Had lunch on the weekend, nice pub meals for the price. My smashed avo on my chicken dish had way too much lemon and was really tangy and was just over powering and the hollandaise sauce was very plain and tasteless otherwise the chicken was good

I visited with 6 friends for lunch. I enjoyed the lunch special fish & chips. Several others did too. We rated them at about 7.5. Others had the steak sandwich - all rated as excellent. One had the lunch special roast. Very good. One downside was the surcharge for using a card. Just a money grab, as far as I am concerned. The Grand Junction Hotel is not a small business by any stretch. I won't be back.

This is one of the few places that I have come across thst accualy serves you real food! When they say that the chicken has been hand crumbed that is what you get. Real chicken breast hand crumbed. It's so good! And the fish! Great big pieces of fish not these skinny little bits of processed crap that they try and palm off as fish.. Mine even had a little fish bone in it so I know it was real fish. If this place wasn't so fare away from mine I would eat there all the time. My complements to the chef. Great job. ??'-??'-??'-

Nice restaurant & pub with Good menu.

I had a great dining experience at the hotel. The service staff were lovely and took extra care when answering my questions. It was my first time in Traralgon and using chargeback (I was there for work) and they kindly stepped me through the process.

The crispy chicken burger was delicious and my lemon lime and bitters with soda water quenched my thirst! Great people and food!

Had the ravioli and it was barely editable, it was overcooked and the sauce was flavourless. We were a table of eight adults and were made to break up our orders over two separate orders, not a big deal however there was almost a half hour difference from one order coming out to the other. The carbonara, burger and chips had by some of the others were not nice either.

Had a great night out here at The Grand Junction, I'm a regular patron here in the gaming room and always have a wonderful Saturday night out here. Lydia, Tylan, Annie and Brooke are the best gaming attendants and always ensure my night is comfortable I can't thank them enough for their hospitality 😊😊😊 This venue is definitely the best in town it's clean modern and the atmosphere is brilliant. 😄😄😄

What a great venue, plenty of parking around the venue. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful and the meals were delicious and ready very quickly. We had booked and were there at opening so there wasn't many people when we arrived but it filled up quickly, so I recommend that you book. You can book online so that is a good option. The bruscetto was the best I have eaten. The others meals were delicious and a good size and the kids meal and activity was so great.

Really good pub, tasty hot food and cold beer.
TAB area is a good size with plenty of screens and seating.
Will be back when I'm in the area.

The service was prompt for 8.15 at night on a saturday night, seated us and ordering is done at the countr. bar is seperate but near by the meals. The bar staff were so lovely and talkative and polite and not only quick but made lovely cocktails and offered to help carry them to the table or bring out seconds at a different time though i chose to just take them. The food portions were excellent, had the special parma which was a cheeseburger parma x2 for the table and a fettuccine carbonara. The cheezeburger parmas were not on the skimpy side and literally tasted like a cheeseburger minus the bread. There was smashed beef patty, pickles, cheeseburger sauce on top of a parma covered with cheese. Of all the alternative parmas ive ever had (which is alot i generally try parmas everywhere i go) this ranks highly if not the best. The fettuccine was creamy and a great helping. Also was amazed by and loved the free salad bar which had 4 kinds of salads to help yourself to, catering to all kinds of people. We chose to share a plate of each just to give it all a go and no faults to be reported by any of us. We ordered aperol spritz & fruit tingle cocktails; the fruit tingle was one of the best ive ever had even me myself as a bar tender i havent made myself one so good was dead on for taste of a fruit tingle. The aperol spritz was made great just none of us fancied th taste of prosecco and it overpowers the drink because we dont enjoy it but it got better with each sip was bubbly refreshing otherwise.
Highly reccomend eating here and will return again!

The best food I've had in a long time. The Mexican schnitzel was awesome! Lovely employees and very clean. Will definitely be coming back

Went to this place for dinner with the family on the 19th December and was really disappointed. Ordered a well done steak only for it to come medium rare. If someone orders the steak a certain way than it should be done that way, not the chef's way. Along with that came cooked beetroot (disgusting), and some slop what looked like pureed pumpkin again (disgusting). The steak was not worth $38. Won't be returning.

The staff and the meals were absolutely perfect. Quick service, prices were reasonable and good size.

A group of us travelled to Traralgon by train from Melbourne and walked across the road to the pub for lunch. One of us had booked prior to our arrival because we didn't have a lot of time. We were allowed in before they opened so that we could select what we wanted on the menu before any potential queues. The staff went over and above to make our stay pleasant and it was a wonderful reminder for me having been there many years ago with my grandmother, mother and two aunts. The food was delicious and the Spanish churros that my partner had were really beautifully presented. I'm sorry I didn't take a photo!

I ordered an Outback Parma for dinner at 6:30, as they were fairly busy so I was patient, 7:15 came along & I still had no food so I asked the waitress for an update & got told 5-10 minutes, 7:35 came & there was still no food so I asked again, the waitress came back & said the kitchen had lost my docket & explained that the head chef & another kitchen staff member was away, I finally got my dinner at 8:00 which was delicious & I was offered a free drink, the waitress was lovely & very apologetic.
I did notice that the kitchen had made some mistakes with other peoples food too so maybe some further training is needed before the head chef takes time off again.

Prices were extravagant. Meals were underwhelming, didn't allow for allergies, vegan or other considerations and the potatoes even came out 20 minutes before mains they went with. Most pubs would have done a MUCH better job at a third of the price! Venue was nice but, not $150 a head nice...

On entering the door we were given menus & told to choose our table by a very pleasant, smiling girl. After looking over the menu & the appealing lunch specials we asked the delightful girl at the till for more information. She was so helpful & we made our choice. We were not disappointed & had a very tasty lunch. A lovely lunch was made more special by the two lovely girls. Well done girls, service we really appreciated & won't forget. ??'?😀

I had Lamb roast of the day with mushroom gravy, my mum had chicken parma and best friend had a chicken parma. Very sticky need better AC

Modern clean bistro with a traditional pub menu plus extra daily specials. Staff are very professional and meals are great in taste and size.

Steak sandwich... If you can call it that, contained a tiny thin slice of beef that was so over cooked, it was almost like Jerky. The Pub Parma... Great Tucker... If you consider charcoal crumb and dry overcooked processed chicken drowning in whatever oil they used, to be great... It's definitely a no from us.

Meal was good some of the staff were really nice but one wasn't at first but became better later on

We had a lovely meal and great prices and the staff were amazing. Friendly staff and very great with covid practises. We will go back

Have been coming here on and off for over 10yrs and must say it was very good but since 1 the renovations, 2 covid its has steadily declined to just barely average overall, the service and staff are attentive and polite. The food while reasonably well presented it is bland to say the least. A note to the management, there are a lot of eating venues in Traralgon that are all vying for a substantial piece of an ever shrinking pie that are providing better food and service at similar prices

Had the best Porterhouse steak, cooked to perfection served with salad. Great service at the bar. Blend of good food and great customer service, you cannot beat that. Highly recommended...

Grand seafood platter was amazing! My son loved his pirate boat plate and activity kit.
