Absolutely perfect venue - my sister\'s wedding was beautiful!

We recently held my sister Pai and her husband Enoka\'s wedding reception at The Village Green, and everything was absolutely perfect! From the planning stages right through to the big day, the staff were so helpful, friendly and supportive - we never felt overwhelmed at all, and everything went exactly the way we had hoped.

Our guests raved about how delicious the food was, and the setup looked beautiful. Even the waiting service was wonderful! A special thank you to the chef, all the staff, and the manager on duty - we really appreciated how flexible and understanding you were when timings needed a little adjustment. You handled everything so smoothly and we felt we could really trust you.

The happy couple were absolutely over the moon - it truly was a magical day. Thank you so much to the whole team at The Village Green for making it all happen so beautifully. We would highly recommend you to everyone! 🙏😊

Cabaret hall function room, a venue for events

We celebrated our son's 21st here and had an absolutely fantastic experience! Alira and the entire team were amazing, the service was warm and friendly, and Chef Ondrea\'s food was simply outstanding - a perfect blend of Sri Lankan flavours and Western tastes. A special thanks to Ruben for making sure everything ran smoothly. A truly memorable night. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a most amazing time and our guests enjoyed it immensely too!! Very pleased with absolutely everything! 😊 The staff were lovely and I definitely noticed the efficiency and how they were constantly on top things.

My sister said the food was the best she's had at a wedding reception so far! 😄 It was delicious!

The lady that served us was nice but unfortunately that's basically the only decent thing about our experience, I ordered a medium rare porterhouse steak that was well done and burnt as per the photos.
The steak was served with so much pepper it was all you could taste even after scrapping as much as possible off with the knife.
We took the meal back after trying 3 bites of what can old be described as the worst steak I have had in a long time and there was no offer to cook a new one or even refund the $39 we paid for it, I sat there while my son finished his chips thinking a supervisor or someone may come out and speak to us but no nothing so we left not to return again and definitely will not be recommending this place again given the lack of customer service and especially not the central bar & Grill.
