Definitely needs some tender loving care. On average it wasn't bad but I was upset when I opened up the sleeper coach for myself because I didn't want to disturb my aged mum who had fallen asleep across the bed, only to find unclean sheets. That was a real put off. The one aircon was completely non functional. The other couldn't be used because it blew directly on mum while she slept which was not pleasant for her but I needed the second one to work for my comfort but completely non functional. Tge green light displays but definitely non functional.

Stayed here a number of times over the years, and the first few stays were excellent, rooms were in excellent condition and clean. However January 2025 the rooms standards have taken a drastic turn for the worse.
Broken shower heads, broken room drapes, the luggage carrier was broken and lamp shades in the room were busted.
pub / bar and Grill is great for meal though, enjoyed the meals a lot.
Unfortunately for over $300 a night and with the state of the rooms, we won't be staying here again until the standards are lifted in regards to their room maintenance.
Such a shame, it used to be a beautiful hotel to stay at.

I had a great stay at the Redearth hotel. A very large room, big balcony, well equipped with a Nespresso machine and nice bathroom. Great value and I would recommend to anyone. Thank you.

A nice place in the centre of town. The location adjoins a great pub/restaurant and there's a good Coffee club across the road. Staff are friendly. Overall not a bad place to stay.

I travel across the country for work and Gillian at reception was without a doubt the most professional, helpful and pleasant person I have ever encountered in a hotel. Whatever she's on, she deserves a payrise
