First and last time. So went to the Dugandan at Boonah. Was told the meals started at 12. Waited till 12 and ordered. No meal after 45 mins. Went and asked for a refund. Was given the refund and told the order didn't go to the kitchen. No sorry or can we do anything to make it up.
Oh, the website states meals start at 1130, sign on the table says the same. Will attached photos
Won't be going to the s@@thole again.

18 of us had meals here. All came out in a timely manner. Staff were all pleasant. The pub is very old but that just added to the ambience of the place.
Only one gripe and that relates to the men's urinal. Needs urgent attention.

We absolutely loved this little pub. Great place to stop in on our way back to Brisbane. We both had steaks and they were cooked to perfection along with a fresh salad and chips.

Highlight is it was dog friendly. Big open/shady area with tables to sit off to the side. Staff were very friendly and accomodating with the best feature being the dog photo wall!

Overall we would make this our local if we lived in Boonah. We will be back!

One of the great country pubs. Friendly service. Great food. Great views. Pet super friendly. As good as it was 30 years ago when I was last there.

Took our mini sausage dog Matilda out for lunch and it was the best day ever! From the first bite of the grilled chicken breast on the doggie menu to our human sirloin steak, chips and salad and chicken parmigiana every bite was mouthwatering and magical. Friendly and welcoming vibes were present from all staff from arrival. We are already planning our next day trip with another visit soon!

Bit I can't say food was top of the crop on the day. Some customers were doing a we are better than you on the night and the chips a little off. The calamari. Can't say burnt. The rest A1

Called in for lunch on advice of a friend . I was expecting much better but both Rissoles Mash & Gravy and Sausage Mash & Gravy left a lot to be desired. The meats were tasteless and cooked hard solid and the mash and gravy was the star of the plate. Atmosphere was good and the staff very friendly.

When The Chats sung 'all I want, and all I need is a good pub feed' I think they were referring to the Dungandan Pub. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 star pub feed of BBQ Ribs and Texan Schnitzel at this fine establishment. The Dungandan Hotel caters to both locals and tourists alike without compromising on their country roots.

Its still an okay pub for a meal but has recently lost its shine in my opinion. No longer are the chicken parmy's half the size of the plate. They're now unremarkable and small.

If youre looking for a good country town burger, this is NOT the place. A pathetic looking small burger with gross yellow chips... that costs $26. Chicken schnitzel was thin and over cooked, came with one slice of tomato and no cheese.... what burg doesn't have cheese....

What a great country pub. History in every crevice, nook and cranny. Just oozing with old world country charm. Great live music entertainment. Wonderful accommodating friendly staff. Meals just like they served in every country kitchen for years. Great variety on the menu and wonderfully presented.

Nice old pub, in a nice location, good live music, very puppy friendly which is awesome. Only thing is that the food was pretty average really, even for pib standards, wouldn't cost much to make it a bit nicer with fresh local produces and with more options for dietary requirements

I'd driven past this pub on a weekend and it was pumping so I thought I'd check it out next time we were in the area. Called in at 2pm on a very quiet Tuesday but they were happy to still do lunch for us. The vegetarian menu was understandably small here so I just ordered a few sides which were nice. My partner devoured the schnitzel burger. The Pinot Gris was also good. The young bar lady (sorry didn't catch your name) was friendly, efficient and helpful. I recommend calling in on a weekend for a great country atmosphere.

So asked sister establishment if they were willing to take card over the phone and they said this pub would be more then happy too so we encouraged our training participants to eat here. When got here we received rude service and got told that they wouldn't. Could here the staff talking about our table from the bar. One of our table ordered and paid then got told later they didn't have that menu item. I wouldn't recommend this establishment. And I won't be coming back. I don't like being treated that way.. we could of spent a lot of money collectively. Get treated how you treat people. And this pub has a long way to go in customer service department.

Called in today with a friend for an early lunch. Nice country pub. Had a senior's meal $15.00. Crumbed chicken +salad. Friend had fish n chips. Very tasty meals. Staff friendly and helpful when ordering.

What a beautiful country pub. Staff are amazing and beer was cold. Interesting looking chandelier's in the dining area and plenty of room thru out for everyone.

Friendly staff and patrons. Good gender balance. Good pool table in small games room. Good variety of drinks, food and seating (indoor, bar, deck, verandah, covered outdoor dining or out under the huge trees). Ginger beer on tap (and vodka/lemon lime and bitters). Tasty pumpkin salad & cheesy garlic bread. Will be back to try 2 varieties of chicken wings and waffle fries. Bit of a drive, but lovely.

Fantastic place to relax. Bike rides here are one of my favourite things to do. Clean restaurant/pub. And a cheeky back room is there with a few pokies ;). Prices are decent and fair. Food is brilliant & tasty .Will be back again.

Inside and outside play area for little kids. Nice food and friendly service.

Edit: I've had the great northern barramundi each time ive been there (4times) on Friday it wasn't cooked properly. Very pink in some parts and some parts still that fish see through colour. I was sick later that day and the next day

The customer service is amazing!! Such a great pub to bring your kids & fur babies. The only letdown was the food. The traditional parmi was horrible. Tasted like it had been pre-cooked, frozen then microwaved. Took one bite & didn't touch it again. Would definitely go back for the atmosphere & friendly staff but would not order food.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch.
Busy as hell with a car ???- club .
But we enjoyed our time with friends.
Despite there being a waiting time for meals but that's to be expected with so many people.
Friendly staff all round.
Meals are good value for the money ??'?.

Friendly funny bar staff even when they seemed understaffed and run off their feet, due to I guess more patrons than expected. Live music on a Sunday is always a treat and the meals are nice.
Good outdoor seating as well as verandah seating.

Great old pub south of the town. Great music on the weekend, normal, pretty cool food prices. One of those places that is old, friendly staff and can't wait to go back very soon. P.S. Heaps of parking. Kids welcome. Enjoy.

Loved this pub. Second time there. Friendly staff with great country charm. Food was delicious, I had rissoles and mash which was superb my partner had bangers and mash which she loved, kids also very happy with their burgers and nuggets. Great variety of food and beers/wines etc. We're from Brisbane and plan on visiting again soon

Stopped here for lunch while doing The Head Scenic Drive from Killarney to Boonah . We chose to sit outside in the beer garden as we had our dog with us . The beer and other drinks chosen were refreshingly cold , which was a welcome relief on a very hot day🍺🧋 I had a steak sandwich and chips for my lunch , the sandwich was good but NOT the chips .They were very ordinary in taste to say the least , they had no flavour what so ever , even after I added salt to them....I would also like to add that the outdoor tables & chairs could do with a good clean as there was quite alot of droppings on them

A top little Aussie pub. Cold beer, good selection of pub fare and a cracking atmosphere.

Had a schnitty that was refreshingly portioned, so moist and it fitted the plate. The better half had bangers and mash, which took some high-level negotiation to taste; didn't want to give up a bite.

Could sit on that veranda for hours..

Great atmosphere and the beer garden is a nice and cool spot to enjoy a good value meal, they even have Pensioner meals for $14, I went for the bangers and mash, couldn't go wrong at that . All in all, the pub lived up to its reputation as a good venue for lunch while out on a days jolly .

Was happy to visit and give this pub a try for lunch today... The cold, uninterested , unhelpful, service from the young girl with black hair this morning . She Made our mind up to not stay and spend our money elsewhere. Very Rude... so cant comment on food ? ??? Will not return

A long wait for a meal and even worse the meals weren't served at the same time, 1 meal came out 30 minutes after the first meal on the same order and the staff seemed annoyed at us for the fact they'd forgotten to cook 1 of the meals to begin with. Food was pretty ordinary, not great, not terrible. We had a table booked for outside but ended up moving inside because the guy that was murdering a few Guns & Roses songs was so loud we wouldn't have ended up being able chat while trying to enjoy a meal, maybe tell the entertainment to tone it down a bit, we're not at a Metallica concert.

The Barramundi Great Northern Batter?!
Who would of thought... A pub a stretch from the beach showing them up and putting them to shame. Absolutely fantastic... nothing short of saying a highly recommend!!!

Also, bar staff were absolutely lovely with the feels of a smile which resonated through the mask.

What a cracker of a spot and we're from the Redlands.

If you're planning a relaxing family Sunday afternoon lunch outside? Best to book a table. They book out fast. Live solo entertainment is very cool, on street parking is okay too. It's a traditional old pub with lots to admire. There's also a playground for the ankle biters while you chill out. Enjoy. Oh yeah..... I got food envy when the bangers and mash came out, that I didn't order, but I will next time. The food is awesome.

I'm afraid that the slice of cheese on the Steak Sandwich was the worst I have ever come across.Also left the large toast sized bread behind on the plate.The desserts were delightful.

We had lunch there today. The first time we've been there. A lovely country pub with the usual pub fare. Some menu items a little pricey but others well priced and good quality meals. A good size outdoor area under shady trees...perfect on a warmer day. Gave 5 stars as I can't really think of any negatives. Could easily settle in for a whole arvo sesh.
