4 of us went for lunch. bar service was initially good. Went to order food and the staff seemed to have vanished. The chef ended up taking our orders and we went to the bar to get another drink and the staff had still not returned. We had to get the chef to go find them and they were outside. Food was very nice and the staff were friendly, but did notice the service girl on getting notified that meals were waiting to be taken to tables, that 2 of us witnessed her taking perhaps a chip from one of the plates, dipping it in the sauce and eating it before serving to tables. Not sure if this was standard practice here but we thought it was odd.
Nice place to visit.

The fish we ordered was dry and the vegetables were slightly over- cooked. There were no sauces on offer to add flavour to the meal. The club could well do with a renovation. This was not a very inspiring visit.

We had Grilled Salmon, chips and salad and it was beautiful. The kitchen was very busy but we received our meals very quickly. It was a pleasure to eat there. Staff were friendly.

Four of us met for dinner on Thursday (2nd April) for dinner. We had the rissoles (x3) and a steak. The food was fantastic and so tasty. That mash potato is to die for!!! Steak was super tender. Price was great, as were the staff. Thank you again for a great meal..
