, steak and pasta selections. Food took 30 mins on a Sat night, gave me enough time to down two schooners. Pork Schnitz was pretty good.

Average service. If you order a coctail be prepared to wait for half an hour before someone can be bothered making it!! They take all easy orders first....

Great facility, food is good but some items need improvement... Chips are generally not fresh, taste of being frozen.

As a wedding celebrant, I conducted my first wedding at Earlando recently. The venue is simply stunning, staff and management are professional, welcoming and oh, so good at their job. Earlando is an awesome venue for a wedding. Relaxed, peaceful and magical in all respects. Everything ran like clockwork.

Excellent Friday night for the family. Food delicious and the staff very helpful. Drinks very reasonably priced. Enjoyed the band after the meal. Will be back. Thank you.

Very quiet on this Saturday - friendly staff - clean toilets - we didn't stick around to eat.

Looks can be deceiving - so much behind the front facade / entrance - nice relaxing decor & bistro, pool table - open kitchen. Not the place you want to go if you don't want to be asked to show proof of jab.

Nice place to stop & have a lemon, lime & bitters & orient yourself for the next move.

Went for a chance dinner at the bistro, was very impressed! Had a great time! Food was amazing and very well priced. The steak was cooked to perfection, everything else was delicious! Would highly highly recommend!

Earlando is an exceptional Whitsunday wedding venue! Super private, beachfront location, with tropical palm lined lawns and stunning Australian countryside. As a photographer for Tropix Photography, I get so excited working there. But that's not even the best part. Ben and Teena and their incredible team are absolutely wonderful!
