Good place to dine in, you get better foods than you paid. But still I don't get is the lunch steak grill guy plays gamble for steaks not cooking as requested...(they will offer you replacement, but still who will happy eatable beef goes to trashcan? When if replacements are also too burnt.....) if grill problem solved it would be best reastaurant in region.(Steaks are much better in dinner.)

Wow what a feed go for the 300gram Rump. The Cow filled out hole plate and it was cooked to perfection. Great meal and great service and cold beer.

I took my partner to mothers day lunch and it was the best day we've had for a long time,great food, service and staff fantastic atmosphere we would highly recommend it.

Best pub in Boonah, meals are classic pub food, massive and good price. Lynda and John the new owners are great people, glad they know what they are doing. Rib Fillet is amazing!

Not just a huge meal at a good price, but pretty yummy too. Add the Cold Beer and what's not to like. Awesome house gravy. Well worth it.

We were with a group, prebooked meals. Very boring, fish and chips, worst I've ever had. Steak and chips, steak was quite OK. No salad or veg on the plates. Bar service was very good.

Best pub food we've had in ages, my wife got a T-bone with mushroom gravy, she's still raving about it, I had the meatlovers parmy it was amazing 🤤
The bar ladies were great, we didn't have a booking and the pub was packed, they found us a table and made us feel welcome

Pros: I got WELL FED, bring a doggy bag if you come here. The vego options were not boring. Wheelchair friendly. The people are very nice: the cashier let me pay the old price shown on the menu instead of the dearer price in the system.
Cons: there was a very bad smell coming from a kitchen (?!)

Had a lovely lunch, $13.00 lunch special, the chicken salad, my partner had the 250gm steak, no complaints, fresh and perfectly cooked. Been there several times, always satisfied.

Awesome pub meals, we both agreed we haven't had one better. The perfect steaks and the garlic prawn toppers are to die for !!!! The chef and bar ladies made it a lovely lunch stop whilst visiting the local areas. AAA1.

Beautiful and clean pub, with some nice Memorabilia on the walls to look at. Staff were nice and helpful (bar and drive thru).
We did decide to try the $13 lunches as they were recommended by a fellow camper, however the wait was an hour for a couple of pasta dishes was a bit much. Bar staff apologised saying they were busy, I'm sorry, but unless there was 50+ people hidden out the back that day, we didn't think it was busy as there was empty tables around us. Hopefully it was just an off day 🤞

Friendly and welcoming publican and staff. Good meal that won't leave you hungry.
We left our table to be shown the smoking area (it's lovely too) and returned to a 'reserved' sign placed on our table for us without having to ask- exceptional service. Thanks for a great night.

Had lunch at Simon's Tavern, we just moved here and this will be our local. My Moroccan Lamb and Haloumi salad was absolutely delicious!! Perfectly seasoned very generous serve lots of yummy olives and the lamb was lovely and tender. Very friendly staff a definite must if your in Boonah!

Don't take a book by its cover, outside this Tavern looks quite ordinary, but, inside is a very clean tidy place. Food was very good, staff happy and professional. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped by for a quick lunch before heading to Warwick as we saw the lunch menu which looked good. My partner and I both had the 250g rump steak with fries. It's a bit of wait but it's worth as the steak was cooked perfectly. Just my peppercorn sauce was just so thick that I had to shared the mushroom sauce of my partner's, which was yummy. The staff were friendly and attentive, the $12 lunch menu with reasonable choices, definitely recommend!

I stopped here with family for lunch while we were sight-seeing in the area. They had a great lunch menu with various standard pub options. We all ordered the 250g steak with chips and salad. Great value for $17. Big portions and very tasty indeed!

We visited this hotel today, everyone was happy with the taste of their meals. The Drovers steak itself we felt was a little on the small side, plenty of sides and bacon just a very small steak. Staff are friendly and air-conditioning very welcome on a warm day.

I have been to Simon's Tavern on many occasions. Sometimes in a large group other times just Jean and myself. I have always been very impressed by the service and the quality of the meal. I am a big eater and the size of the meal is great, and prices are very reasonable. I would recommend Simon's Tavern to anyone and everyone.

Oh my Gawd! The food here is fantastic . Leaves Brisbane Taverns for dead! Makes the local, not local. Took my wife there for Valentines Day Lunch, was a bit pricey, but worth every dollar. Great atmosphere and live music. Would go to Simon's over and over. Don't miss out! Go to Boonah for the drive and have a meal at Simon's!

Absolutely amazing place to eat and relax. I drive from Karalee to have lunch here, beats any place near home. The staff are awesome.... friendly and accomodating.I've read other reviews saying they've waited too long for meals. I'm not sure they even have the right hotel in Boonah. I've never waited any longer than 15-20mins for a meal. The mushroom gravy is to die for.Well worth the drive, you won't be be disappointed.

Oh dear Lord, the atmosphere was great and the food is to die for. Delicious doesnt come close to how amazing this particular meal was. I look forward to going back there one day!

Meals are generous and very reasonable, though very ordinary. The service was quick and friendly, despite there only being one person behind the bar having to do everything, including the bottle-shop and charging in the bistro area.
