Firstly the staff are very lovely and helpful. The price for the night was cheaper than anywhere else in a 1 hour radius. The bed was uncomfortable and the kids bunks were squeaky and screaming loud. We could hear all the people coming in at 11 or midnight and banging around. Paper thin walls. No individual bathroom shared amongst everyone. After a 6 hour drive we went to shower at 7pm arriving. No hot water; no warm water; ice cold ðŸ˜"

My partner and I had a great time having an afternoon drink here as we passed through the town. Staff are friendly, the pub cat is ADORABLE and friendly, toilets are clean. And the decor is that perfect classic Aussie pub vibe. We're already keen to come back

dont bother booking here .. I wouldnt let my dog sleep here. the top room came complete with a roach in the bathroom, carpets were disgusting. painting needing doing 10 years ago. better to sleep in the car. please dont book this place if u have kids

We love a drive in the country and what better place for a great steak lunch than right here. Great food. Love the old worldy atmosphere and the brewing history on the walls is really interesting. The staff here are very friendly as well.

Unfortunately this grand old pub has been owned by Good Times (Sirromet) for some years now and there are bits falling off it everywhere and the Main Street facade is dirty and disgusting. Same thing is happening with another pub they own on the edge of town.

Good old pub over 134 years old big old timber building good solid staff run the bar and the steak sandwich are the go the pub has ghosts room 7 in shotgun ally sleep well in that room or try a night hearing little girl trying to get out of the stairs case closets

Great Australian Hotel & pub lots of history & we went there for a Paranormal investigation with a team of investigators was great really enjoyed it & we stayed the night was a very eventful night

True Australian regional pub in every sense. Great atmosphere....not pretentious like so many city pubs. Food was excellent and we loved the outdoor area lit by beatiful fairy lights. Beer was cold and refreshing. Cannot fault and out family will be back.

Had a lovely conversation with the staff & the meals ordered came within earlier than expected time. Presentation looked advertising & cost was affordable, taste & flavour was absolutely the best & well worth dining in for a counter meal & chat with the friendly staff.

Nothing fancy, but you know an experience. It helps to stay in such places so that they can be preserved or else they will disappear.

Great old pub great priced feed for the family. My son soccer team went for lunch before we all headed back to brisbane. Staff are friendly and always smiling and bonus does ghost tours i found out.

The hotel is 150 yrs old, and the rooms are old but clean. And the shared toilet and shower were close and also clean . The lunch meal at the pub was a good price and the food tasty. Staff were all pleasant and friendly, and helpful, thanks guys
