It's simply a nice place to be. Wonderful staff. The lunch roast is the best for $15 (cheers to the kitchen staff)
And a jug can be as little as $17. I've paid triple for less quality. And if the owner is on site he will shake you by the hand a say great to see you again. It doesn't get any better, except Sunday afternoon you get some brilliant live music. So it does get better ???

Great place for a beer, but unfortunately, I can't say the same about the food. I am my fiance went to the Pineapple for an impromptu dinner, and we both regretted the decision.
The Parmi I had was well over cooked and rather tasteless.
Partners meal, the fish and chips was again well overcooked, was again tasteless.
Given that both dishes are mentioned to be pub staples, I find it hard to understand how a pub of the Pineapples reputation can be happy to serve up food of such a bad standard!
Note: I did ask for the Parmi to be served without salad.

This is a great cheap pub for lunches I think the lunch menu is between $15 - $20. They do dinner as well and a special each night, I think prices are a little more $15-$30?

The atmosphere is always buzzing and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

It's bar service only, where you order and collect your meals from the bar.

There's a kids playground which is fun and an eating area right there so you can watch as they play.

The tab set up is great for a punt.

The footy tvs could be a little better. But you can watch the game if that's your choice. You can watch the rugby union, just ask the bar staff and they will pop it on for you.

Drink prices are on par with other pubs and generally a cheap $10 schooner/pint special. Tap ginger beer is $18 a pint - this one stings every time. I normally pay $14 at other places.

Overall a great local and a good family pub.

Perfect place to have dinner before going to the Gabba to watch the footy! There was heaps of football fans there both Brisbane Lions fans and Melbourne Demons fans enjoying meals together before the footy match at the Gabba really recommend this place. The atmosphere was great and the food was sensational for pub grub. Thanks guys. See you next game.

Very nice and big pub restaurant. Had the lamb risoles from the $14 lunch menu. Flavour was amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend, especially the $14 and $18 lunch menus.

Quiet Tuesday afternoon, ordered a pint and a parmi for $41. Staff were friendly however very very average food. This parmi costs $27, with the additional sauce I paid for served in a plastic cup? I'd suggest going elsewhere for food. Would be a fun sports pub though.

Went there for the $21 Friday 300g steak dinner, and it was top notch! Quick service and the chips came out freshly and perfectly cooked. - Nothing better than fresh chips!

Had a really nice early dinner here with the steak special. It was yummy! Meat was cooked a little bit over but still tender and pleasant. Chips was hot and crispy and salad was fresh. Overall great experience. They have different meal deals throughout the week and prices are very good. Heaps of indoor and outdoor seats with big TVs for sports. Parking was easy around that time of the afternoon so it wasn't a problem. Would recommend!

True pub meals! Great parmies, roasts, bangers and mash. Monday nights $20, 300 gram steak's a winner. Especially if you have boys to feed! The meat is consistently spot on - (medium rare is always medium rare) there is a range of areas to sit. And!!! They have bottled sarsaparilla ðŸ¤-

The Pineapple Hotel is a perfect place to celebrate any occasion. I couldn't have been happier with our choice for my birthday lunch on a Sat afternoon. The hotel has a relaxed, casual, and laid-back family atmosphere. The food is fresh and tasty, served in generous portions and nicely presented to the table on stylish white crockery. Staff are all super friendly, polite and welcoming and the service is fast and efficient.

There are multiple dining areas inside and outside, with regular tables or high bar stool type seating. It's spacious and airy with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. There's also a little playground to keep the kids occupied. We sat on the outdoor terrace with views onto the park just outside.

The hotel has two special lunch menus, which can be a bit confusing, but the prices are unbelievably reasonable. Our main meals cost a modest $14 each, and that included the roast of the day, beef burgers, and barramundi burgers. There's also a kids' menu with meals costing $13 each and desserts for $14. Pints of beer are $10 each. The value for money is unbeatable, even though the price points seem a bit inconsistent, with desserts costing as much as main meals. The hotel should consider lowering the price of desserts to make the pricing more consistent.

There are also nightly specials in addition to the large selection of lunch deals.

The toilets are clean and well maintained, and there's easy parking, either in the venue's own car park or in any nearby street. This makes it the perfect place for a fantastic fun and hassle-free day or night out with family or friends.

I will definitely be back to the Pineapple Hotel. Thanks to all the staff who made my birthday lunch on Sat 04 Nov so enjoyable.

We had the family dinner here last night, the steak was very good, strongly recommend, 125$ for 1kg tomahawk steak, I take more people comeback again.

This is my go-to place recently for the steak specials.

First up, this place must serve the most fantastic piece of rump steak I have had so far in Brisbane. I'm personally not a big fan of rump steaks because they can be very dry; and unless the person making it knows how to do it well, they always end up a bit overcooked.

However, the rump steak at Pineapple Hotel always turn out the correct doneness that I wanted.

The steak is juicy and flavourful, and the chips are nice and crunchy with every bite.

I'd highly recommend the Pineapple Hotel. If you rock up on a steak night, you'd have scored yourself a fantastic deal! 😋

The Pineapple hotel has become my regular local pub and it's mainly for the $20 Sunday/Monday 300g Black Angus rump special - it is simply the best pub steak special you can find. The steak is always cooked near perfection, it's my favourite creamy mushroom sauce in Brisbane, and the chips and salads are both fantastic - 10/10 meal that keeps me coming back. I've had the Thursday $15 200g rump a couple of times too and whilst it's not the same quality cut as the black angus it's still an absolute steal in price and quality. I've eaten at the Steakhouse once and the steak selection was great but I much prefer the relaxed vibe of the Garden Bar, lovely to sit both inside and out, and excellent place to watch sport with endless screens. Service is fantastic, they pump meals out, can be very busy even on a Monday night but have always found a table. $9.90 Green Beacon pints are a winner too.

Had lunch there. Good value deals like seafood basket, chicken wings and fish taco. Have to admit it was a nice day, sitting in a corner overlooking outside. It wasn't busy, no complaint with the service.

Shared tomahawk steak with sides - it was MASSIVE, couldn't finish it, barely made a dent, but great quality, every aspect of it was top notch! Well done kitchen tonight'

Steak cooked perfectly for how we like it and a $13 Kids Meal that was bigger than my mine, you can't go wrong!!
Always good food here and lovely staff too!

They recently hosted the POWERS beer relaunch! Great back bar area, plenty of room for a couple of hundred people. Canapes were excellent and the beer was better! Powers is back!

Had an early dinner on a Sunday evening at "The Pinney".

The Sunday roast ($14) and the Sunday special 300gr Rumpsteak ($19) were very good and definitely value for money.

The beer selection is quite good too, although there is no clear price list to be found. We ended up spending nearly as much on 2 pints of beer as for the two dinner plates.

All I can say is PHENOMENAL!
Had the beef ribs huge as portion, extremely great table service. Will be stopping in again for an awesome feed

My third visit 13 Nov for dinner I ordered my fave BEEF RIBS. Thank you to the chef for going out of his way by adding extra portion of beef rib cos I love it soooo much (I requested extra portion) Honestly the staff are fantastic, see you guys again???????

A lively bar/bistro with lots of beers on tap and sports to watch. There's a good selection of meals. I ordered the Parma which was crunchy, well cooked and pretty tasty. The burger would've been better if the tomato wasn't straight from the fridge. Overall a great casual place for drinks and hanging out with mates

Obviously an icon of the Kangaroo Point peninsula. This pub is one of the greatest. It has a good variety of good beers in every size glass, and definitely enough coasters, which is important in the humidity. There's wines and spirits etc too. Heaps of nice places to sit, great area for groups. Kids area is well loved. The menu is standard pub fare, done well, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options aplenty. One star down because of the pokies, they're stupid.

Their lunch specials are incredible value. Such huge tasty meals for only $11. Jugs of beer only $15. I challenge you to find a better deal anywhere in Brisbane. And such friendly service.

Fantastic venue for family to get together. Easily accessible for people with mobility walkers and prams.
Food - particularly the steaks - was delicious and served swiftly. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Discovered this little dinner special by pure accident. Got the $13 plus $6 for prawns 200grm rump special. Cooked medium rare as asked, salad fresh and chips hot and crunchy. Simple food done well.

Went back and had a Parmy and Lasagna. Both pretty solid again.

There's few pubs in Brisbane where you feel that 'family vibe', this is one of them. Sometimes you'll get some rude bar service but that's not very often (I've come here a lot over the last five years).

The food is good, it's not great but it's good. For the price, I'm happy with it.

Compared to many other local pubs, you can't beat the view sitting on the back deck looking out over Raymond Park. The food however, was pretty ordinary. Overcooked egg on the steak sandwich, chips that tasted like frozen numbers that had been reheated a dozen times - mushy and flavourless. Won't be back for the food.

The food was really good, it just need some small adjustments for my taste but not a big deal, a little bit less of butter in the bread an some more minutes in the oven, less onion in the burger, because it's too sweet (I just took it out) The steak was in the point and the burger was good as well. I love when I go to a restaurant and they have paper straws, that shows somebody is trying to do something better for the environment!

Staff are lovely. The food is average with a premium price. The Pork belly was extremely fatty even though it was well presented. Children's pizza had tomato paste for the sauce. Something less rich may have been for appropriate. The prawns on a salad didn't look or taste like they were grilled and the dressing on the salad was hardly there. This notwishstanding, it is still a lovely place to go. The bar fare is nicer in many respects although I didn't try it on this occasion

I've always loved this place!
The steak house has always produced high quality goods. Being able to view and select the very cut of steak that you're going to eat is a rare treat. I look forward to the experience everytime.
The interior of the hotel is beautiful, clean and welcoming; worth a little exploration.
The lovely staff here are always friendly and helpful it's hard to have anything negative to say about the place.
As a lover of pineapple, my only comment is that I'd like to see pineapple better incorporated into the menu.

Very busy and well supported pub. A variety of good meals at reasonable prices, a large dining room, plus another dining room which has a play area for the kids. Good cold beer and wine, which everyone seemed to enjoy. Very helpful and friendly staff, good waiters and relatively quick to tidy and clean up. The meals arrived surprisingly quick. Good lamb shanks, great calamari and great steaks. The kids enjoyed burgers and chips. All in all a good night. Thank you.

This pub honestly never disappoints. Always serving great fresh food & drinks every time we come here. The staff are honestly so lovely, always so helpful and accommodating. It's the perfect spot for a nice steak, chips and salad on a nice sunny day over looking the park, Always find a park along the side couldn't recommend this pub enough.

Fantastic food and capable, friendly staff. Big portions so value for money. A little noisey for conversation in resturant but you get that everywhere. Downfall - parking, there is a small parking lot but it was full which leaves street parking. That too was hard to come by...advise to walk or use public transport. Well worth that small inconvenience though...recommended venue!!

Great Craft Bar at front of Pub with Lots of choices on tap . Top relaxed atmosphere to hang out with mates . Out the side & back , plenty of alfresco eating areas & a well set up Public bar on the other side. Meals were value for money & most of us took up on the $11 Lunch Special & were not disappointed. All the Staff were noticeably friendly and attentive. I can certainly recommend this Pub and I will definitely be back.
