We were asked to leave our mini Dachshunds in the smoking area unattended while we eat inside.
Bloody ridiculous.

The cafe there is pet friendly and the food amazing.

Went there for dinner,
Waited nearly an hour for our food, 4 meals all came put at different times. One meal completely wrong because they didn\'t have any barra, did\'nt even come out and tell us, just send out fish and chips. Never again.

The best feed in mount isa these days. Prices for food are reasonable compared to what else is around. They have really picked up on the quality of there food compared to a few years ago. Don\'t get me wrong, it\'s a pub feed. But it\'s a pub feed that taste like a pub feed for a pub price. Unlike the rest of mount isa that have a five star price for a half star food experience. I don't have an experience to share about the rooms or the room service. I wanted to come on here and give a shout out to the chef and kitchen stuff who served the best steak I have had in town! In a very long time! Like probably 2-3 years! The steak was divine and cooked to a perfect medium rare! My husband had the lamb shank and oh my goodness he absolutely loved it! The flavours blend so well with each other and it's safe to say we have found our new spot as a family. Not only that but my son got the kids lamb cutlet and in town my son has not had any good experiences with red meat on the kids menus. Soooo glad he got a lovely tender lamb cutlet with chips! It says a lot when my son is able to finish a kids meal same with me and my husband. It's rare for us to enjoy every part of our orders. We cleaned all our plates of food and desert!

Staff were really excellent, super attentive and helpful. Water pressure in the shower was great. However, there was a huge stain on my sheets, someone\'s leftover ham salad roll in the fridge and after a long day of travel at about 8pm -11pm all I could hear was a dryer / washing machine or something running near by.
Got dinner at the bar, again staff were great however my lasagna was not heated all the way through and cold in some parts. Didn\'t say anything to the staff and I\'m sure if I did they would have been great about it but there was just a lot of small things that made the overall stay not super great.
