Very disappointing dinner experience here. Steaks are overpriced and people cooking them have no idea what the difference is between barely warm and medium rare. My steak was so undercooked that it made me feel sick and for the first time in my life, returned the plate of food and simply asked for my money back. Service was extremely poor too! Walked in to a manager behind the bar on their phone who could barely look up to greet us! Not impressed and wouldn't recommend!

Great place to unwind and have an ice cold beverage while watching the fork lift drive past on the foot path that's unregistered, lol. Very clean net, tidy place and friendly staff with reasonable prices. Clean toilets also. Highly recommended

After a hot August Sunday working in the bar at The Mt Isa Rodeo i caught a lift with a new colleague to The Mt Isa Hotel for a delicious feed and a few refreshing vodka lemon lime and bitters (made with friendliness and flair by very warm and welcoming staff) after which i ventured out to the deck and shared a few jugs of icy cold xxxx with the crew and met Fred Brophy and his Travelling Boxing Troupe (Fan girl photo moments happily obliged ?) who, from all accounts, had packed the place to the rafters and filled the parking lot with patrons instead of vehicles for their sensational show the night before.

Got their Korean Sticky Pork Belly bowl for dinner and waited up to 50mins for this on the 19th June (Wed) The restaurant was seemly busy and packed during that period so I do understand the longer time taken to serve the food. However, couldn't helo but to feel mega dissapointed on what I get. As seen on the picture food definitely not appetizing.

Rice was overcooked and mush. The pork belly was charred and barely have any flavour. Not the mentioned it was very thin and only 3 slices were given considering I paid $25 for this. The kimchi cabbage served was pure white where it supposed to be reddish or have a tinge of spicinese or red. Overall the food was a mega dissapointment especially having to wait close to an hour for it. Gimme my money back?
Ps: I was still starving after this and went to get food at some Maccas instead.

I've stayed here many times (10+) for business over the years, the hotel itself is starting to feel very tired. The hallways to the rooms are grim, the whole the place just needs some love.
