Service (both bar & table) prompt, very friendly and welcoming.
Venue had sickening smell of synthetic air 'freshener' from front door onwards - which killed appetite and taste buds pretty quickly. If they must use something, an odour neutraliser or essential oil like lemon grass would work better, in my view. A bit like thinking deodorant or perfume kills BO smell ... it doesn't.
All in all, ok. But we probably would have liked to stay longer, and would not rush back.

Outstanding. Wait staff are brilliant very friendly and the chef even comes out and recommends meals and talks to you about the meals he cooks also very friendly. Meals were fabulous. We went there for a Medium event and thought we would book for tea. So glad we did. We can't praise the 2 ladies and young man who waited on us enough, their customer service is excellent. Also the chef for his friendliness when he came over to our table when we were trying to decide what to order. Will be definitely going back for tea again. Would love to give 10 🌟 🌟

I am raising concerns about the accessibility of the disabled signage on the toilet doors at the Traralgon RSL. The current sign is only a sticker and not a raised tactile sign, making it difficult for people who are blind or vision impaired to identify which toilets to use. I have approached the staff members multiple times about this issue, but nothing has been done over a long period of time.

These signs are not very costly to purchase, and it is a simple fix that would greatly enhance accessibility for all patrons. I don't want to have to go to the Human Rights Commission over such a simple issue that can be rectified.

The chicken burger with chilli was delicious! Caesar Salad is perfect too Prices very reasonable. Worth a meal anytime. Menu has improved 150% on last years

Had lunch here seniors meals, fish n chips & Parmalat. Both meals very nice n tasty. Staff were very pleasant overall a great experience. Will be back & recommend.

The food was lovely, I had chicken scallopini with chips, chocolate pudding for desert. It was great. The staff are amazing. Made me feel so welcome. Nothing was a problem for them, they were all smiling, friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back

The new owners/chef are no good, I am sorry but I have to be honest. We went and tried a few weeks back / advised changeover of food/chefs etc got 2 steak sandwiches and the meat was like chewy rubber, cldnt even eat it / or choke! We tried again yesterday (2nd chance) and the Parma was of poor quality, the meat was very cheap and batter was falling off and tasteless, all we cld taste was cheap tomatoe sauce. The Calamari dish was also poor, only a few pieces and nothing was made with love or passion, not going back. The old chefs/owners/food was awesome, now its a shamozzle. 0/5!

Some of staff were very helpful the rest need more training the main meals were not to bad dessert needs two be work on I wouldn't go back

I've finally found my local Parma place. Tuesday night they do one for 12$ and it's delicious. Staff are friendly. Food is great. Drinks are cheap. Get around it.

Had a lovely lunch today. Great venue and very reasonable prices. Staff very friendly and attentive. Owner/cook even was visiting tables to check everything was ok. Couldn't ask for better service and very delicious food. What a gem for Traralgon, we will definitely return.Well done!

New bistro, innovative and talks to patrons for feedback, seafood was excellent, I went the steak sandwich as I wasn't that hungry, exceeded my expectations, full of quality filling and I really enjoyed it.

We had the parmas at Poppy's kitchen and they were excellent, very tasty. Chef and staff came around to check how our meals were. Great service and very friendly.

Over an hour wait. Plus staff not very helpful. Better to inform public before they order their meals.

Walked in, no one at the desk and no notification to let us know to wait or move further in. Once we located where to go, service was quick.

At the table we were seated in Arctic conditions, had to ask for the air con to be turned off.

The menu is very limited, but the food was pretty good and served fairly quickly.

Ruby, our waitress was excellent.

As a member of this RSL since 1971 and a Vietnam Veteran I have spent many hours here in this RSL and found it a great place to relax and enjoy the atmosfere

We met up for a memorial Wake for one of our colleagues. A smallish venue but very well appointed. We were shown to the function room, adequate seating, roomy. The food was really good, it was sandwiches and finger food, but it was delicious. Staff were friendly and courteous to the Out-of-Towners too. So a good place to remember a fallen comrade.

Catered very well for a large formal occasion. Staff are efficient and friendly. Would strongly recommend it as a formal venue.

Over priced for what you get $19.50 for sweet and sour chicken that doesn't come with rice??? (I think you should get steamed rice with sweet and sour) so then plus $6.00 for rice makes it a $30 meal !! It was nice food but not worth the money.

i paid my bill at 19 : 16, and wait until 20:45, i go to ask my meal, a lady in the kitchen said that it will coming, but did not see it come, i have to ask refund and left. very disappointed.

I was there first time.It was empty and I was the only gust at the machines. I understood very fast way, $ 100.00 dollars later and not 1 free game it became clear it wasn't worth it to come.I wish them well and hope the food is better than the machines.

Played bowls here. And enjoy the company of their bowlers even though we didn't win. and were not allowed to eat our brought lunch inside,so went back to our own club

I always visit the RSL when we are visiting family for a Friday night meal. You have to sign in to enter. Not sure if you have to have a member sign you in though. This time when we were home we joined in on the barefoot bowls held for everyone on the Monday night. It was only $5 which got you a couple of games and a sausage bbq. It is definitely worth it.
